I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only is the food amazing and authentic( the chicken curry is to die for) but the owners are angels. We ordered takeout and my special needs son pulled apart the owners Samsung earphones lying on the counter and they refused to take any compensation and waived away the money. They also included a free garlic naan in the order! My son felt so ashamed of his behavior even though he isn't able to stop himself from doing this most of the time, because be they were such wonderful people
If you like Indian food, come here. If you've never had Indian food, still come here. Especially for the Saturday buffet. Delicious butter chicken, beef vindaloo, and fresh made to order naan. Very friendly staff, and the owner always wants to make sure everything is good and you have plenty to eat. I can't recommend this place enough.
Chana Masala is to die for! The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff are so kind and the chef seems genuinely excited to share his cooking with you! This place should be packed daily because it is truly wonderful!
Amazing food, great flavor and spices. The butter chicken is amazing. I enjoyed the buffet to try out different things. Very friendly people. Will definitely be back!
Last night we ate at Tandoor and had the most delicious meal! Their buffet was outstanding, with a good variety of choices. Add to that, the fresh naan, and I was in heaven. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining area was classy, clean, and comfortable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

From Cleveland to Boston, Toronto to Pittsburgh, this is the BEST Indian food to be had! I absolutely LOVE this place! The buffet selections are great, with meat and vegetarian selections. There's always something new to me, and every dish more delicious than the last. Oh, and the fresh naan? Oh man! All served by the nicest folks. Eat here - again and again!

Delicious takeout!!! Curry veggies were perfectly done and Tandoori chicken was the jusr-right amount of spicy!
What you want is great Indian cuisine, friendly people, and a quiet atmosphere to enjoy dining and talking. We love Tandoor!

I got a warm welcome followed by a good assortment of tasty food! Definitely going back.
One star less because the owner wants to close.

Food was great.
Excellent food and inexpensive. Very friendly mom and pop, it felt like delicious Indian home cooking. We were the only ones there. More people should eat here!
This is Very Good Indian Cuisine! Hard to find in this area. I ordered ours medium not knowing what to expect, if you enjoy this Cuisine I suggest getting it hot. Ignore what it looks like on the outside!
We have not been able to eat here. It seems that I was HUGELY mistaken about the restaurant being closed. He is open now - on November 20th at 3:45 pm. I do apologize for my error. We come to Olean during lunch hours normally. He always has GREAT food!!!!!! Come and enjoy dinner at Tandoori the Taste of India!!!!!
I thought the food was pretty good. We went at noon on a Saturday and were the only patrons in the restaurant. We had the buffet, but I think that was the only option. There was not a wide variety, but it was tasty. The bread brought to the table was freshly baked and delicious. The lady owner showed us right to the buffet. She was very difficult to understand, but did her best to help answer questions. There were only 2 workers in the restaurant. I'm assuming they own it. They both came out and checked in with us throughout our meal.
Amazing! Probably the best food I've had out in a while. Since they make everything fresh to order, service takes a while, but the owner/chef is very friendly and very talented! I will definitely be back. They are willing to make accommodations, (vegan, etc.) if you tell them what you need changed when you order. Very accommodating, and very much worth the reasonable prices. (Our entrees were between $10-$13) The food was absolutely worth the bit of a wait!
Great experience! He is an incredible chef and especially since he does a one man show. He brought out special sweet bread that was delicious and potato cakes in addition to the excellent buffet food. He also went above and beyond restaurant service and helped my grandparents to the car. Highly recommend!
