I don't know why anyone would go to subway or JJ's when there is Gandollfo's.

This was a very good place to go. The best part is the HUGE VARIETY as well as all the meat they put on the sandwiches, more than any other place around. VERY GOOD PLACE TO GO AND DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The menu is huge and hard to decide. I decided on the Yonker. It was a great sandwich. The highlight was the chocolate cake. It was the best ever! That homemade chocolate mousse is so divine. Went back the next day for 3 more.

There's a running joke in my household: whenever I order food, it always comes out wrong or incomplete. But for as many times as I've ordered from this Gandolfo's, that has NEVER happened! My order-- in addition to being entirely correct-- is always fresh, delicious, and made / wrapped with care. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the tastiest and most reliable sandwich spots in town! (Try the Big Apple. You won't regret it!)

I love this place. It is one of the best places here in Omaha to get a worthwhile breakfast sandwich and deli sandwiches. This is called the Crew. It has bacon, sausage, fried egg and cheese. They are made fresh and every bite is worth the wait.

Any time I'm in the area, i try to stop for a sammy. Let me say, that the I <3 new yorker was to die for! That pastrami is very very good, I almost enjoy it on the hero roll a but more. There are so so many choices to choose from from turkey to roast beef to breaded chicken to hotdogs, so take my word for it and stop on in and try a delicious sammy.

My first time I had a Lower East Side that was so good it was gone before I could remember to take a picture. The second time was a great breakfast sandwich that was also gone before I thought about my phone. This time I ordered a simple toasted bagel with a little butter and cream cheese on both sides…and what I got was gobs of butter and a smidge of cream cheese on one side. It was off, especially for a New York deli. C’mon, that’s an easy one. Even the tiny carts on every busy NY street corner rock that order. Disappointing. Soooo… double check your order.

I've been eating at Gandolfo's for several years now. I first discovered Gandolfo's by Baxter Arena, but have since eaten at all the locations. The food quality is always very high, filling, and delicious! On this particular day, I went with my dad and two of my older children. When you first walk into Gandolfo's, you'll notice the menu. It's massive - takes up the whole wall and must have at least 60-80 items or so. It's sorted by meat to make it easier, along with a recommendation on whether the sandwich is better hot or cold. You can also order all sandwiches as a 6" or a 12" (even though I think the sandwiches are bigger than that). Gandolfo's also allows you to make it a combo and add a chip, side, or dessert plus a drink. The sides vary but they have potato salad, a broccoli and cheddar salad, and others. On this trip, I got a cookie and everybody else took the chips. Even though I didn't get it this time, the salads are pretty good. My son got the Godzilla, a spicier sandwich which includes turkey, chicken breast, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, onions, mayo, and sriracha sauce. This is my son's and wife's go to order EVERY time they come. They never get anything different. It's weird (because of all the choices), but miraculous because the sandwiches are that good! My dad got the French dip, which comes with provolone, mayo, and au jus. Simple, but also pretty good. He actually couldn't finish it so I had some and it was good. Tender, juicy, with just the right amount of seasoning! I got the New Yorker, which actual was the first time I've ever gotten it, but it didn't disappoint either. It comes with roast beef, pepper jack, feta, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, butter, mayo, oil and vinegar (I removed the last two). Wow, it was better than I imagined. I had hoped to get a unique flavor from the feta and banana peppers and it was really good. No wonder it's considered one of the specialty sandwiches. My daughter got the Mac and cheese from the kids menu.... Nothing spectacular, but I don't think your expectations can be that high on kids menu mac and cheese. But in reality, everything I've ever tried is good here. And if you're looking for something besides traditional deli subs, they also have breakfast sandwiches all day, hot dogs, and others. On this particular visit, the person helping in the lobby was amazing. Our receipt said "Kevin C"and I hope that's who it was, because he deserves recognition. He was very friendly and outgoing, helping people decide on the menu and answering questions about sandwiches. The group in front of us and my daughter hadn't eaten there before and he helped them right along. Super friendly too and spectacular customer service! I overheard one exchange when a mother mentioned to him that her daughter had ordered pop and probably should of got milk. The mother said "but it's OK" to which he replied, "No, it's not" and that she should have milk. He went to the back and got the girl her milk and she started eating her cookie. Kevin was wonderful all around and is an asset here. If you come to Gandolfo's, the food will be awesome and you will get full. And if you get Kevin assisting you, it really is a jackpot! Well done Gandolfo's!

The closest thing you're gonna get to a east coast sammich. Gandolfo's really knows how to do it right. These sammiches taste just like the ones in Philadelphia, I couldn't be happier about it. Nebraska doesn't know jack about a good sammich, but Gandolfo's will get you there.

First time and it was def worth the drive from 204th! We had the Broccoli Cheese side and the Sour Cream Potato Salad side with the Pastrami on Marble Rye (with Spicy Mustard) and the Manhattan Transfer. Both sandwiches are hot and delicious, and overfilled with meat. We also got some kind of chocolate mousse cake to go and can't wait to try it. And the service was excellent. 👌 This is a place o can see going back to.
