EXCELLENT !!!!! We went by for the first time last night and had great service by Brittney Mae and awesome food. We tried the dinner for 2 and were not disappointed. The steak, Lobster, scallops and shrimp were very good. We will be going back.
Not a bad little spot to stop in. The interior decor was a bit odd... When you walk in, it looks like an old diner...filled with Japanese hibachi grills. A little bit of an identity crises did not keep us from enjoying the food. The sever and chef were both a pleasure!
Our favorite restaurant. We have eaten at almost every restaurant in Jacksonville and Saint Augustine, typically high end restaurants and we always go back to Sushi Rock. Ironically, I don't eat seafood, but it's my husband's favorite. For grill food, we always get filet (if you're getting steak choose filet) and chicken and my husband loves the shrimp (and scallops). I am obsessed with their ginger dressing on the salad and ginger dipping sauce for filet. I put it on my steamed rice and my husband loves the shrimp sauce on his fried rice.
I love, and have always, loved this place!!! It's food is unsurpassed, its price very fair, and the tempura chefs are hilarious and will remember you if you go there often enough! 10/10 in my books.

Great Sushi. I have only been here once for lunch. I had a Dynamite roll and a Dragon roll. It was delicious, fresh and flavorful. I cannot WAIT to go back. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and they had a nice menu.
Very Tasty!!!!!. I think this place has the best sushi in Jax.. The Japanese steakhouse part is average and pricey. The staff is very nice and attentive.
Best Japanese steakhouse in the city! Hubby and I have been to them all several times and this one is hands down the best. Service. Price. Food. All top notch.
Best Teppanyaki in Jax. For my money this one is the best and I have eaten at most of them here. Portions are enormous and while the cooks do the normal table tricks (smiley face on fire, egg balancing, volcano, etc.) their bar is quick and fully stocked. I have not tried the sushi but the grille is top notch.
Kyodai is Good. I had the Sushimi dinner (roughly $22.00) minus the shrimp and pink tuna plus extra octopus and conch. Compliment this with some saki and Ichiban beer and you'll have a great menu blend.

Very good. Although this place is always very busy, It is worth the wait if you cant get in at Wasabi accross the street.
THE BEST SUSHI & SERVICE!. Kyodai Rock is amazing! the service is absolutely fantastic and the sushi is soo good, they have the best and extremely creative rolls, you will not leave this place dissapointed. The owner greats us when we walk in and is always happy to see us, he remembers faces and families and that really adds to the dining expierence. if you want sushi you want kyodai!!

AMAZING!. I love Japanese food, but can be picky when it comes to Japanese Steakhouses. I came to Kyodai Sushi Rock because the name was fun to say and I was driving my bf crazy so he was like OMG! We are going! One of the best Japanese places I have been to yet in Jacksonville. (The best being Otaki off of Gate Parkway. The chef I had at the grill table the night I went was AWESOME! I wish I would have gotten his name to request him in the future. He was just a lot of fun. He joked around with us and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
