This place never lets me down. So delicious. Our waiter was so amazing I believe her name is Taylor. If you have her waiting your table she will take great care of you. This Restaurant truly makes you feel like you are in New Orleans. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Almost like eating at Dad's all over again. ... Back round info My Dad was a really good off-shore oil rig cook. They didn't always let him come home due to the on coming cook not being near as good. So for me to compare anyone to be even close to his level is a huge compliment.

Very cute Cajun-style restaurant! My boyfriend and I were looking for something tasty on our way home from paddle boarding at Blue Springs, and we certainly found it. We started off with the catfish bites and Buffalo fried oysters. I’m not big on catfish, but the one bite I did try was perfectly fried and breaded, and my oysters were super saucy and delicious. For entrees, my boyfriend got the Buffalo fried chicken sandwich special, and I got the two for $10 tacos: one blackened shrimp, and one voodoo. Both of us were super impressed with what we had, and our waitress Carrie was very sweet and took excellent care of us. Even though she had the whole restaurant to care for, she offered great recommendations, answered our questions, and even got me a sample of the Purple Haze beer to try before committing to a whole glass (served in a frosty cup, the best!). I wish we lived closer, but next time we go to Blue Springs, we’ll definitely be back!

Nice little surprise. Food was pretty good. The crayfish were small but tasty.

I had to visit this restaurant twice during my time in town! We enjoyed the Jilly boil, po boys, blue burger, tacos, and the hamburger and chicken nugget kids meals. Everything was seasoned to perfection and very fresh. Very friendly and professional staff. Thank you for making my time in town extra delicious! I can’t wait to come back.

Great atmosphere and a great albeit slightly limited menu is backed up by authentic Cajun fare. Servers are friendly and attentive. Dishes are ample and well presented. Excellent and confidently recommended.

Follow us on a fun day trip for this one. Brooksville to points unknown. Cool wintry breeze ruffling the trees, standing in pasture, boots up to our knees, blossoming sunrise we see. The horses gallop to come gobble hay, we bid them farewell then get underway. With no destination in mind, Fab One & I coin-tossed a compass heading. Northeast won. Driving miles of meandering back roads eventually brought us to the I-4 corridor, just north of Or-land-oh.. It was then I conjured up a vision of a formal 'where to go'. Cassadaga. We stopped. We walked. We talked. We opted out of a reading meet, so no psychic did we greet. Thoughts now on lunch and food, I guess we were in a 'medium rare' mood? Asphalt cantering again, we scanned the virtual horizon for a fork favorable find. Spotting the beckoning glow of Fire on the Bayou..we followed the flickering digital embers to ground zero. Our foodie Ayee! usually is at the end of an I-10 sortie, our many trips to NOLA, New Orleans bébé. Stepping through the 'Fire' threshold put us on the brush tip at a painter's palette. Vivid colors coaxed. Perspective evoked. Sheetrock stroked. Symbiosis. Sarah B, was our server to be. She took us in and granted our culinary wishes from A-Z. This kind of food AND service? Evokes loyalty. It was a 'Fusion' of new friends and food. FOOD? FOOD! Get to the FOOD! Here we go! Po Boy....French bread crispy crust, fluffy center sandwich. Topped with your choice of fillings. Andouilee..Sausage with the funny name but big on taste (ann-DOO-ee). Andouilee Po Boy is what Fab One ordered. I tried a bite and it was right. Whatever Fire on the Bayou hides within that casing? Geez! Wow! While she was daintily devouring this devilishly delicious delight, I saw that familiar look of contentment on her face. I know that look... DEE-licious! This boy also got a Po Boy. I got mine toppling over with batter fry protected pretty pink shrimp. Swiped with a slather of Remoulade sauce. I lip smacked my way through that sandwich and loved every crusty crumb, every crustaceous crunch. I was satisfied! We both got Red Beans and Rice as our sides. Naturally. In closing, we wined, we dined, we laughed with Sarah so sweet. I swear I felt the beat of Bourbon Street at our feet. I tried to capture the life within those lively walls. But I know it will require more time. More, more, more. ...til we return....to the bayou....keep the Fire going.
