I enjoyed the best breakfast I have had in years! The bacon was thick, crispy, and flavorful. The pancakes were giant, fluffy, and didn’t need any syrup for flavor. For once, my scrambled eggs were not overdone, as every restaurant always seems to do. We were given very quick service, and all the wait staff, not just our own waitress (who rocked, by the way) was jovial and helpful. It just so happened to be our first restaurant outing with my daughter’s service dog. No attention was paid to him, which is helpful and appropriate. (Also Nova, the dog, was so impressive that our waitress never knew he was under the table until he popped out as we were leaving. I can’t believe the deliciousness of the food did not sway him from his job one little bit!) I can’t wait to go back and try the lunch menu, though it will be hard not to order the same breakfast again.

The best new diner in OKC! (3015 W. Memorial Rd)We LOVE BBD! The food is great, large portions, and service is excellent. Our server, Frank was the best! Kept us happy(and full) during the whole experience. Love that you can order breakfast anytime of day. We would definitely encourage everyone to give them a try, immediately.

A very interesting place. Lots of bears. You definitely get your money's worth and shouldn't go home hungry with these serving sizes. The service and food were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and shall return soon.

Black Bear 🐻 Diner is a great place to eat. They have good ole fashioned home cooked foods and deserts. The service is great and the atmosphere is unique.

This place was great! Loved the atmosphere and amazing variety on the menu. My buffalo chicken wrap was really yummy! Sia (sp?) was a very sweet and great server. I will say seemed like a pretty slow paced atmosphere though so not sure I'd recommend it if you're in a hurry.

Food was delicious. Portions large. Price reasonable. Service was polite but slow. It took awhile to get seated although there were plenty of tables. It took awhile to take our order. Coffee not served until food was served. Weird not to have coffee ready at a diner. Once they took our order it did arrive quickly.

I was pretty wowed by this place. Michael, our server was adorable 😍 and very proficient. I ordered the Eggs Benedict... 🥚 1/2 standard....and 1/2 California style... with hashbrowns and fresh fruit. My friend ordered an omelet and a biscuit with gravy... 🥚 🍳 🥚 . My other GF orded a waffle 🧇 which had a cute little bear 🐻 🐾 in the middle. The restaurant had such a nice woodsy decor with lovey pictures of bears and woody scenes. There is a cute little shop area with all kinds of Black Bear items.. there were the most adorable bear boots... 💙 . *Just cause I was a restaurant GM in another life I have to say the couple things that could have been better were, the trash 🗑 right by the front door 🚪 needed attention and the 🚻 restroom had trash on the floor. None of this was warranted taking anything from the overall 5 🌟 star wonderful experience we had. 😊

Very nice restaurant with great atmosphere, typifying the Great Northwest. Large portions of food with great specials daily and during the weekdays. Service was above average. I had the corned beef hash which was a little dry. The bacon is thick cut and the potatoes are great.

We had the best experience at Black Bear Diner. The server and the asst manager, Jason Pickett, both provided excellent service. The food was delicious; the prime rib had a great flavor, the ranch is a homemade bacon ranch, the sweet potato fries and the garlic fries were a perfect side and the cornbread is the best I've ever had. We ordered the banana cream pie, chocolate cream pie and the bread pudding to go, all were delicious!! I can't wait to go back for breakfast in the morning! Highly recommend if you want a relaxing environment and some perfect sweet tea!

(03/03/23, I recently had their pancakes 🥞 and they are the best I've ever had, huge too.)Had the biscuits and gravy for under 6 dollars, quick to go service under 3 min. By far the closest to Grandy's, but you might ask for extra gravy. Still way better than metro diner across the turnpike, as these biscuits were twice their size. Therefore they are the winner in today's biscuits and gravy battle. (I haven't actually eaten here, but I've delivered to customers and the breakfast always smells just amazing, the inside and outside of the store is really beautiful. Nice cozy feeling inside.)

We came in from a conference with 18 people. While they seemed short staffed on a weekday night, they joyfully and promptly served us all, getting each order right. The staff, including the manager, seemed thrilled to work there and entertained us, without being a bother. 10 stars if I could. Excellent service and food was delicious. Highly recommend the team and this establishment.

Excellent service, very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The prime rib was 10oz for $16. It was a little chewy and fatty, and overcooked for rare, but otherwise, had a good flavor. The sides were all tasty, especially the tomato and potato soup, sweet potato fries and cornbread muffin. We were impressed by the rare cooked burger, on sourdough. Great flavor! Unfortunately, the medium cooked burger was charred and almost inedible. The fish and fries, and chicken fried steak were also good.

Just your classic diner! Food was pretty decent, I went for breakfast and got a basic breakfast plate. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. The plates could go without the garnish, though. It’s a little much. I’d rather come here than somewhere like IHOP. Service was a little slow but they were nice.
