Fantastic!! El Rancho was served at my daughters wedding reception and it was delicious! We had chicken, steak and pork with flour and corn tortillas. Bean and rice were included as well as i think 6 kinds of salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. So so much food for the price! I people asking me all night long who the food was! They do not deliver but I would do it again in a heart beat it was so good! Thank you El Rancho and Ivette for the wonderful food! πππ
This is my go to restaurant for many years! I used to take my sons there when they were toddlers and I still order carry out and delivery from them very frequently! The law office I work for has also used them to feed our tribe and I cannot say enough great things about the food and its quality. I absolutely love their fresh waters of Cucumber and Pineapple and definitely recommend and tell everyone about this south o gem.
Excellent authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos with handmade flour tortillas were amazing. They are served with cilantro and onions on top as well as sliced radish and limes on the side. The sopes with pork were also very good. They were a good size and two was filling. We also tried a chicken enchilada with green salsa. While it was good, it wasn't nearly as good as the tacos or sopes. My three year old loved her dinosaur chicken nuggets. They were fried and actually not too bad. When you first sit down, they bring out a sampler of five different salsas with chips. They tasted fresh and each one was very good ranging from mild to hot. Do yourself a favor and skip the margarita. There was too much mix and very little tequila. The first one was ok enough to order another, but the second was hard to get down because the mix flavor was so overpowering and it was terrible. Our waitress was great and all in all it was a great lunch!

The staff is very friendly, the food is outstanding, and the menu is pretty simple because this is comfort food done right and that's not complicated. The homemade salsas and pickles that are served with tortillas are a good indicator of how much they care. Everything we've had has been excellent, but their tamales are pretty amazing. The masa and filling have always been perfect, neither dry nor greasy. Highly recommend this place for great Mexican food.
We were driving around South O looking for a place to eat on Monday and just about everything was closed but El Rancho.
Stopped in and were very impressed. The service was great. Food came out quick and it was very good . We live out west but we'll be back.

We have ordered delivery a few times and are always amazed at how wonderfully "extra" the order is: salsas, limes, chips, chicharonnes, radish, cilantro, etc... The nachos were amazing and other entrees too. Love this place!
Great little place to eat. Our waitress was great and recommended the tacos. I would have to say that the beef burrito was my fav but tacos were delicious too! My kids had quesadillas and they said they were the best they've ever had, and that's saying something! The beans were just ok and the chips to but everything else was pretty good. Would definitely go back.
Always great food and a nice variety on the menu! One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in Omaha. Never disappoints.
Okay so I want to leave a review because I have been here so many times in the past few years but forgot to. Door dashed this today and it's time I do one. First of all, the way even though we bought it through door dash. They still sent us all the salsas and chips. Way to go on that. Second of all , we ordered the Gorditas. We ordered chorizo, Barbacoa, Al pastor , Nopales and asada. Each meat was done perfect and so flavorful but my all time favorite and the one I will go with every single time I visit , is the Barbacoa. The way the meat absorbed all the juices was truly an experience I was not expecting one bit. Mix that with there fresh garden salsa and the orange one for a kick and some sour cream, wooooooo weeeeeee. It was on another level. I would recommend this to anyone anytime and we will be back many times over. You all did amazing and keep the traditional flavor of Mexican food alive in Omaha. Wish I could give yall 6.
Omaha has many great Mexican restaurants and this is the best. Complimentary chips & salsa feature homemade tortilla chips and five different salsas. The Cubano was fresh and delicious. Great place!
Food and service are great. The atmosphere can be improved especially the lights. Otherwise recommend.
For $12 beef Fajitas not a bad deal. There was not much meat, but the vegetables in the dish were hot and tasty and price was good. Tortilla, though hand made was not what I am used to. Guess us healthy version with less lard and more baking soda. Sauses were more taco like than Fajita like. No cheese, pico de gallo or guacamole. Not what I am used to in Colorado or Texas, but still good deal for the price.

One of my top picks for sit down tacos. The salsa tray is impressive and tasty. The tacos were delicious and I love how they give you a frozen mug for beers.
Great Mexican cusine. You get a huge tray of condiments sauces/vegies to go with great chips. Had lunch $4.99 4 beef tacos..excellent.! Have visited about 5 times..never disappointed.
