Hands down the most amazing food, atmosphere, & service from a restaurant!! Thank you guys soooo much for all your hard work with this place. The cooks are always hard at it making sure your food is beautifully presented and flavored. We discovered it by accident and now its our spot for every birthday, holiday, & event. No complaints, Harts Mesa is as close to perfect as you can get. Thanx guys sooooo much!!

Best fish tacos and soups are to die for. Do yourself a favor and eat here now! Clean and quaint in a neighborhood close to the Olympia co-op.

We had no idea this place existed, until we saw a review.  It is off the beaten track, next to the Olympia Co-op.  This day they were training a new cook, so the kitchen was very slow.  The service was good otherwise and they did warn us.  Wife had the Tex Mex Migas with sweet potatoes.  The sweet potatoes were cold, a problem with the new cook, but they had a new set out very quickly.  She did enjoy it.  I had the Chilean Steak Sandwich and also really enjoyed it.  There are lots of vegan choices, it that is what you want.  Hopefully the kitchen is faster with an experienced cook.

Came here for breakfast! My family and I had the Chipotle Benedict, the Calballeros Pobres and the special, Crab Benedict. Both Benedicts were great and had lots of shredded pork/crab. The French toast was also delicious--not super heavy. Can't wait to come back for lunch!

Nice little hidden gem. Really a great menu for those of you that like Latin food!! I tried the Huevos con Chorizo and they were very good. They do have a really diverse menu. Will definitely come again.!

Updated review: I really loved my last meal! The service was great. They accommodated my child - an annoying, low-paying customer when it's really busy. The food was amazing. They added vegan french toast to the menu, really good and on sourdough. The Cilantro Lime Benedict is still your best for brunch. The server said he's not vegan, but that the dish could compete with any meal in town. Great value for the quality of ingredients, presentation, and taste. The restaurant is really smoky inside. I wouldn't take an infant in there. If that issue is resolved, five stars! Shortened past review: Skip the vegan breakfast burrito. I was surprised when the server asked if I wanted beans OR potatoes in the burrito. The menu says "beans AND grilled sweet potatoes." Those aren't precious ingredients.

We had not been in Hart's Mesa since they moved. We suggested it for a late breakfast with our friends. The old place was in an old house, this is all one room and can be noisy. Now we know, don't go here expecting to be able to have a conversation. Anyway our friends were intrigued by the vegan entrees, even though they are not vegan or vegetarians, and enjoyed what they ordered. My wife had the Tex Mex Style Migas, which I think she has ordered before, and really liked it. I had Sourdough French Toast, which was also very good. The service was decent.

Update, they are unfortunately closed. First of all..two things; they now serve dinner and don't be in hurry. This traditionally breakfast and lunch establishment has now branched out to dinner. Unlike most mornings, we were able to get seated for dinner right away. Southwest cuisine, we settled on enchilada and tacos which were fabulous. Our neighbors had a chicken dish which looked absolutely delicious and a huge, but I can't remember the name. They offer a vegan menu also. Warning: you get pickled carrots with a dip that they warn you is hot, it is! The brussel sprouts side is the way to go. The slight wait was worth it. I'll be back very soon.

This place is usually busy for a good reason; great food at a moderate price. The menu has a nice variety of authentic Mexican dishes which include vegetarian and vegan options. There is also a good variety of Mexican beers. The table service is outstanding and the seating is comfortable. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. This place is crowded and can be very noisy. Technically this place is handicapped accessible, but a very tight turn at the narrow front door along with tightly packed tables/seating pretty much nullifies access except crutches or cane. If you found this review to be helpful please consider a thumbs-up.

Dude and Dudet reviews: We stopped at Hart's mesa on a rainy Saturday morning at about 11:00am and they were very busy (4-14-18). Atmosphere 4.5/5Very simple very clean. Alot of seating for a little hole in the wall. Dudet says she does wish it had more colors and art to match the beautiful colorful logo. Dudet did some recon of the bathrooms and surprisingly they have eco friendly soap and it was spotless! We were discussing the music level and thought none was playing but then we stopped talking for a moment and realized it's just loud enough to brake the silence. It was PERFECT for a breakfast brunch joint. The wait staff was in a positive upbeat mood. Neither of us felt rushed even though they were very busy. Dude really appreciated the manager was out working the floor with the rest of the staff. Food 5/5 when arrived at our table was picture worthy. Dudet says there was not a thing she would have changed on her plate. She had the chipotle Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was so well done it would convert you into a lover of it if you were not already. Eggs were perfectly cooked. She Loved The diverse use of spices. She did order a side of potatoes that was delayed, but with how well and quickly they handled The matter dude and Dudet decided it wasn't worth affecting The score. Dude ordered the harrison hill skillet. Mouth watering, perfectly cooked, seasoned, amazing deliciousness. The layers of flavor were well developed The ingredients were of a good quality. The flavors and textures along with the small details like useing both purple and yellow potatoes was brilliant. Coffee is batdorf and Bronson $3 gets you unlimited refills. It's a steal of a deal. Don't forget to tell them to make it messy. Overall: The atmosphere was simple but the food was anything but simple. Amazing service, quality, and very unique. This will become a regualr spot for breakfast brunch dates for us. Both dude and Dudet would highly recommend this oly inspired gem!!

All I have to say is wow! Great food options. The best part of Hart's Mesa is if it's not on the menu they can make it for you to your liking with their amazing chef.
