Review Six Peaks Grille - Olympic Valley

Super nice and friendly staff and very delicious food. Our server's name was Jeff and he was amazing. This restaurant has an outdoor area as well with a cute little fireplace. We ordered some appetizers and sides in addition to our main dishes. Their lobster mac and cheese and their mushroom plate were super delicious. My rib-eye steak was amazingly delicious! They also gave me a small delicious cake for my birthday.

Semi pricey but worth it for the quality and flavors. The options for fine dining in this area is very limited, so since we were staying here, we just decided to stay on property for dinner, but truth be told, we didn’t pay for this meal; my company did. For what the bill ended up being, I think it was worth it bc not only was the food really tasty and the quality outstanding, but the portions were also big. I hate fine dining only to think of what you will have to eat after you leave. Six Peaks really delivers. After three cocktails, a bottle of wine, a shared salad, two platters of focaccia, a shared app, a shared side, two sizeable entrees and a shared dessert, the bill was $425 after tax and tip. Again, semi pricy, but really worth it. This sounds like a lot of food, and it IS! Service was OK. Our waiter was nice and knowledgeable, but he wasn’t very attentive. If he was attentive and I wasn’t wondering where he was half the time, I would’ve given this place five stars. Service was not bad by any means, I just think for a high clientele, we should’ve been given more attention.

It was great to have the restaurant on site. We reserved a table for 5.30 and it was quiet, we were seated with a beautiful view. You are paying a premium for the location but I thought the cocktails were a little overpriced at $22. The Mac and cheese was lobster and was the best dish we had. The filet and other dishes was what I would expect for a steak house. I imagine if you go at a busy time it could be loud and slower service as they seemed short staffed but could also be time of year. I was between a 4 and 5 star but in my opinion higher than 4.

We reserved Six Peaks Grille for our anniversary dinner and I would say everything was perfect. For drinks we had KT22 and Emigrant Peak. Since they knew it was our wedding anniversary we were served a couple of complimentary champagne as well. For starter we had Little Gem Salad Lettuces and Skillet Bread with butter. For the main course we had 14 Oz. Grilled Niman Ranch Rib Eye with a side of Four Cheese Mac & Cheese. My wife got Oven Roasted Mary's Chicken with a side of Truffle Fries. For desert we shared a Rhubarb Crumble with a couple of Cappuccino coffees. Now it's time to appreciate the staff who were very attentive, friendly provided a top notch service. Michelle made sure we get a table by the window, she checked a few times to make sure were well taken care of and everything was to our preferences. Our server was Sophia she was very nice, friendly, attentive and always smiled. Karen the bartender not only she made the best drinks she even came out to take our pictures in the outdoor seating area as were waiting for our food.

Very expensive. Very short staffed. Karen the bartender was also the hostess and server. She did a great job. Required a reservation. Very nice view of the mountains. Sea Bass, scallops, and chicken were very savory good. I’d come back for steak at another time as there was a wide selection on the menu.

Dinner at Six Peaks Grille was certainly the best meal that I have had in this area. The restaurant currently features an appropriate sized menu, featuring multiple cuts of steaks, and other meat dishes including scallops, chicken, duck, lamb, and pork. There is also a number of sides and appetizers to order as well. The plating for all of the dishes was lovely, and the hamachi specifically has a dish that reminds me of a style dish ware used at high end sushi restaurants. The most interesting part about this dish was what I can best describe as yuzu marinated fish roe. It had that same popping texture, but gave a delicious citrus flavor. The filet was actually very tasty, which was nice, as I often find some filet to be tender and lacking flavor. The Mary’s Crispy Skin Chicken was my dish of choice, as I was craving something other than steak. One main point of note is that there was no crispy skin present in this dish. However, the chicken was very tender and juicy all the way through, and it was served with an interesting and rich curry like sauce. I think the dish was good, but it would have been much better if it was served hot, at temperature. In fact, that is a common theme with my entire parties dinner. Either the plating warmers were ineffective or the kitchen did a bad job with plating at temperature, because not a single dish that the people at my table got was hot. Everything was either warm, or flat out cold. It seems that this last issue, and the slow dining experience, is certainly attributable to an understaffed restaurant. However, kudos to the kitchen for churning out tasty dishes, despite the temperature problems.

One of the best meals I had in a very long time. As a personal staple, and something I measure at every restaurant I try for the first time, I got the 28 day dry aged Rib-eye and their Six Peaks Caesar. Both were truly delicious and would get the again in a heart beat. Typically requiring reservations, we were able to walk in while staying at the resort and get an amazing next to the window with a view of the valley and mountains at sunset as we ate our dinner.

My wife treated me to a birthday dinner here on our trip to Tahoe. We came here based on the rave reviews and this place did not disappoint. My wagyu was well portioned, flavorful, and tender. The lobster mac and cheese was amazing! My wife loved her fillet mignon, lobster tail, and asparagus. The birthday dessert of melted-marshmallow topped chocolate lava cake paired with graham cracker dusted vanilla ice cream was amazing 😋 the mountain margarita is a must-try, and the bartender prepared it perfectly. Special shout out to our server Amber who provided outstanding customer service and was very knowledgeable about the menu and things to do in Tahoe!

I went there on a company event, so we had a catered menu, with all amazing food. The plating was very classy, and beyond anything I expected. There was a shrimp appetizer with with a syringe to pour yuzu sauce, and it came with avocado puree and crumbled feta. The combination was just perfect! There was also a grilled peach dish which looked amazing but I didn't get to try. The gnocci was a slight disappointment. They had a chicken pasta dish, and the chef was more than willing to cook me some chicken and veggies only since I couldn't have the pasta part. Chicken was very fresh!

Taste was phenomenal.... portions were tiny and prices were higher then typical ski resorts. That one piece of chicken was 18$ granted it was a kids chicken.

Beautiful views, fantastic food, and excellent service. The local wine selection was fantastic and the food was exceptional.

We went here while staying nearby on vacation because we wanted an upscale restaurant. The food is excellent but the service is just normal, nothing outstanding. Our waiter forgot one of our starters and insisted he didn't hear us but he did repeat it when reciting our choices so that was odd. We dined on a Thursday in Oct and there was only one other table occupied so that was a little depressing. The menu is somewhat limited but it covered the usual meats and did have a vegetarian option. I had the mac and cheese as a side which is heart attack inducing so I do not recommend. The green salad, ribeye, asparagus and scallops were wonderful. Overall I do recommend this restaurant if you are tired of pub food in the Palisades area. It is pricey but on par with what I would pay for a comparable restaurant in any bigger city. There is only valet parking on the premises and reservations are required.

Be able to book a table from open table. Foie gras is pretty tasty. The scallop little bit salty but feels good. blanc de Blancs is good as always.

Great service, you can see that there is many servers on training for hospitality programs. I had the tomatoes and burrata salad and it was just perfect. Prices are a bit high but that is to be expected in a Resort. They have a nice outdoor fire and blankets.

So happy with the service we got last night. Upscale atmosphere, stunning mountains views and delicious steaks! We also had our 7 year old in tow and after a long day of boarding was a bit tired and cranky. Our waiter was so patient and snuck me a note half way through dinner asking for permission to bring out a complimentary ice cream for him. We appreciated his kindness very much. Our dinners were amazing and waiter gave excellent menu recommendations. Lovely experience!
