Came upon this place by complete accident as we were looking to get coffee next door but ended up arriving after they closed. We checked this place because they serve coffee beverages and the owner approached us as we were eyeballing the window menu. We ended up having the best pizza I have ever had and a delicious chocolate cake (I don't even like cake) paired with a perfect espresso. I highly recommend this place. The

If you want the best pizza look no further! Since trying this place for the first time 3 years ago, I can no longer eat pizza anywhere else. The quality of the ingredients they use far exceed those used by local competitors, and the crust is the best I've had. Combine that with the beautiful wood oven, friendly staff, and the charming ambiance and pizzeria La Gitana stands out among the rest.
Ps. Save room for dessert! The Tiramisu and Milojas are to die for.
My wife and I️ stumbled across this romantic spot walking Downtown Olympia, and we must say by far the best pizza ever. But what made it better was the atmosphere and the service. Sara made the best peach belinies while Justin our server was so friendly and down to earth. Definitely will be back!
Truly enjoyed our first visit here. The decor is very welcoming - love the colors and the walls lined with original paintings. I was particularly pleased that our server was eager to answer my questions about vegan options and was even more pleased to be able to enjoy a very tasty arugula, mushroom and onion pizza that met my needs. Loved the light crust - who wants to fill up with crust when you can enjoy all the delicious veggies! The house wine was excellent - much nicer than most house wines are. We felt the price point for lunch was also very good. Our server was great at letting us know about the live entertainment available here on the week-ends - including Flamenco dancing. We'll definitely be back.
I have been singing and eating here for a few years, and for starters, the owner and staff are some of the friendliest and most genuine people in town! Then, there are organic ingredients, the thin crust, authentic pizza, the abundant salads, and the Italian style coffee that take your taste buds to a whole other place. I love the ambience, the intention and the quality of the food here - it's one of my friends' and family's favorite places to eat. La Gitana is a treasure!
After seeing posting on Facebook myself and two friends decided to stop it an check out the place. To our utter delight the Pizzeria La Gitana was "AMAZING"! Justin our waiter was never far away and was attentive to our every needs. I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal, and don't forget to save room for dessert!
This is the best pizza I have ever eaten. MY new favorite place. Great ingredients, awesome service (even on a busy night during arts walk), cute simple style. I can't wait to go back.
Our party of nine, people dropped in after the Women’s March. Not only were they accommodating and welcoming, each woman in our party received a red rose from the server for participating in the March. Very thoughtful! The food was excellent and our server, Carlos was outstanding! ❤️
This is the best pizza in town, I've tried them all. This place is about atmosphere and the best quality ingredients. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home.
Absolutely the best tiramisu! Delicious pizza with unique toppings. Service is great, and you're in for a treat if you catch the live jazz on Saturday nights.

The pizza is real, Romanesque style thin crust and their pasta is some of the best I've ever had.
I was going to give 4 stars because the service was a bit spotty and it seemed a bit pricey; but then our pizza came out and the 5th star appeared. Yum! Best around, hands down. Great atmosphere! We made reservations and they had a perfectly set, delightful table ready for us right by the window. Will definitely be back!

Took my daughter here for her birthday and everything was delicious. The staff are very nice. It is beautifully decorated.

One of my favorite pizza places in Oly! The ingredients are fresh, I love their thin crust, and the sauces they make are so delicious. Always good service that is timely. If you’re looking for an elevated, healthier pizza experience above traditional fast food chains, this is definitely a place worth going to!
Great food and great service, a but a bit pricey. (A sign of the times) Their pasta and pizza are organic and you can tell. I definitely recommend stopping by.
Our family of 3 enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was a little off as we had to flag down servers for water, refills, and a kid color sheet that was mentioned/promised to our kiddo. Pizza was our very quickly once we were able to place our order. It was tasty and crust was thin (if that’s you’re preference). We had a kid-friendly pepperoni and ham but there were lots of other fun options on the menu. Price was reasonable. Atmosphere was very nice. Street parking, only.
This place has the BEST pizza and BEST tiramisu I have ever had. I’ve eaten at many Italian restaurants in many states, definitely on my list of top places to eat at 😍 we got the prosciutto pizza and truffle oil. Can’t wait to come back for more!
