i love this place! the food always hits the spot and the fries are always gone within minutes because i eat them so fast. a few days ago i went and had the nicest guy server ever he was great! on the other hand, there is one girl who seems like she doesn’t like her job and isn’t that pleasant but she does her job right! pepper jax is great!
I go there often. They are super consistent. Good staff as well. I dont recall ever seeing any mess. Model location for the chain.
Great food. Friendly faces that are happy to be there. Employees were very friendly and very helpful. Best cheesesteak ever!
Friendly cooks and staff, making your order as you give it and as hot as you want it. My brother got a Fireball with everything including jalopenos. Oh so good!!!
Delicious meal. Like Chipotle or Moe's but better. You can add lots of toppings.

AWESOME Philly cheesesteaks! I've never had the meat grilled in jalapeno juice (no extra charge!) before. Sorry no pic of the food, I had it with onions, peppers, jalapenos, and pepper jack cheese. I'll get a food pic next time there, and it won't be long! =o) update: more pix...
Not only is the food good but the staff is amazing and should be commended since the food service industry it is so hard to find good people anymore. The manager treated my daughter like fantastic and we will be back.
Is more spacious inside but I wish they would have kept up the old photos of the area. Great Phillies as usual.
Food and service always on point! We go kinda often, so the staff knows us and always takes good care of us. Will have to grab a picture of the great food next time 😏

So I have avoided Pepper Jax for sometime now. On a whim we DoorDashed it this evening from this location. My expectations were low, I mean nothing ever arrives “hot and fresh” from DoorDash so I prepared myself for a very sad cold burrito.
I pop the top on my box and much to my surprise the burrito was still relatively hot and was of reasonably size. Then it happened I unwrapped the most majestic, beautifully constructed burrito I’ve ever seen. If the franchise owner is reading this, GIVE THESE PEOPLE A RAISE!!! I’ve eaten a lot of burritos in my 38yrs on this planet and this was by far the more perfectly rolled burrito I have ever seen, as if done be some amazing burritos rolling machine. Hats off to the staff of the Lakeside Pepper Jax, you have given me hope in humanity again. The burrito was delicious(pats self on back for perfect ingredient selection).
In all seriousness keep up the good work, your rolling skills are fantastic, maybe roll one for yourself later…
