Have driven past here for years wanting to stop in, finally had the chance and it was well worth it.
Had the BBQ sampler, everything was delicious.
Caveat: I am not a BBQ sauce fan, the meat needs to be good on its own.
The pork ribs were moist with a light bark to them, the sauce had a hint of blackberry(?) to it and worked well with the smoky flavor.
The Chicken was also delicious and had a good smoke flavor to it.
The pulled pork was fine all on its own.
The brisket was moist and flavorful.
The Hot link was spicy without excess and had a nice grill mark on it.
The Baked beans were tasty.
We substituted in the garlic fries and the were more than enough for two people.
Service was great but it was not very busy.
The atmosphere is fun and man have they won a lot of awards!
We will defiantly be back when passing through here again!
I've always wanted to stop here on my way to the ocean and never have. so I stopped in for lunch after riding dirtbike in the capital state forest and tried there pulled pork and beef brisket combo with cornbread, baked beans and potato salad. everything was amazing. it wasn't super busy on a Saturday afternoon, the stuff was very friendly and i was seated and served quickly. I'm upset I've never stopped before, it always looks kinda busy. but it's worth it ! I go to my mother in laws in ocean shores every couple months and this place is now going to be a must stop on the drive over...
Had the best experience with Joe and Robin today from Ranch House BBQ. They catered a wedding at our venue, The Orchard at Sunshine Hill, and the food and service was top notch! We highly recommend their food and their service!
Food was great! Service was even better. Glad I was able to make it before closing. Their ribeye steak, pulled pork, and brisket are phenomenal. Definitely recommend this place.
My daughter and son n law bought a house in Elma.. every Sunday we pass this bbq place and say sometime we have to stop.. OMG. The best BBQ food we have had In a very long time.. We will be back.. �
Their food is to die for! We had them cater our wedding and it was a big hit! From the smoker truck they tow down to service from Joe and his staff we could not have asked for anything more. If it's stopping in for lunch or having them cater, you will not be disappointed!
Great food the four of us had four different dishes steak, burger, sampler plate, and one of the specials all were outstanding. And by the way the best Mud pie I have ever had!
I’ve been meaning to check this place out for years and today my family and I did. I should punch myself in the face for waiting for so long. The food and service were amazing. This will be the new stop on the way home from the ocean, and I’ll probably make the two hour round trip drive every so often just to get my fix
Best bbq around. Good size portions, large but not completely insane. Love all the meat and the garlic fries are to die for.
Debra and I have enjoyed the Ranch House BBQ for well over a decade. The food is always amazing. The staff is attentive and friendly. And Joe, the GM, is the best!

Finally stopped by after driving by it and missing out for multiple reasons..omg!! So good!! Can't wait to go back! Restaurant was so clean and staff was awesome! Loved it so much, bought a jar of their house bbq sauce since it was what I've been trying to find in a sauce for home meals. Get in there people! �
Delicious pulled pork and brisket. Divine corn bread. Really, really good baked beans. Tasty, unorthodox cole slaw. Well worth a drive in the country to get it all!
Stopped there on my way home yesterday from Ocean Shores. Did not know anything about this restaurant. They have many choices. We had BBQ pork, hot links, chicken, potato salad, beans and garlic fries were excellent.The food is amazing. I can't wait to go back there again. I'm willing to drive the hour it takes to go back there and eat. Very impressed.
Very nice bbq place - menu with good variety - clean rustic atmosphere - excellent service. 5 stars for me.
Good food, and always busy! I really enjoyed their pulled pork & chicken & burgers, but not too big on their brisket. I think they need to work on getting some better bark on their brisket, but it's moist & tender. I really enjoy their BBQ sauce as well it's served on the side & has a fantastic tangy bite to it. I've been several times, and look forward to trying more menu items.
An absolute taste bud experience,if you love barbecued meat of sorts. Great quiet setting surrounded by trophies to license plates, saddles and more. With the smells of barbecue in the air all is calm.A heat variety of drinks plus dessert. We will go again.
This place is great. It is what you would think a BBQ place is like. We had the BBQ sampler and shared it between us. It was plenty of food. We added a couple appetizers, O'rings, chili and macaroni balls. Everything was excellent!
Everyone working was super friendly. The brisket was AMAZING!!! We each got the BBQ sampler and it was so much meat that we basically ended up taking almost a full order of leftovers home. I've been driving past this place for years and I'm glad I went in. You aren't finding sugary, sticky overly drenched meats here, so you can taste all the amazing smoky flavor. I give this place ten stars.
I am mostly a plant based eater, but I make the occasional exception and RHBBQ is one of my favorite exceptions. Due to Covid, I do not dine in, but I love the take out. I just get the meat by the quarter pound and do the trimmings at home. Been there 10 or 11 times over four years and have never been disappointed. Looking forward to the end of this pandemic when I can dine indoors again.

Great little BBQ stop on the way home from camping at the ocean. Nice atmosphere and staff. I shared the sampler plate with my husband and we still couldn’t finish, the portions are very generous! We liked the pulled pork best. The ribs were pretty fatty but the brisket and chicken were tasty. The fried macaroni balls were a favorite for all. We would definitely stop here again!
Friday late afternoon and the place was hopping! Had to wait for a little to get a table because the staff was busy running the restaurant like clockwork and serving call-in orders. Once seated the waitress was very cheerful and helpful. The dinner was out of this world! Perfect is an understanding.
Hiked Rock Candy Mountain Trail and looked for a close by restaurant. Wasn't disappointed. I had the pork and brisket plate. Absolutely delicious, the brisket just melted in your mouth. Ashley our server was awesome. We'll be back.
