I am not just giving 5 stars to every category because the food was good; literally everything was amazing, even the bathrooms. Scratch-made food with locally sourced ingredients, the flavors were beyond my expectations. A romantic and inviting atmosphere with innovative lighting and great music. The manager made an effort to stop at every table to ensure all is well. Must try!

On a work trip, Timber Wood Fire Bistro was close to my hotel and at first glance, appeared to be original and a break from the expected chains...and I was right! The atmosphere is very classic and reminded me of being in Whistler, BC! Super classy without being stuffy. Very clean and fresh with a relaxed, cozy vibe. I had the Meatball and Rigatoni, and I was so very happily suprised! I'm debating I'd this was the very best pasta dish I've had, anywhere! The entire dish is homemade and tasted about as fresh as you can imagine. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the meatballs spectacular and plentiful, and the sauce! The sauce was a breath of fresh air! Spicy and a perfect consistency! Not thin and watery and not thick and pasty. It was excellent! I don't come to Omaha often, but will find an excuse just to come here again!

I rarely give a restaurant such praise, but this establishment hands down is the best restaurant in Nebraska. I don't say that lightly. The woodsmoked veggies alone blew our absolute minds off. The way they held their crunch, juiciness. It was memorable. The steak with the chimichuri was the star of the show. The focaccia with the ricotta truffle oil was out of this world. What can I say? I'm a sucker for outstanding service and food. The chefs deserve all the praises in the world the unsung heros of the night. Thank you chefs and servers for the memorable night. We will be coming back.

Food is fantastic. Large portions. Appetizers, meatballs and brussel sprouts were great, warm plate not my jam.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy and warm. The waiter was kind and attentive. Management stopped by to check on how our food was, which was nice. The food was excellent; dessert was fabulous as well. I would consider it fine dining, but definitely worth every penny. We look forward to going back. Highly recommended this local eat!

Had lunch on a Thursday afternoon. I had Timber Wood’s version of a Cubano. Instead of a bun they used their pizza dough to make the sandwich. It gave the sandwich a chewier texture. I really enjoyed it. And as always I enjoyed the fries.

Cute little spot in Omaha! They were very accommodating of our large group (9) with just an hour notice. My stepdad really enjoyed his flatbread and overall everything ordered was pretty dang good. However, the real star is the durum focaccia. This is hands down the best bread I've ever had at a restaurant. It comes with housemade ricotta and honey too. I'll be personally disappointed in you if you come here and don't get the focaccia. Seriously. It's that good.

Had my first visit at Timber Wood Fire Bistro and it did not disappoint! Located across the street from Westside High School, it has a cozy and homey interior. When you order, they bring over plates with a complimentary cinnamon roll for the table to share - it was a fun surprise & it was delicious! We ordered the breakfast tacos, the lox bagel and the steak and eggs. The breakfast tacos were so juicy and delicious!! The staff was friendly and the overall experience was great!

Wonderful staff, great service and fantastic food!! Even with nearly full restaurant, able to have two servers attending us. Maybe the bisque was just a bit watery.

Food was excellent. Server was excellent! Must try meatballs and homemade noodles with red sauce. Beef short ribs were melted in your mouth delicious. Overall we will be taking our friends and family there to eat.

The food was delicious and came out quickly. The service at the chef's table was slow for beverages and there were only 3 of us. Once we moved to the bar we had excellent service from the bartenders. Also, I asked about the cinnamon roll that my sister said would come with our brunch but we were never offered. The roll had been warmed to long and was chewy and inedible. I would return to give another try because the food was delicious and the price on the bottomless is fabulous.

Absolutely love Timber. It may be my favorite restaurant in Omaha, and there’s some competition. The food is always good, and their menu has something for everyone but not too much where you can’t decide. The warm bread with ricotta and honey is an awesome starter, even better if you get French onion soup as well. For dinner you can’t go wrong with a wood fired pizza, steak, or even the lamb burger. And the best, BEST, desert in the Metro is their cherry strudel.

In Omaha on business and read the reviews and decided to try it. We are so glad we made this decision! The food was excellent! We had 2 appetizers that were delicious. I had the lamb special and it was outstanding. My husband has the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Our server Samantha (also the bartender) was knowledgeable of the menu and made wonderful recommendations. Hats off to the kitchen staff, every dish was plated beautifully and was fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Wish I had taken pictures.

Really like this place. Found it by accident on my way to airport in a time crunch and they took care of me fast as they promised. Ordered Wedge Salad, Lamb Burger, Iced Tea. Wedge Salad was great. Lamb Burger was really good and made from a lot of Lamb Meat, so if you are sensitive to Lamb taste, this one definitely have it. But the jam and cheese (did not ask but I think it was goat cheese) was a great combination. If anything I would only change the bun to brioche but other than that great sandwich. I have to talk about the Iced Tea, bartender told me it was a local brand and I have to tell you it's one of the best Iced tea I have had, you could taste the flavor of the black tea leaves and it was very refreshing, I think I had like 4 refills on it. Good atmosphere and good food, I hope to get back soon when I am not in time crunch.

The food was truly delicious. However, the ratio of portions to price was way off. I ordered chicken and waffles and received three small pieces of chicken, and a half of a waffle (they really did taste great). While I'm grateful they attempted to help me with moderation and portion control, I wasn't really looking for that. I do recommend, but, just be aware that "waffles" is more of a suggestion than an actuality.

Seems like a not so hidden gem of Omaha. Timber was very accommodating to our 9 person group with a baby. They opened up a whole new room for us. Service was fast, polite, accurate. Coffee was definitely better than a lot of other brunch places. Great atmosphere too. The wood piles gave a nice cozy feel despite an open floor plan. The smell of the wood burning stove was great too. overall I would certainly come back here if given the chance. I got the Tinga and chicken tostada
