Review Cornice Cantina - Olympic Valley

Andrew Frank
It’s a solid last resort when the other bars at Squaw are closed. There’s been a fight almost every time I’ve been there, so that’s fun. One time some guy from Sacramento that was in town for Spartan Race asked me if I knew where he could buy Molly. I said I didn’t do drugs, but probably Cantina. I saw him later that night, and he was flying high so I guess it worked out.

Carnitas tacos decent Don't forget to ask for your "shifter" (PBR) first one of the day $1:00 such a deal !! Dwarf tossing was awesome and hopefully they will continue it ;) it's such a kick to send a dwarf flying !! Highly recommend dwarf tossing on Saturdays

My favs are the fish tacos. Order them during the happy hour. The portions will be a little smaller and you'll save a couple bucks.

Good beer. Nice local crowd. Families too. Great service. Funky but eclectic.

Great spot to unwind in the sun, outside of the hustle and bustle of "new" Squaw Valley (not that their is anything wrong with the new village) a completely different vibe and food that satisfies....and maybe a beer or three

Watched cops get laughed off of the premise. Enjoyed the whiskey. Tiny, dark, local bar - just the way I like it.

Great place to hang after skiing. Way less crowded than the other restaurants in the village.

True locals bar in the parking lot at Squaw if you on't want to hang with the tourists in "The Village" Nothing special food & drink wise but again, it's just about the local vibe...

Gotta try the wings.. and the Tuesday bartender is very cool and charming

Good little hole in the wall for a drink. Was there in a Tuesday and they had a guy on guitar. There were only about 8 people there around 10pm. I was told that when everything else closes...they go there:) I recommend checking it out if your up here!

Everything on the menu is killer, great margaritas, and a fun crowd.

Bar tenders and wait staff always friendly and take care of you with courtesy. Do not, DON'T have the misfortune of eating there if the owner is preparing the food, he's a shoe maker and could careless what he puts out and will try and justify the trash he serves. Shoe maker: an industry term for a cook that turns anything they touch into leather, a hack serving subpar product.

Awesome food, great location, and great service! Recommend the fish tacos and carne asada burrito.
