Comfortable Casual Homestyle Cuisine Perfectly located in the Old Market on the corner of 12th and Jones. The decor: Very Traditional German style, bright yellow, tasteful and modest, inviting. The service: I was promptly greeted and placed my order. About 5 minutes later my Sloppy Joe on a Fresh Honey Bun was served.(Refer to my photos) About two minutes later I was presented with my check.. This seemed rude to bring out check so soon...A Very un-European move. The Food: The sloppy joe was a good hearty sandwich. Slightly sweet, not too salty. The big steak fries tasted like frozen fries anyone could by at walmart. The bakery items looked delicious but will save that for next time. Overall it was good hearty lunch but I won't get the steak fries next time. If this review was helpful please click the like button.

The Eggs Benedict was super yummy (eggs were scrambled, so don't expect over easy)! Don't expect cheap prices either (as I'm sure their impressive location has to be paid for), but do expect deliciousness that's worth the price! We also had macaroons for the first time and they were impressive! We are those before I got a photo. 😅 TIPS: * Order at the counter. * If you're looking for crepes, ask. We didn't see them anywhere on the menu so we didn't order them, but on my way to the restroom there was a big photp of them. * After you order, you get your own drinks. * They have very clean, single person bathrooms (but separate for "M" & "W").

Wheatfields used to be one of my fav breakfast spots in downtown, but I feel like service has slipped. First, you have to queue up to order food and get a table number, diy drinks and then find a free table. At least, there are some outdoor tables. Then, the poor servers have to run around trying to find the right table number to deliver your food. It's a poorly designed system. The food is good, but really not worth the hassle. I'd honestly rate it a 3.5.

Cute little spot to grab a bite on your way through town. The breakfast burritos are massive but mostly filled with potatoes. I've never seen anything quite like that before but maybe that's just a Midwest thing?

I ordered the Avacodo Toast. The toast is topped with spicy guacamole, sliced avacados and scrambled eggs with salsa on the side. I ordered minus the guacamole and salsa, but it came with both. I just wasn't wanting the spicy, however, it wasn't very spicy and tasted wonderful! The salsa was a nice touch with the eggs. The avacados tasted perfect! Ordered a Mimosa to drink.

The Kielbasa sausage is good. I wish I had known the Brûlée potatoes were hash brown cut instead of cubed potatoes. Friendly service!

Lots of good stuff on the menu. Too bad I can't try it all, but I'll be back. The crepes were great!

Service was friendly and quick! Good selection of food. Servings were ginormous, my sister and I could have shared. Food was delicious! We had a special of chicken tenders with fries and pie (strawberry rhubarb! We enjoyed sangria--the pitcher was a bit too much for us though worth the money compared to individual glasses! We highly recommend it!
