Great soul food restaurant! If you like down home dishes like collard greens and oxtail and neck bones, then you'll love Mama E's. If you don't like those dishes...try them at Mama Es and you will!

It was absolutely delicious, the baked chicken just fell off the bone, collard greens had a good amount of salt and a back flavor of vinagar, mashed potatoes are excellent and the mac an cheese bake ... The fried chicken, greens and black eyed peas were on point! Flavorful but not salty. Portions are large. A senior plate would be great.
I am going to be unapologetically country and tell you the home cooking I was craving was so oh my goodness, hurt yo'self, mouth watering, and good. The pig feet were so tender and fall off the bone delicious. It was hard to be cute while eating them, but I think I pulled it off.
Some of the best food I've had in a while! The sides are amazing. Yams, homemade Mac n cheese, dressing and gravy, okra gumbo are the best. The service is fantastic. The folks are friendly and helpful.
