My wife and I have eaten all over in various high end restaurants, along with mom and pops throughout the country. Honestly we love our food, it is one of our past times to find the best places in Utah. So if I say If you EVER get a chance to visit the family at Rovali’s on the Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah, you should. You may just want to take the drive, even from Salt Lake City! We lucked out and stumbled across this wonderful restaurant on our way back to Salt Lake City from buying lottery tickets. The food, desserts, area, and ambiance are out of this world! The owner Alex and staff are just as delightful, can’t wait to see what we get next time on the menu! Our Meals: Spaghetti with House Made Meatsauce/ and a Giant Meatball covered in grated Myzithra cheese Side Salad with house made Caesar Dressing Garlic Cheese Bread House made Pesto Chicken Fettuccine Covered in grated Parmesan Side Salad with house made Blue Cheese Dressing Desserts to die for: Italian Cheesecake Honey Butter Cake This whole area/ neighborhood and above makes me want to relocate to the up and coming Ogden area. We’ll definitely be heading back. #italianfood #datenight #Ogden #Utah #food #dessert #history #moving #foodtodiefor

Absolutely wonderful experience. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately greeted and taken to a table where our waiter promptly arrived to take our orders. We had never been here before so we wanted to try a bit of everything! We got an appetizer, 3 desserts, two entrees, and drinks all for under $60. We were also served all of our food in under 20 minutes. As we were dining we were approached by Alex who was just as sweet as our desserts and welcomed us back as one of the family. Rarely am I compelled to leave a review for a restaurant [good or bad] but this was just too great to leave unheard. I would highly recommend the tiramisu and the banana brownie.

Ordered carry out and was happily surprised at how quickly my order was ready. No exaggeration when I say my order was done in ten minutes! It was also some of the best spaghetti I've had in Ogden. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Italian food.

Visited here from Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada and had a work dinner on Wednesday night. It was so great we decided to go back Thursday night. Service was fast, meal was wonderful (I had Pesto and hubby had Chicken Parm). Desserts to die for! Definitely worth going back! Oh and the Lavender and Limoncello Martini's were delish!

We stopped in here for dinner this past weekend. What a treat! Alex, the owner was so charming. He was seating everyone, and was very welcoming and friendly, and even shared a joke with each table as he sat them. I tried the eggplant Parmesan, which he highly recommended. And he was not wrong — It was delicious! I got pasta on the side with mine. My mom tried the eggplant Parmesan as well but she ordered the fresh steamed veggies on the side. She said everything was very good. The dinners also came with fresh baked rolls. So much food! We love every bite. Thank you!

Visiting ogden for work. A Co worker recommended this place. I'm don't eat very much so I ordered the kids menu. I got cheese Ravioli with Pesto vs marinara. It came with 5 HUGE Ravioli, more than plenty. I also got garlic bread that came with 2 dipping sauces. I chose the Alfredo. Delicious!

Happy to say I was very impressed with the food and service I received. We got to sit on their newly opened patio and loved the atmosphere. The owner personally sat us down and explained the specials and answered any questions we had before our server came out. For appetizers, we got the cheese bread and ravioli. Both were fresh and tasty. Main entree was chicken parmesan with steamed veggies and meat sauce. Flavor was amazing, and the meat sauce had the right amount of thickness to it. Veggies could have been steamed a little bit more, but that's personal preference. Will definitely be back! :)

Warm environment and good customer service. Food is somewhere in the middle, I can tell. Not great, not bad also. Pizza is bad, chicken parmesan is fair. Italian cheesecake and German chocolate cake is satisfactory. You don’t have a lot of option on the 25th but we can call this place pre Olive Garden.

Loved eating here. The food was amazing and I can’t wait to return! Edit: I’m updating my review, because Rovali’s exceeded my expectations again on my recent visit. This time I tried their special, the roast and it was tender and delicious! I never have room after dinner for dessert, so I will have to plan a special visit just for that in the near future.

Their menu items are beyond fantastic! The cost is reasonable! They let us mix menu items so if you'd like that ask them! They have a lot of customers. The wait is well worth it! Call or go there to see how long the wait is going to be! We enjoyed the Christmas lights that was so beautiful and went into some stores while waiting! You're treated like King & Queen!! You park in the back there are cameras there for your protection! 😀

I know this is a long review but it needs to be said. First off I wish there were more stars available because 5 does not do this place justice, thinking an option of 10 stars would be a better option. We found this place traveling back home after visiting my grandma in Colorado Springs. The location in the beautiful downtown area was a perfect backdrop. We did not have reservations so we had to wait about 30 minutes, thank the stars we did not leave. When we were finally taken to our table we were greeted by a wonderful hostess, she made us feel like family. She recommended several items and had a digital tablet to show the specials of the night. We started with the fried ravioli and they were the best I had ever eaten. I could probably have eaten a hundred of them, they were that good. For dinner, I tried a sampler platter of fettuccine alfredo, lasagna and cheese ravioli with a side of meatballs. The portions were perfect and the food was absolutely the best Italian food I have ever had. My son got a pepperoni pizza with sliced meatballs, once again from the crust to the sauce and toppings they were all top notch. He raved about it (keep in mind he just returned from a trip to New York were he tried several different pies and said this was just as good if not better). The lavender lemonade was very refreshing, the Italian soda was perfect. Dinners come with homemade rolls that are amazing. My wife loved the caesar salad and her adult beverage (once again recommended by our hostess). Finally when we were just about done, the owner stopped by to ask how things were. He welcomed us in and welcomed us to his family. We raved about the atmosphere, staff and food. He spent quite a long time engaging in an honest conversation and not just thinking about getting to the next table. He told the kids a corny joke and engaged everyone. You can honestly see he is incredibly passionate and proud of his establishment. Finally the desert menu came around. I opted for the tiramisu and once again the best I have ever eaten. The rest of the family all tried something different with the same results. This is a wonderful family operated restaurant. I would almost consider selling our house and moving to be closer to this place. You will not be disappointed and can't wait to return.

I had an incredible dining experience at Rovalis! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly staff and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious Italian dishes, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and authentic. The service was top-notch, and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was just right, making it a great spot for a romantic dinner. Rovalis truly captures the essence of Italian cuisine, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal. If you're looking for an exceptional Italian dining experience, Rovalis is the place to go!

Very friendly staff and the owner came out to visit and explain some of the menu items. The eggplant parmigiana was excellent, I had a special the pesto chicken on a bed of angel hair it was just ok. A little dry and minimal flavor on the sauce. My special was around 26.00!! Over priced for sure compared to comparable Italian and restaurants in general . The parmigiana was only 18.00. we also got a delicious strawberry champagne cake. Made fresh by the owners daughter. I gave four stars because of the wait for the food about 30 minutes and the over priced special. Two plates and a piece of cake for 70.00 including tip. They have some delicious looking lunch dishes that are more reasonably priced.

No complaints. It's a cool little place inside, and has a nice outdoor seating area out back. The food was delicious and priced right. The server was attentive.
