Recently changed my vote. Between the cookie dough cupcake and the hunka chunka banana love I have to say the concept is growing on me. Much more sophisticated flavors than I initially gave them credit for. The owner and staff are also very polite and patient with my mother who practically lives there. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Liked it but didn't love it. Bought 3 different kinds to split with family. The red velvet was really dry but the lemon and the happily ever after were good.
Split one!. The cupcakes are great, but be sure to split one. I don't know anyone who has been able to eat their own cupcake without feelign sick afterward. They are very big and sweet but delicious!
Delectable!. I grab a few every month or so for the family, and they are delicious. I think maybe one or two have been dry since I've been going there for some time now, but usually they are incredibly moist. They have a ton of icing on them, and they really are good looking. We had a bunch made for our newborn's Christening and they were well priced, beautiful, and tasted great. The girls there are always so helpful.
This is what a cupcake should be. Best selection. Flavor to please everyone in the family no matter what your taste. Have read too much icing. Would rather have too much than too little. You don't have to eat it all....I eat the Wedding Cake with all the icing it is my favorite. While the PB&J (Peanut Butter and Jelly) is a little too sweet for me but I love the flavor combo...So I take a little of the icing off..No big deal.
Service is great and the price is good too. Order the mini's for a Bunco Night with the girls...They will love them!!!
Nom nom!. I love Gigi's. They are huge and sweet and yummy and they have a great variety. Too bad it's a franchise. I prefer to support local, unique businesses. But I just can't help myself with Gigi's.
My only downside is that they are so top-heavy, they're hard to transport. My favorite is the wedding cake.
Lovin this chain. Haven't had a bad cupcake yet, but my husband and I do think the icing to cake ratio isn't quite right with these cakes. I looooove icing. I'm that person that complains when the bday cake being served at work is made with that fake whipped icing. There's just a bit too much icing on these cupcakes though. I don't like to be forced to eat my cupcake with a fork. We keep on coming back for more though! My absolute fave is the wedding cake.
Best cupcakes in OKC. I don't understand the 67% liking. Really? I've never talked to a person that has not liked Gigi's! Yes they have a lot of icing,...but honestly, most people know that before they go, or you can see it while you're there. If you don't want it, turn around and go to Barnes and Noble for a cake pop.

The economy is terrible.
They need to think of their location and the economy and make their prices more reasonable/comparable in the area if they want to stay in business over the long-term.
Either way, I do love their cupcakes. They are expensive, so I can't imagine buying multiples.
Amazing!. I ordered a dozen cupcakes from here for my employees (one of each flavor for the day). I had a great experience with the cute atmosphere, helpful staff, and wide selection. They have a different menu of flavors every day! The thing that attracted me the most to Gigi's is that they do not use box mix or tubs of icing. They are cupcakes made from scratch with high-quality ingredients. We all sliced the cupcakes into small pieces so we could try all of the flavors. ALL WERE GREAT!!! Yes, the cupcakes are bigger and have mounds of frosting, but they look/taste amazing. You get what you're paying for. I, along with everyone from the office, has made this the go-to dessert place. Oh, and they don't re-use leftover cupcakes at the end of the night like almost every other place. They donate them. I'll keep returning.

Yummy. Gives Cuppies and Joe a run for their money! I got a dozen and shared them at the office to critical acclaim. The Kentucky Bourbon Pie was my absolute favorite. They run $3 a pop so they aren't cheap but one filled me up and that is saying something!

I had seen mixed reviews of Gig's, am a cupcake lover and wanted to find out for myself. I ventured out to Gigi's as soon as they opened at 8:00 am (I now recommend waiting until after 10:00 am as that is when they likely have their daily special out). It is a fairly small shop - (just West of Quail Springs Mall and in the same strip center as Cool Greens), they also sell "Gigi" promotional items - like t-shirts, hats, etc.
I asked about the cupcake flavors and about the frostings - they have a buttercream and a cream cheese type. I'm not a big fan of cream cheese frostings, so I opted for buttercream options only. I picked The Wedding Cake - white cake, white buttercream with white nonpareils (sprinkles); The Midnight Magic Chocolate Chip - devils food cake w chocolate chips, chocolate buttercream and chocolate chips; The Chocolate Cream Pie - devils food cake, chocolate buttercream, graham cracker crumbs around the sides and a little marshmallow topping (oh, and it also had some creamy chocolate filling that was awesomeness).
All of the 3 I tried were really good - but my favorite (so far) is the Chocolate Cream Pie. If I were to recommend just one to try, it'd be this one - all of the ingredients just worked together flavorwise.
On their Spring/Summer Menu they have over 20 different flavor combinations - and rotate through 12 of those daily (and a daily special). I would think that with all of the combinations available that there is something here for everybody - yes it may seem a little pricey but maybe look at it as a special treat! Don't let some of the negative reviews deter you and decide for you. If you are in the area, stop by Gigi's and Try it For Yourself!

There are a number of unusual flavors in a good way that you won't find anywhere else in the city.
I also challenge anyone to find cupcakes with so much frosting on them.
While I've only sampled the small ones and they were very good, my fellow employees are happy campers when I deliver GiGi's to them.
Gigi's cupcakes are both beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat! We tried the banana split, pink princess and wedding cake cupcakes. The cakes were moist and soft and the frosting delicious and sweet. They are very rich, but isn't that what cupcakes are supposed to be?! Loved Gigi's!
I LOVE these cupcakes. They were very delicious and made to perfection. Has never had a bad cupcake yet! The girls that work there are so friendly and nice. Good job everyone! I always love stopping by
Icing Extravaganza. Each of these cupcakes is carefully crafted to look just like they do in the pictures on their menus. You can taste the quality of the ingredients they use come out in their product. Their props and multitude of flavors allow the underlying modern sentiments to pop. Each cupcake has a quirk about it to make it unique from all of the other cupcakes on their menu, and Gigi's always has some good experimental cupcakes and other local favorites through the use of their Daily Specials. The icing on their cupcakes is symbolic to how they stand in the pastry world, they stand tall above all others.
Great place. The icing on these cupcakes is what makes them stand out from all the rest. Very rich and moisture. I drive 3 hours for Gigi's cupcakes.
This is exactly what I want when I want a cupcake. The icing is so tall that I couldn't take a whole bite. It's amazing sugary goodness!
Outstanding customer service and quality! If you haven’t tried their new pumpkin bars you need to! Wow, delicious! And the beautifully decorated floral cookies are fantastic! They are a work of art! Of course, to die for cupcakes, too! My go to place for special goodies and food gifts!
I absolutely love these cupcakes. Their my favorite of all time. There isn't one by me, so I was excited to find one when visiting OKC. We came late night and they were still fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

This is a nice cupcakes shop! The lady was super nice and the cupcakes are very tasty. The icing is perfect and tastes super delicious combined with the pumpkin. Try their pumpkin spiced latte cupcake!! On a side note I wish their double stuffed icing on the cupcake tasted more like oreo otherwise still delicious!
My mother owns a bakery so if I like your cake that’s how I know it’s good! I have access to top tier cake whenever I want so you know it’s good when I go there to guy cupcakes and their lemon bars! They are very sweet so if you want something more balanced it might not be for you. But the flavors are always on par for the names (birthday cake taste like birthday cake, turtle cheesecake, tastes like cheesecake, etc.) and the cake is moist, the icing is thick, what more could you ask for? It’s also super cute and everyone is nice. A bit pricy but the quality makes sense!

Love this place so much! The staff is the sweetest and they have the best cupcakes. They also sell cute little accessories and other items. The only place I go for cupcakes! Everything is fresh and the service is amazing.
Absolutely amazing service, I called very last minute for a large order I’m sure was a pain to pull off! They actually had it ready early! I appreciate them so much for taking on such a task. Not only is the service amazing the cupcakes are to die for. I would highly recommend to anyone and I thank them so much for helping me out the way they did! They made one little boy very happy! We bought half a dozen cupcakes, a strawberry margarita, a red velvet, a wedding cake, a lemon, a funfetti and a salted Carmel chocolate cupcake. Every single one was Devine! I could not choose my ultimate favorite because they were all that delicious.
Gluten free is yummmmmmy!! Wish they had a location closer to Yukon/Mustang
