Le Chamois is one of the most well-known places to grab a drink after a long day of skiing at Palasides Tahoe. It's no frills like most of the best apres spots at ski mountains, but this place is a must visit to refresh and recharge! It was very crowded on the occasion that we stopped by. The service was still excellent.

Such a fun loft bar! Decor is so nice and ski-themed, which is EXACTLY what I want when coming in after a day of skiing! None of this normal bar nonsense. Good beer, nice atmosphere.
Kinda weird that they had individual bathrooms that were gender-specific. I did appreciate that they had free tampons in the women’s at least. Doing good work 👏
Absolutely packed. A mad house, but if you're looking for a classic post ski drinking extravaganza at 8,000 ft you're in the right place. The pizza is pretty good. Obviously the pitcher prices are unreasonable, but you're at a ski resort what do you expect. Dress warm because once the sun sets it gets very cold!
Definitely a locals crowd. Best on a spring day when the patio is warm and apres ski crown large. Buy a 20 punch beer card in advance saves you $1 per beer making price $5 premium beer and $4 for Bud. Inside bar is small and crowded and full of dudes. Locals love this place.
Definitely the aprés ski place to go. You'll find plenty of people enjoying a beer or glass of wine on the patio when the weather is nice. The food is typical bar food. If you go low on mountain run (between KT22 and Squaw One lifts) and ski around the Olympic house you can ski right up to the patio assuming the snow coverage is good. Dogs are welcome on the patio and tend to roam free.
Good apre spot. Some really good pizza. Make sure to try the Olympic!
A good time every time for die-hards, partiers, families, and four-legged friends. No visit to Palisades is complete without a stop here.
The Chammy is the best place at the base of Squaw to get a slice of pizza and share some beers with your friends after an epic day skiing at Squaw Valley!

After a long day of skiing, what I really need is a place to drink beer and stand around and talk about how great skiing is and drink beer, and for that there is the Chamois and it is good.
This place is so many things to do many people. Be cool, patient and respectful. And have the best time!
A great place. If you wanna feel like a local swing by the Chamois and grab a drink but leave the white sunglasses at home

A must for every squaw skier or anyone visiting...it's a club house designed for those that love skiing/boarding and Squaw Valley.
The loft is a great place to moon the crowd outside. The pizza is pretty tasty, too.
