Feels like a diner but the food is good. Pakora and samosas stood out - eggplant dishes were great. Service was OK - they weren’t clear on vegan.
We are big fans of Indian food. Persis offers an incredible assortment of Indian dishes. Not just the "usual" stuff but things I, as an American, have never seen or tasted. What a wonderful adventure and place to bring a group for bite sharing! Fantastic staff. Beautiful environment. Generous portio
Most flavorful Indian restaurant in the GR-Lansing area. Biryani is top class, fried rice is amazing, pongal is finger licking good. Second time to this place even though an hour away from Grand rapids. Will comeback again for sure.
My safest and tastiest option in town for dine in , take out and for party orders. One of our favorite restaurants we opt alwayss !!
Hands down the best local Indian food. We go here almost once a week, it is my favorite! Even my kids beg for it. Our go-to dishes are butter chicken (pictured on left) and chicken tikka masala (pictured on right) with garlic naan bread. We have relatives from out of town who demand we order from he
Consistently good food. Big portions for the price. Lots of vegetarian options.
Amazing food. Full of flavor. Always piping hot! Look forward to anytime I get to choose where we eat!
We had a fantastic meal today, we were 4 friends. The Mirchi bajji, appolo fish, and chicken 65 appetizers were all delicious, with Mirchi bajji being my favorite. For the main course, both the chicken and goat biryani were excellent. Great service and ambiance, highly recommend!
We don't get over her as often as I'd like, but every time I do I remember this is my favorite Malai Kofta and mango lassi in town. Indian restaurants are generally good for vegetarian options, but this one is EXCELLENT, with extensive selections.
I visited this restaurant with my friends and we enjoyed the food. It was delicious and nice staff. I talked to one of the chef’s, his name is Sasi, as far as I remember, basically tamilian but speaks telugu also. He gave dessert as a complimentary. The food reminded me home.
Good service. Food was very flavorful, just the right amount of spice! Got butter chicken, garlic naan and lamb kurma were all wonderful.
The best food I ever had after coming to east Lansing the starters and biryanis are the best. The Kodi vepudu and the goat sukha are absolutely delicious.Friendly environment.
The best South Indian restaurant in east Lansing the biryanis are the best, the tandoori chicken is absolutely delicious, the goat pepper fry and the kadai chicken with the garlic naans are the best combination.great quality and quantity of food with in the budget
We went with a group of 6. Our host ordered appetizers, entrees, and a variety of naan for us. Everything was prepared to order and delicious.
Finally tried this place after many years of meaning to (after tasting very memorable samples at "Taste of the Town" events). SO good! Butter chicken and Persis Bread Basket were our favorites. Will definitely be back soon and will bring the kids. Can't wait to their dosas which weren't available wh
