I was so excited to Google and find that there was a Black Bear Diner in Ogden, UT on a recent trip! It was so GOOD that we had breakfast 4 mornings of our 5 day stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs and the food was DELICIOUS! My favorite was the chicken fried steak and eggs. The grits are pretty dog on good too, and this is from the taste buds of a Southerner! I must mention the pancakes and french toast are very good also. Definitely order a fresh glass of freshly squeezed orange juice….it’s SO SO GOOD! I will definitely go to Black Bear Diner for more GREAT FOOD & SERVICE!!!
Okay Bear with me. Black bear Diner Ogden is the secret Salmon stream of Ogden. The food was great for the price (around $10-14) for everything. The service was immaculate. Everyone was super nice and quick. Got sat down and ordered in less then 5 minutes of entering the building. The theme of the Black Bear Diner Ogden is the pest part! From the outside you can feel the warm, cozy feeling of love you will feel. The inside reminds you of a log cabin with bear pictures that will spook you! This is a 4.8/5 star reasteraunt. Boss man took us out for breakfast and our server was amazing. She had a great personality to deal with all of us and was fast and reliable. Always had coffee in our cups and the food came out quick even with all of us there.
This is now my all time favorite restaurant! Excellent food, excellent service, good portion sizes, reasonably priced, food quality and speed was there, this place was jus the right place to go for breakfast! Highly recommend!!

We went in with my service dog for breakfast and our server Amelia went ABOVE and BEYOND with reccomendations and making sure our food was EXACTLY to our liking!!! She was always kind and eager to assist in any way. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and warm! We absolutely enjoyed our time there! The food was incredible too! The eggs were cooked thoroughly but still deliciously moist, the bacon was thick and the perfect balance between crispy and chewy for me, I cleared my plate and took the rest of my partner's home to finish! They were very courteous to my service dog and we even got a slice of bacon for her once we left!! 100% going back again!
Massive plates of food. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. Lots on the menu. I enjoyed the unique bear themed atmosphere and decor. Comfort food. I would go back and take friends.
My parents and myself had the little less turkey dinner. Food was excellent and there wasn’t an empty plate. Price was very affordable! Abi was our waitress and did a great job. Very personable and friendly. She took great care of us!!
I love the Ogden Black Bear Diner. I lived in Redding, CA and used to frequent the original Black Bear Diners and Ogden does a great job of providing the same atmosphere, service, and quality of the original. Our server, Lesly, is fantastic. She is usually our server since we often go at the same day and time. She knows us well and treats my son with autism so kindly. He loves seeing her, as does my entire family. Lesly and the entire team know how to take care of their customers.
