My husband and I were up in Ogunquit for the weekend and saw this place as we were driving by. We were in the mood for some low key casual food so we decided to stop. This place was AMAZING! Only open for 2 weeks and they are killing it! The food was outstanding, we got the #2 combo platter with chicken -literally the best chicken I've ever had so moist and crispy at the same time ribs- so much meat and flavor, and the brisket was so smokey and moist. The corn bread and baked beans were dynamite too. One of the best BBQ places I've ever been to. Josh and his wife (the owners) were so attentive It was worth every penny. There was a table of 4 next to us who were also giving the place rave reviews and said it was some of the best they've ever had including places they have tried in the south. Do yourself s favor and check it out. Ps happy hour prices are awesome too! $2 beers and $5 sangria... can't go wrong. :)

This place is awesome! We’ve been going to Ogunquit for 20 years and know the restaurant scene well....glad to find this gem of REAL bbq! Nice smoke flavor on everything. If you want a break from all the seafood choices along the coast...Check this place out. Staff is super friendly, the food is great and affordable. Atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly.

We have eaten at Smokey B's twice since it opened, and the food is delicious. The pulled pork, brisket, and wings were full of flavor. The servers are very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Had the BBQ plate so we could try a bit of everything. Very generous servings and the food was amazing! The slaw wasn’t drowning in sauce like some others, and was delicious. Brussel sprouts added a nice bit of veg to the meat-fest! We’ll definitely go back.

My wife and I split the #1 combo. We're big eaters and didn't quite finish. Everything was really, really good and nothing was really plain; in fact, most of the sides were made a bit differently than you would think. The cornbread was sweet (honey?) and came with some sort of cinnamon butter. The fries were think steak fries and were seasoned. The slaw was slightly spicy and I don't think it had mayo. The wings are MEATY, grilled, and dry rubbed. The brisket was pink and seriously tender (ask for extra sauce!). All the food is awesome. They have a couple of outdoor tables, too, but we passed since it was 93 degrees outside. Oh! And they have Baxter's IPAs, which is a good Maine beer.

Really enjoyed the perfectly-seasoned BBQ, the brussel sprouts, and the lemon/maple vinigarette dressing for my salad was superb! At first, the prices may appear on the high side, but considering the quality and the volume of food (leftovers enough for the next day) it turned out to be a great value. Have told many friends already and can't wait to go back.

Ended up here on a whim. After some lousy service at another local spot we called up and they told us they'd have a table for our party of TEN ready by the time we got there. Sure enough they did and the service was great from the get-go. We had small 4 kids with us and they were extremely patient and helpful the entire time. Oh, and the food was great too! Highly recommended.

If I told you honestly how awesome the food here is. And you probably wouldn't believe me. This is the internet. Nothing can be this awesome, right? Well it is. If you find yourself hungry in Ogunquit, go to Smokey B's and have yourself a pulled pork sandwich and pork infused cornbread muffin. No need to thank me. I'm happy to improve your life by recommending food.

My husband and I went to OGT last weekend. Based on my daughter and her husband's review we went to Smokey B BBQ restaurant. The very first thing I noticed was the place was immaculate! And then we had the food. We split a basket with ribs, chicken, pulled pork, corn muffins, coleslaw, fries. And a side of burnt ends. Never had burnt ends before but because my daughter and my son like them would try. Not my thing. They were tasty enough but would pass when go there again. The rest of the meal was outstanding. My husband loved the pulled pork. I didn't try it but the rest was very good. Being a corn bread/muffin fan their corn muffins were wonderful. And the people working were so nice. I know some good restaurants don't make it but I certainly hope Smokey B's does.

This place is the GREATEST. The food was made with love and that made the experience even better. I am truly excited about going back for a afternoon experience. We ordered the Buck at the beach. It was delicious. Thank you Smokey B for a wonderful food and experience YOU WILL SEE US AGAIN.

Awesome BBQ! Great service. Super Friendly staff. Pulled pork eggrolls are RIDICULOUS! The spicy BBQ ranch dipping sauce adds to the flavor. Difficult to find good BBQ anywhere in New England, this is a place to stop for sure!! The owner gave us a sample of the smoked wings.... also awesome. Will definitely return here again.

I’m always on the lookout for some good BBQ. Stopped in the local restaurant for a change of pace in a market that’s dominated by seafood and Italian cuisine. This is a family run brick and mortar restaurant and bar. Dear old dads picture is hanging proudly on the wall reminding us that everything in life has a humble beginning. I ordered a good amount of food to have the proper experience including brisket burnt ends, pork shoulder(pulled pork), smoked wings and 1/2 rack of ribs. The pork shoulder was tender, flavorful and moist, the brisket was the same. The house made sauces complimented the pulled pork really well, especially the spicy sauce. The baby back ribs had a really good bark, was tender but not so tender it fell immediately off the bone. It had a great bite, which is what you want in a rib. I’m a bigger fan of St. Louis style but these baby backs hit to spot for us. The smoked wings were cooked to the right tenderness, however as with all the food items they were missing a valuable component; Smokey flavor. I tasted slight notes reminiscent of oak and it was very mild but nothing of apple, cherry, mesquite or even hickory. I’m not saying it should have all those notes but maybe a little experimenting with more wood in the live-fire. The coleslaw was nice and mild with a nice peppery bite. The cornbread was lacking in moisture, It seemed very basic. This is a nice family run place and they are hard working. If you’re looking for something that isn’t lobster or fried seafood then give these folks a shot. The food stands out for sure and they have a great chance to succeed if this market will realize that there’s other options such as Smoky B’s Gin Mill and BBQ.

Incredible!! Really good BBQ is hard to find but Smokey's absolutely nailed it! From the coleslaw with cilantro, the burnt ends (yum!) and the melt in your mouth pulled pork, everything was fantastic. The show stopper for us was the pulled pork egg rolls. OH MY GOODNESS you HAVE to try them. I could have eaten those pork rolls EVERY DAY 😋 Thanks Smokey's B's, we'll see you soon 💚🔥🎉

With Brussels sprouts as there only real vegetable. They were perfect!! The coleslaw was a little spicy but that's what made it even better. We had three kinds of barbecue, all amazing. And the owners were super awesome!!

Talented pit masters out in Maine?!? Yes. All the meat is smoked and cooked to perfection and falls off the bone. Try the tasting platter for 2 with a couple of cold beers. The burnt ends with corn muffins, coleslaw and their house BBQ sauce are not to be missed. Great outdoor dining option
