Coming from a person whom previously lived in California for 31 years. This is the best "Authentic" Mexican restaurant my mother and I have ever gone to. We recently moved here from California about 6 weeks ago. We've been to a restaurant named Burrito Grande and it was terrible. They call themselves authentic, but they failed. We've found this place just not far from us and we decided to give it a try. When we entered the restaurant, the atmosphere smelled like I was at my grandmother's home and she was cooking something good.
It was after busy hours. The waitress kindly greeted and seated us. The menu was small but the selection was tough to choose from as they looked enticing delicious. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla and a pork burrito. After a few minutes, our meals came to us piping hot and smelled really delicious.
The quesadilla was full of flavor. It was a perfect balance of queso cheese and carne asada. The pork burrito was "delicioso". We spoke to the wife of the chef and told here that it was well beyond satisfactory.
Now I'm not a big fan when it comes to menudo, but as a my curiosity peaked, I asked for a sample of their Menudo. She happily went back to the kitchen and gave us a small bowl of Menudo to try. After the first taste of the soup, I immediately feel in love. The tripe fell apart in my mouth. It wasn't tough and it was full of flavor. The broth was heaven. This restaurant has made me love Menudo after all these years.
The meals were cooked and made properly. The price is fair and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is very calm.
Can't wait to go back again and try some columbian meals as well. Very well done for being new.
I've driven by this restaurant many times and finally went in today with my fiance. I must say it was a great decision! The restaurant is modest but clean with lively decor. I was impressed and felt that they take pride in their establishment. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions about the menu and the restaurant.
Anyway, let's talk about the food! We ordered 4 tacos (chicken & carne asada), 2 sopes (chicken & carne asada) and one carne asada burrito for the both of us. Everything we ordered was delicious.. the chicken and carne asada was flavorful and juicy.. not overcooked like in other restaurants. Everything tasted so fresh! We ended up ordering another burrito (chicken) and 2 more chicken sopes to go!
I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some incredible, tasty Mexican food! We will definitely be back!

I went for lunch and got the bistec. It was great and the place wasn’t busy.
They have some really good menudo, and some huge home made tortillas, super good!!! A bit pricy. But you won't find authentic menudo like this one
We had a little mishap but they made up for it. We got to try their carnitas plate and mole and it was delicious!!
I've been coming here for years. The tacos are great!
