My favorite downtown restaurant. The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. You can't beat the ambiance in the Old Market Passageway. Also, love that they take reservations.

Tucked away in The Old Market Passage is the Old Market's best hidden gem and my personal favorite restaurant in Omaha. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is sublime. Dine in an alleyway full of plants life, sunlight, art galleries, and a few small local shops. Highly recommend the nachos and the puffy tacos!!

I got the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything was really good, though it would have been so much better had the enchiladas been made with corn tortillas rather than flour. It just felt like very white people Mexican food. Also, chips and salsa are a purchase, not complimentary. I feel like chips and salsa should be part of the experience. I do love that it's in the Passageway!

Great spot in the old market to sit down and catch an inexpensive meal. Fish tacos were great! Drinks were weak, though.

They have really good food! The only disappointment was that the chicken nachos are really just chips sprinkled with cheese and shredded chicken. The rest of the food ordered was amazingly flavorful and filling! The Big Juan had us all giggling for hours as my husband brought it up again and again, but it's surprisingly delicious (and it is large) for such a simple name!

We had a little party for my wife, and the service was fast, and our server was amazing! We were there a little after closing due to our party starting at 830, but they didn't rush us out of there. I had the fish tacos, and my wife had the nachos, and we were impressed and will be back for sure! Highly recommend!

I love it here :) every time I’m in town I come here for the beef enchiladas smothered in the pork green Chile sauce and the happy hour margaritas. I love sitting “outside” amongst all the plants. The service is always super friendly and speedy too!

Trini's is a cute little place with a nice atmosphere in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it basement of an old building. I enjoyed the food very much! I ordered a steak fajita platter. Service was fast and our server checked on us regularly. The food was plentiful, more on the platter than I could in my three tiny flour tortillas. The star is knocked off because they nickel and dime you for anything extra. You want sour cream? A dollar. You want guac? A dollar. You want chips and salsa with your meal? That will cost you too. Not your standard procedure for a Mexican restaurant.

It took me 8 years of living in Omaha to finally come check this super neat business out. The scenery is simply beautiful and a “must-visit” if you’re a tourist. The food was really good. My only complaint is that I usually prefer Mexican restaurants that offer complimentary chips and salsa rather than charging for it. But hey, capitalism right?

I love the puff tacos from here! It's one of my favorites in the area. Trini's is a hidden gem in the old market passageway. It's an extremely small space, I've normally gone in between meal times to avoid the crowd. The menu is designed to either pick an entrée or items Á la carte, which I appreciate. I dont always want a big, heavy meal. My favorite is the puff tacos and tostadas. And, of course a margarita to go with the meal. There are a few things to keep in mind. You do not automatically get chips and salsa for the table. You have to order it. The salsa is not the best I've had in town. Things like sour cream and jalapeño for your dish cost extra. If you've never been, I recommend giving it a try.

This was the best dinner we had on our long weekend trip! The service was amazing, food was spectacular, and the building itself was so cool! It was busy but they got us in quite quick and we never felt like we were waiting for service and also never felt rushed. The portions were just the perfect size and the price was very reasonable.

Initial review: Trinis is located inside the old market passageway. If you get to sit on the "patio" it's a very lovely open air atrium feel. Like being outside with all the plants and the outdoor brick, but it's always warm and comfortable. Inside the actual restaurant is much darker and cosier. I tried the chicken combo which included a chicken and black bean flauta, chicken and portabella enchilada with mushrooms as well as a chicken fajita 🌮 taco. Cost was any $15.50. My favorite item was the chicken which I would order. The fajita fixings had a good flavor but I personally found the shell a little too greasy for my taste. I would not order the flauta again. Its more a 3 🌟 food item for me. Service was very friendly and helpful. for dessert we had the deep fried banana with ice cream. Again I found this better to be exceptionally heavy in oil. It was difficult to cut with a spoon as the dough was very thick and not crisp. My friend seemed to really like it but I personally did not. Please note: this is one of the Mexican restaurants that do not give chips and salsa for free.

Only my 2nd time patronizing this establishment & I can say it definitely won’t be the last. 😱 Best & most tender fajitas I have ever ever ever wrapped my lips around. These are the things vegetarians’ dreams are made of. On the 6th day, when God created land animals, 🐄 he foresaw these fajitas & the enjoyment that would follow. 🎉 😋 The ambiance and the service were equally impressive. ❤️
