Years ago I was eating here and two tables over was Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. If they liked it, how couldn't I? One of the better OMA Italian restaurants...

September 19th we had our 50th wedding anniversary at Vincenzo's in Omaha.
Everything was wonderful; appetizers, dinners, drinks, and the service was superb.
We would absolutely suggest that you contact Vincenzo's for a special occasion party, everything was great and they were easy to deal with and helped plan everything perfectly.  Thank You All!

I stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday in July. I was actually surprised they were open. I glanced over and saw cars in their parking lot and so decided to take a closer look. Sure enough, the "Open" sign was lit. This place has been on my list of restaurants to try for quite some time. I just didn't think with it being a Monday (so many private restaurants are closed on Mondays), it being in West O (there's not much of a weekday lunch crowd west of 156th), and it being a full service Italian restaurant (notorious for serving dinner only) that it would be open. I'm glad it was as I finally got to try it.

I walked in and there was no one at the host stand. There were also no visible employees anywhere to notice me standing there. After a couple of minutes one of the managers appears from the back and seated me. He was nice enough and I requested a booth and he happily complied. The host also took my drink order and brought me an iced tea.

I then proceeded to sit there for about 10 minutes before my waitress finally appeared. She didn't even apologize for the wait. The iced tea I had to keep me company during my wait tasted off. Hard to say why. I'm not sure if it was burnt somehow or perhaps whatever device they use for brewing it needs a thorough cleaning. I've tasted that exact same off taste at other restaurants. It's usually not a consistent problem and is just an off batch, but it can be quite unpleasant when you take a big gulp of what you're hoping is refreshing fresh brewed iced tea. A refill later on tasted fine.

I ordered the Salsiccia & Peppers (spicy Italian sausage link with roasted peppers and onions, tossed in marinara, and served over spaghetti). It was good. The sausage was good and not terribly spicy. The roasted peppers were a mixture of red and green bell peppers. I don't care for the green. Their color dulls when they're cooked and then they look unappetizing in food. They should just go with all red. The sauce did taste a little flat, but if you manage to get a bite of the sausage in every mouthful you hardly notice. The spaghetti seemed a bit dry. I would imagine that's because they were holding it poorly in the back.

My entrée came with a choice of soup or salad. The soup was Tomato Basil. I opted for a Caesar Salad (small up-charge). The salad was okay. Overall, a pretty average Caesar salad. They also serve complimentary bread rolls with butter. They were good, but typical of brown-n-serve rolls purchased from a wholesaler. There's no baking happening here. I was pleased they didn't offer me some olive oil and herb concoction. That has gotten to be quite gimmicky at Italian restaurants.

There was only one wait person working the entire restaurant. She had 6 tables when I got there and each table had 3 to 6 customers. You'd think the manager would come out of the back to help wait tables and to make sure the customers were getting the level of service they expected. Apparently not.

Overall, an okay restaurant. The food is nothing spectacular, but it's not bad either. Service could be improved. I might stop back to try something else, but I am in no hurry to do so.

I love this restaurant for dinner and recently had a brunch in Sunday. I had the frittata and it was the best! The eggs were super fluffy and the potatoes were awesome. My friend had the grand marnier French toast which was amaze balls!!

Good food reasonable prices. Went there for the first time Saturday night with a group of friends. Everybody loved their entrees, from the Salmon Raspberry Salad to the Cannelloni and Ravioli. I had their Salmon Soto. The salmon was cooked just right, there were lots of mushrooms and cheese and it was terrific. The antipasto plate is big enough to be an entrée or feed an entire table. It's a little far from my neighborhood, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

New location, still pretty good. Of all the good Omaha restaurants (and there are many), Vincenzo's is where we most often return.

I'm hooked on the picatta dishes while my wife has never been disappointed with her pasta choices. Most recently the seafood soup (with shrimp) was excellent.

Still miss the old location, though.

Gustatory. Tuesdays is half price wine. Wish they would extend that to their higher priced bottles. Good food, good portions, enough to continue to enjoy the next day.

Great experience. After numerous recent visits, the original Vincenzo's at 144th and Blondo has become our new favorite local spot for Italian dining. Very comfortable with attentive service and reasonable prices. I loved the Chicken Parmigiana and my wife raved about the Baked Cannelloni. And they have 1/2 priced bottle wine on Tuesday evenings.

Om nom nom. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Wait staff was excellent. One of my favorite places here. Skip the chain italian places and go here...you won't be dissapointed.

The menu had a good range of traditional pastas, steak & chicken options, as well as baked pastas and salads. I was tempted by the spinach salad, but figured I only turn __ once. I dove into my meatless options and ordered the scallops farfalle. While usually not a gorgonzola fan, the sauce was perfect - creamy yet not too heavy, full of flavor yet paired well with the rest of the components. It was seasoned just right. My only complaint was that they didn't really mix the spinach in with everything; it sort of sat in a clump under some of the pasta. Matt got baked manicotti & cannelloni; while I chose not to taste, I believe him when he said it was great and filling.

So many good dishes here: the potato and sausage soup, bruschetta, cheesy garlic bread, the chicken rosemarino, and the canoli were all great. Our servers were awesome as well, they were quick and very helpful with the menu explanations!

We stopped in for a birthday lunch and had never been before. There were only 2 other families in the restaurant, so it wasn't busy at all. We did have to wait a little bit for someone to notice us waiting to be seated, but I'll say it was because they were short staffed this particular day/time (holiday weekend). We ordered the toasted ravioli combination to start. We didn't know we were served all beef ravioli until they brought out the cheese ravioli after catching their mistake. I would recommend both ravioli. The marinara didn't seem to have the right consistency, but it was still good. We ordered the manicotti and cannelloni for our main meals. Both were very tasty. The dishes had good flavor and remained hot the whole meal. We weren't expecting them to be so filling and could only eat half of them. We then had a slice of tiramisu for dessert to share. If you're not a coffee person, this tiramisu is for you. It's a very different tiramisu, but it was delicious! I could eat it for days. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu! The food was delicious and the drinks (we had cocktails) were delicious as well. The atmosphere was romantic and quite spread out! We definitely found a great place to frequent on date nights!

There are a steady flow of people in & out during Friday night dinner hours. We were seated fairly quick (even though they said about 15 min); there’s a minimal waiting time while they were cleaning table. People who works here moved fast & always on the move. Service was excellent, friendly & courteous. Ordered 2 pasta dish & antipasto as appetizer, it was so so for us. The soup of the day (seafood chowder) was excellent.

Classic Italian. The cheesy garlic bread was good. The Mahi Franco had a bit too much breading, but good taste. The shrimp stuffed imbottito with crab was ok. I added fresh garlic, which spiced it up. Kevin makes a great baked Alaska

I came in looking like a Ruffian and was treated like royalty by Miriam! I cannot say enough how amazing this restaurant is. Opened in 1993 and as a first time visitor I wish I had visited before. The big name restaurants have nothing on this. My food is absolutely delicious and so unexpected. Great bread, best house salad with homemade dressings I wish I could bottle up and take home. The red potatoes my wife had were fabulous. I got the vegetables and they can probably make a meatatarian change their diet! The ambiance is so relaxing. I am just loving it all. Pictures, lighting, music, and colors set the mood. Very romantic. Do yourself a favor, life is short don’t miss this opportunity! There is a bar if your interested in that sort of thing.

I've not been to Vincenzos in many years. I remember it being good. This visit was even better than my memory. The food was fantastic and so was the service! Kevin, our waiter, was awesome and engaging. When we first arrived, the parking lot was nearly full (7pm on a Tuesday!). We found a spot and prepared ourselves for a long wait. Not so. They told us 10 minutes tops and I'm not sure it was even that long before getting seated. So don't let a nearly full lot scare you away. They have a lot of seating. Got Calimari for an appetizer. mmm. The house special was Chicken Cacciatore with spicy Italian sausage, which had a really nice heat to it. Loved it and will get again. The Fettuccine Alfredo was very good too. Last but in no way least by a long shot, Tiramisu for dessert. Might well be the best I've ever had. Absolutely wonderful experience!

We ate at Vincenzo's on a Tuesday and lucky for us Tuesday is half price WINE night. So we decided to enjoy some vino with our meal. The meal was amazing all on its own. Our server Kevin was engaging and fun. His recommendation of the tiramisu, was spot on (the best we have ever tasted). The dishes my party ordered were Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo and Chicken Cacciatore with Spicy Sausage (the special of the night). My sister and I split the Big Vinny Combo. The severing size was good and the flavor was excellent. Kevin told us to come back on Thursday for Flaming Dessert night. We will be there!

We will definitely go back! The toasted ravioli and the garlic bread are to die for. Probably, I will be dreaming about that garlic bread until I go back again 😂. Our server, Kristin accommodated my request to replace the pasta with something else and offered me a side sauce as well. I would give this place a 5 stars but the lady organizing the seating was unprofessional and acted rude. My husband and I were at the front of the line waiting to be seated and the lady asked who was here first? so my husband said us, she ignored us and looked at the couple behind us and they pointed at us and told her that we were here first. She did not want to take our words .. that was extremely rude and unprofessional, happened today 03/19 around 6:15 - 6:20 pm or so. I wish she was wearing a name badge so I can report her to management. I did not want to raise my voice or say something rude because she was an older lady, out of respect. I hope that will not happen again to us or to any other people.

I’m sure the Italian food is terrific there, but we had a delicious fillet, and it was out of this world! And I have no words to describe how good the bruschetta was. Great place to go for dinner, and our server was excellent!

Every time I visit, this place is usually where I have gathering's with my family. Every time we do, the service is amazing and the food is superb. The bread that they offer here is my personal highlight and I always want to take more home with me, which luckily, my family always makes sure that I get my take-out bread. The atmosphere and the service is always amazing and incredibly relaxing, especially since these gatherings are usually always held once I'm off of work, and it feels so welcoming and cozy here. Every time we have these gatherings, I'm always excited to make the trip to come out to Vincenzo's! ^.^
