It's like our own little Cheers bar right here in Okemos, except it's got great food and service, and it's clean and bright, so basically not like Cheers. It is our local, good eats and drinks location in Okemos, locally owned and operated by Henry himself. You can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu, and the drink options are nearly limitless as well.
We were here for a private party. The staff was extremely friendly and handled our crowd and the regulars very well. The food was good...nothing to write home about, but fine. We had a cash bar, and the prices for drinks were quite reasonable. Thank you to the whole staff for making a memorable night for our whole family!
Great place with good food. Servers are incredibly nice (although sometimes there's only 2 to serve a crowded restaurant). I love going at lunch as it's more relaxed and the food comes put quickly. Highly suggest the chicken nachos or the fish fry!
ordered the chicken fett alfredo, it was very good although noodles were not fettuccine they were cavatappi noodles but still tasted good. i also ordered their strawberry shortcake ice dessert which they were nice to deconstruct and put in separate containers for me since i ordered my food to go.
Always such good food here! And we get quick, friendly service. Tonight I had the Kickin Chicken Wrap with fries and hubby had the Olive Burger with cheese fries. Everything was delicious! The place is decked out in lights for Christmas too… very festive.
Went at 5pm for a quick dinner before a Wharton Center event. No wait. The staff was friendly, definitely a no frills spot for casual eats. I saw alot of reviews say the price was high for portion sizes but I didn't find that to be true. Price met portion based on standard costs I'm the area. Also... the lobster roll, edamame, Oysters and prime rib were great. I definitely enjoyed the parmesan truffle fries the most, they had a slew of postings and smother fries that I would try upon my return. I'll be back I'm a few weeks!!!! Prime rib is next. Recommend this place for sure.
My only complaint was that the music was too loud in the corner we sat by. The food was AMAZING!! Especially the Greek fries! They accommodated the kids really well including bringing their food out first so it could cool down and give them longer to eat. I got a free birthday dessert that was massive and scrumptious! Overall a great bar to eat at!

Went there with a 4 adults and 2 children. We had a great time, great food, and our waitress was so amazing. She very accommodating, patient, and explained everything for us. My 4 year old was dead set on a "red lemonade" NOT PINK she said lol. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure it was red and had a little orange slice for her. Thank you so much for making the ending of our wedding shopping trip special
High quality food, variety of liquor drinks, sitting setup is very casual, if you want to relax after work in Okemos neighborhood, this is one of the best choices, appreciate the menu design, it really takes good care of Asian customers’s taste too. Fun place to go!
Great atmosphere, great service, great food (they have fried okra!!!) and even better selection of craft beer, bourbon and whiskey! I loved that even at capacity the wait for food wasn't long and it wasn't really noisy! I will definitely be back again soon!
I stopped in for a quick lunch. Very good sandwich, a little on the pricey side at $25 with a pop and normal tip. Service was good until they got busy and the waitress was a little short handed.
We stopped in to try the new brunch, but ended up getting lunch! We each got one of the poutine varieties. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
We stopped in for dinner after a game at State and really enjoyed our meal! They have a nice selection of beers on tap, as well.
Small, unassuming restaurant that's offers good service and tasty food. I had the French dip with parm fries and enjoyed it. My wife had the Godfather burger and said it wasn't anything special but was prepared well and tasted good. If you're into it, they have a HUGE whiskey and bourbon selection.
First time at Henry's place and it was well worth the wait. The brunch menu was excellent and the service even better. We tried the French dip and the eggs Benedict and they were both excellent. Would highly recommend!
Great place, I found by accident. Was surprisingly neat, nice decorations, great people. Awesome choices on beers and food. Close to shopping mall and park.
