My family loves Voodoo Taco. If you want a taco for a buck, go south one block to Taco Bell. If you want something unique, with great flavor, this is your place. Since opening, they no longer have the nearly one-hour wait times (we did wait last year). They have also slightly reduced the number of different tacos available, but still offer quite a large variety. There are also more kid-friendly offerings, like chicken strips and French fries. I don't like the fact that you have to pay separately at the bar for alcohol, but that is my biggest complaint. We eat here at least twice a month, and sometimes weekly.
Really dug this place when I dropped in a couple weeks ago. I only had two tacos, both were solid in their flavor profiles and construction. The alligator sausage was my least favorite, though that's because it tastes like an alligator/pork blend, and the porkiness took over. I wish they had fried alligator tacos, that would be the best. Anyway, if you're out at Nebraska Crossing, give them a go.
Well designed and ran Cajun/Taco Fusion restaurant. Unique spins on tacos with a generally Cajun theme. There is also the tacos of the month which has ranged from the now permanent addition of the Fish and Chips taco based on British cuisine to the absolutely wonderful Bulgogi Taco that they had one month.
That said there are still a few minor details that they will hopefully be able to work out in time, but are generally understandable with being a new business. Have had issues in the past with received a different sauce dish than the one ordered or having it not come out with the taco. A good option for that I think would be to have them on display on a rack at the front counter and you just grab whichever one you want at the time you order at a 1 per taco rate.
Prices are slighly on the high side compared to what you get, but aren't unreasonable by any means. Certain tacos might benefit from a small price drop. Some of themore exotic ones like the alligator taco for example though are more than understandable, and in some cases are actually cheap considering how expensive the meat used can be.
Overall a pretty good restaurant that looks to have a promising future as long as they keep heading down the road they are going.
I have been to the Aksarben Village and Outlet Mall locations, this location is much bigger, but it is not the best location. Food was good, service is severely lacking. The person behind the counter spent several minutes discussing what the "pink drink" was with another customer, not acknowledging out presence. Food was tasty, but we both got a very small slice of avocado on our Barbados tacos. We asked about the size and we're told it was normal. They forgot our order of guac and chips until we asked. The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 3 is because they gave us the guac we ordered in addition to the incorrect guac order we originally received.
One of my favorite places in town. If you like hot spicy food then this place is for you. It might seem a little expensive but for the different flavors I think it is worth it. Great place. If you want hot be sure and ask for it to be dusted.

An Omaha original! The tacos seem a little pricey until you see what's on them- all fresh ingredients, decent portion sizes, and an array of one-of-a-kind fill options like alligator and hand-marinated barbacoa.
Hands down the best taco joint in Omaha. The queso seriously gets better every time I visit. Make sure to go to this location for the bottomless chips!
"What? A new taco place in Omaha? We already have a ton of that stuff!" you exclaim upon hearing about the emergence of yet another taco source in town.
But Vodoo taco just isn't that type of taco. Voodoo taco is something of "alternative" tacos, instead of just beef, lettuce, some cheese, and spicy sauce meant for the tongues of los gringos, it's anything from alligator sausage (yes, alligators) to salmon tacos to portobella mushroom tacos or short rib. And a selection of sauces, with ome being -actually spicy-.
And now that they've opened they've started experimenting with new tacos, I believe there's some sort of new asian taco on the menu as well. This kind of stuff is what Omaha desperately needed, and they were able to deliver when I went there. Definitely worth going back to.
Soooo Good. Hands down the best tasting newest spin on a taco. Are u kidding me Fish and Chips taco is outta this world! Everyone must try! I heard second location opening soon @ new outlet mall...highly recomend.
Can go in for cocktails, date night, or even bring the kids in! Always a good time! Very friendly and food is Sooooo addictive! A must-try! Get your Voodoo on!

Queso is the best in town, hands down.
Wicked Good Margarita ... 😊😊😊
Best tacos in town. If Charlie is there, your experience will be unforgettable! Amazing place.
Truly unique Cajun Mexican fusion food and an amazing local success story. Loved their food from the beginning.
Great freaking tacos!! Not really mexican but a great spin on it. The chips and salsa are to die for!
The word gourmet needs to be used more liberally in describing the overall experience. Outstanding all around.
