Overall I had a good experience on my first visit to Boyd and Charlie's. I ordered the St Louis ribs, the cornbread pudding, and the beans. The side dishes were adequate. I like the concept of the cornbread pudding. I've been to a many BBQ joints in KC and across the country and I've never seen it as a side before. The beans were seasoned and a little bit on the salty side I'd like to taste a little more depth of flavor to give the beans a higher rating though. The ribs: The ribs had a nice smokey flavor. The service was very good. I don't know what the waitress's name was, but she was very friendly and attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Fantastic food, value, quality, service. Nacho, brisket, fritters, sweet potato coins, ribs all tasty. Only thing off bama beans. Such timely turn of table.
we started with the pork nachos. They are absolutely delicious! We ended up sharing ribs and they too did not disappoint! The flavor and tenderness was perfect! The service was on point, not intrusive or overbearing. Will be going there again for sure!
The meet really melt in the mount!! Happy and friendly staff and good food. Detail: the wine! The wine remember me the Argentina. I love it!
If I could give this place more stars I would. What s a great place to eat! Chicken nachos were great and the dinners are just the right amount of food. Have to try the baked beans, Cole slaw, potato salad and macaroni salad. The meat options are all fantastic!
Very reasonable prices and the food was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
last minute family dinner gathering. stopped into B&C at 2pm to place order. they pulled it together by 5:30 so I could pickup. the food was just delicious. we shared corn fritters, onion petals & fried pickles. I had BBQ smoked wings & they were perfect. everyone raved about their food. cookies & root beer was a great ending. thank you Boyd & Charlies!

Came here on a whim after a long afternoon of tubing, and it was not too bad.
All the meat was really well cooked and soft and tender.
I got the smoked turkey sandwich with the bun and no tomato. The turkey was really soft and just simply seasoned. Neither salty nor bland even by itself. It went perfectly with that dressing that they had on there. I have no idea what it was, but the combination of it all in the sandwich was really good.
My fiance got the big meat special with the smoked pulled chicken. It was a very loaded burger and the grilled onions went well there. He added the spicy barbecue sauce - that sauce actually was a good blend of sweet and spicy and the hint of mango actually came through!
My brother actually got two burgers, and finished and liked them both. He got fries for the side.
Fiance and I both got side salads and also a big order of a main salad. Italian dressing was good for the salad but overall the salad itself was very plain. Iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and croutons - ready subpar for the cost. I was hoping they would at least have romaine.
They also didn't have any vegetable items on the menu at all, so there was no option to add any vegetable to the salad. Dropped a star for that.
People also not at all happy with the service. Server kept rushing us to make a decision and order, and didn't even let us finish our entire order. Kept prompting and asking if we were done, and warning is that this would be too much food. (4 burgers with sides and 2 big salads for 3 people)

We were in the upstairs party room and it was fantastic. The room was perfect. The food was delicious and Tammi took great care of us all. I highly recommend the party room if you need one.
First time in. The Server explained everything and made suggestions. The brisket sandwich was really good. Burnt ends were quite tasty. Definitely try the corn fritters and Sam's Bama Beans.
Haven't had a bad meal yet been here 3 or 4 times now which I know isn't a lot but so many places to try for different cuisines that the wife and I are doing but Absolutely 100% recommend Boyd and Charlie's fantastic BBQ
We stopped in bc we wanted some barbecue without breaking the bank. This service was great. The food was fantastic. The price was unbeatable. We will be back again!!
This was the best meal and service I have ever had in the Omaha area! We will be back again and again. What a great first experience!
Their ribs are good, but their desserts are the best!!! If they happen to have cheese cake, order it, because it is to die for!!!
had the barbecued pork burnt ends, and they were delicious. Staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. Located in downtown Elkhorn, it’s a cool spot to visit.
This place is never a disappointment. Always some of the most delicious food and the best customer service ever. These guys are always Johnny on the spot, and you never have to wait long for anything... from the food, drinks, and check. Will be back for sure for some great food. If you are looking for some ribs they sell them by the rack and you can take them home and heat them up in the next few days and always a great dinner when you don't want to cook.
Came in for lunch with my parents. They always have daily specials. Had ribs and fries, parents had brisket sandwiches with cole slaw. Decently priced, quick service and delicious! Should have got a rack of ribs to go. Cool part of Elkhorn if you've never been there too.
