My wife and I seem to end up here every few weeks. I can't quite put my finger on why we do yet. Yes the food is great best in town in our opinion. But the staff might be the most friendly group ever. As for the food the chicken fried rice although a basic menu item most places is full of large pieces of white chicken. And made fresh. Not one item on the menu is over $11. The egg drop soup is just great. The kung pao is spicy without being overpowering. But one of my favorite items is already on the table for you the hot mustard here is not for the faint of heart, it's a full burn killer. But it make the egg rolls pop as long as you don't over do it. I guess the mystery will continue and I'll continue to come back for not only the friendly atmosphere but the great food at an unbeatable price
Must. try. something. new. next. time.. Specializing in Sichuan-style Chinese food, Oriental Garden is a nieghborhood favorite. I've eaten here a lot and always get the same dish that I've been in love with since it was first recommended by a friend: sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong-style. Minimally sweet, it's a brown sauce with some heat. The egg rolls and crab rangoon are good as well. I also agree that the owner is very nice and employees always seem to be having a good day. The restaurant is small and quaint. A comfortable place to enjoy an affordable meal.
The front people where friendly and very helpful when I ordered.... Friendly place the food is one of a kind it was perfect you get your money's worth very good portion size more than expected that's a plus+ the taste was good aswell.... Perfect Dinner Thank you....

Food was excellent and came out fast. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. It is in a strip mall. Restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated.
Hidden Gem! Was trying to find a place to eat on a Saturday night that wasn’t packed. My dad recommended this place and I was very impressed. They had the best crab Rangoons I’ve ever had. And there chicken was very good quality, not chewy like a lot of other places. I will be coming back!
I’m from out of town and the food was delicious, hot, and fresh. They were incredibly kind and got our order perfect!

Food was pretty good. I like that they have two sizes to choose from, any time. I usually get the small size. Plenty of food. No need to take home leftovers (I don't care for Chinese leftover food).

I have finally found Chinese to enjoy. Sweet and sour chicken, garlic chicken and dumplings. Delicious! Definitely will be back!!
Golden Palace Express has the best Chinese in Omaha! Their dinners have the perfect amount of sauce in them. So they are never dry. And the crab rangoon is so crispy and delicious! The rice is cooked perfectly every time and is just simply always a treat! Priced right and the people that work there are so kind. For your next Chinese food meal, why not be pampered with perfection! So good!!!
Soup & meal were great! Egg Drop Soup was hot & fresh. Beef with Green Beans was very tasty. Nice portion sizes. Excellent price & service. Crab Rangoon was lackluster. I’d go with a different appetizer if ordering one. Overall positive experience- don’t be fooled by the negative reviews!
My favorite family owned restaurant to support. They are so nice and the food is tasty and ready so fast. Working near by was awesome.
First time eating from here. Then food was great and the customer service was Phenomenal. The person who delivered my food didn't hesitate to go back when he realized he forgot my water. The service was fast. Definatly worth 5 stars in my book!
