Our favorite place for Mexican food. BEST margarita anywhere! El Presidente! Service and food are always on point regardless of location.
We went here for the first time for a friends birthday, the food was delicious. It was pretty busy, but we only waited a little while for a table. I had a bahama mama margarita and it was fantastic, food was great, portions were huge. Waited what seemed like awhile for our food, but again, they were very busy. Would definitely go again when we are back in town.

We stopped in to see our favorite waiter and had an excellent time. Danny is an amazing waiter and the food was amazing. Will be going back for sure.

If I could give this La Mesa 100 stars I would! I often get to-go orders since my job is on the go, and they have always treated me with respect and great service. From the management to the friendly staff, there isn't another Mexican food restaurant with this kind of atmosphere. They always have my to-go orders ready when I walk in the door and am greeted with smiles and hellos. I love this location as it is very close to my house. I think La Mesa did an excellent job choosing this newest spot for dining, it really hits all the families out west that are north of Dodge street. If you haven't tried this spot you must!
P.S. The management are so great at fixing any problems that happen within the restaurant, and are quick to act on it. Everyone restaurant will have the occasional complaint or issue, but these guys really do a fantastic job making sure their clientele is taken care of ���
Great giant margaritas, molcajete is second to non. La Mesa reminds me of California Mexican food, it is as close to authentic as possible.

My beef nachos here tonight were exceptional! The Steak burrito that my husband had was amazing! The queso sauce and salsa were absolutely out of this world and would order all this again! The margaritas we're amazing 'the finest of Omaha' resposado tequila were incredible! We came here because of a gift card and will definitely come back again! Thank you Henessie(sp?) for great and quick service as it was a busy Saturday night.

My partner and I eat at La Mesa on 110th and Maple Street, but they were closed for repairs so we went to this location. The atmosphere is is okay. I was somewhat surprised by the service. Someone brought us some chips and salsa which was great. The server came by and took our order and she was okay but seemed hurried. So the order went in and then she came back a few minutes later and asked if we were ready to order and then realize that. Oh yes we had already ordered. The food seem to take a long time to come out. And unfortunately what it did there were two problems. I fellow diner had ordered the fajitas in all beef and they came out with chicken and beef combo. He had to ask for the tortillas to go with them, and his refried beans were very cold. I actually checked to make sure it was. My tacos were fine, my refried beans were not as cold but they were not the normal hot serving temperature. I'm going to hope this was just a one-off day because they did seem busy which might have been because of the other unit being closed. Definitely will give this location a second try.
We arrived an hour before closing time. The wait staff was amazing & made sure we were taken care of. Food was just what we needed.
Had the 3 enchiladas with chicken. It was really good. Asked for the green sauce on the side and glad I did. Unfortunately I didn't get enough sour cream. But otherwise it was good.
Party of 9. Got seated immediately. Took drink orders quickly. Ordered & food came out hot & delicious. Waiter very friendly.
I like this branch of La Mesa in North West Omaha. Food is great, new menu, no waiting to be seated, masks are not required. They remodeled, updated their tables and chairs.

I love this restaurant. They have delicious Mexican food. Their carne asada is delicious yum. Great place , especially for family. Love this place
Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the molcajete and I wasn't disappointed. It must have been heated in a volcano because it came out so temperature hot, but after it cooled off it didn't dissapointed. I had never had this type of dish before and the presentation was neat. The restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. The server was initially quick and friendly, but shortly became nearly non existent. I'm sure he was overwhelmed with tables, but the whole experience took mich longer than necessary. I ended up seeing the manager help out later but she still never came to our table to time the checks and collect payment. Overall had a good experience and if I'm ever in the area I would visit again. Hopefully next time I could enjoy some margaritas!
We ordered family style tonight for take out. This family style thing is one of the better things to come out of Covid-19. We got 12 chicken enchiladas suiza style(with all the toppings) rice, beans, chips and salsa. It stayed warm for the trip home to Waterloo. Once it got here it didn't last long though. Everyone enjoyed the meal, even my picky eaters 🤣 I hope they keep the family meal deals around forever. We will definitely order this again.
