This was our first time there. Yes it was a wait because of time we went. But Well worth the wait. Good quality and quantity of food definitely a place for good food and a nice atmosphere . A must go to restaurant.
Been here several times and the food is always great. Our waitress was Diana and she was on point with her awesome service. So if you want great food and service Flappy Jacks is the spot.
We come here from time to time, always during the week though ! On the weekends there is always a crowd, which means good food ! Great place to come and have breakfast and watch the traffic on the 55 frreway go by as you eat !
This was our first time and we loved it. Food was very good and lots of it. Service didn't disappoint either. Servers are great. It's always crowded, but wait was minimal and service was fast. Highly recommend
Love this place. Bring your patient pills because it's always busy for breakfast!!
But, well worth the wait!
You must try and see why!
The best restaurant for breakfast in Orange County...best food, best service
This has become our favorite place for breakfast! The service is excellent, and the food is always great. My favorites are eggs Benedict and the blueberry pancakes. The chicken and apple sausage is great too.
The NBS French toast was the best French toast I’ve ever had! The ingredients all complimented each other perfectly.

Delicious food!! Excellent service!! Waiting time was minimum!! Our new place to eat breakfast! Especially they have my 6 egg white omelette!!💪
Great little spot. The food was delicious with nice size portions. The bacon waffle was yummy.
This was my first being there. My cousins invited me and treated me for my birthday and I must say I wasn’t disappointed. They kept the Hot coffee coming and was generous with the food. I will Be BACK when I’m in the area😀
Delicious pancakes and sides. We visited this beautiful place and we did not wait too much to get a table. Thalia's exceptional service stood out. She attended to us with genuine warmth and ensured our satisfaction throughout. A truly memorable visit thanks to her outstanding hospitality. We were surprised by the size of the pancakes.
Happily surprised by the hospitality, food quality and large portions and fair prices!!! The kids “silver dollar” pancakes were almost the size of normal pancakes not the tiny ones we’ve seen in other places! The Veggie/Mediterranean omelette was DELISH! Not over cooked eyes like in other places. Loved my crepes also! Yummy! Can’t wait to go back again!

11-18-23 exquisite breakfast , hubby content with his hot pancakes, great service and great company with club members . Hawaiian pancakes are delicious and can be shared with 3-4 people. All portions are quite big 👍 . All a plus .
If you're looking for a place to kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast, Flappy Jacks Pancake House in Orange is the place to be! Just make sure you set your alarm clock early enough or prepare to surrender to the waiting game on weekends. Trust me, it's worth every mouth-watering minute! Now, let's talk about the menu. It's like a novel, only with pancakes as the main characters. From fluffy classics to mind-boggling creations, they've got it all. And let me tell you, those pancakes are tastier than a stand-up comedian's punchline! To add a fruity twist, they serve raspberry sauce on the side, because regular pancakes deserve a little adventure too!
Whoever thought of bacon pancakes deserves a round of applause and a standing ovation. They were absolutely delicious, and the combination of crispy bacon with fluffy pancake goodness was a match made in breakfast heaven. But, oh dear hash brown, you need to step up your game! It was the only downside in an otherwise fantastic meal. Maybe it was having a bad hair day?
It's a good bargain for your buck, and you'll probably end up taking breakfast leftovers home with you. It's like a breakfast feast that keeps on giving! Ah, the waiting game. We waited for a solid 30 minutes, but hey, good things come to those who wait, right? And trust me, these pancakes are worth every second of anticipation. However, I must warn you, finding parking is like searching for a needle in a haystack. It's like a never-ending game of musical chairs, but with cars. So gear up your patience and prepare for the challenge of finding that elusive parking spot.
Lastly, let's talk about the ambiance. Flappy Jacks Pancake House has a Route 66 vibe that adds a fun and retro touch to your breakfast experience. It's like stepping into a time machine and munching on pancakes while cruising down memory lane. Just be prepared for a bustling crowd because this place is always packed. But hey, that's a testament to its popularity, right?
Went here for a peaceful Sunday brunch with the girlfriend!
I got the stuffed French Toast w/ hashbrowns and scrambled egss as a combo. My girlfriend got the chocolate chip pancakes combo.
The portions are huge! No joke, if its just two people I would recommend finding a combo you like and deciding on one item together. Its a LOT of food. The coffee was $3.79 iced with a refill charge so its a bit pricey but overall this place was excellent. Great service and really well made dishes.
My stuffed french toast was incredible - cream chesese stuffed in a french toast block topped with savory strawberries 🔥 definitely worth a try!
Loved this place. Portions were generous and delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and the retro vibes made the visit very enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back.
Great customer service! Great food! It's very loud when it's busy. There can be a long wait for a table, but it's worth it for me. THE TRI TIPan egg are great!
First time here, big portions tho so come hungry ! :/) the Hawaiian pancakes were delish
The best place for breakfast! 🍳🥞🇺🇸
Really nice atmosphere, excellent service and quality food. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Waiting time was pretty fine- they called in pretty quick but place looks like busy. We were group of 10+ - we got good table. Place served French toast and pancakes. Fries were good. Hash browns were okay- was expect little crispier - again it’s personal taste. I tried Flappys German pancakes I guess pretty okay. Lots of fruits in them. Will try different pancakes on my next visit
The food was very tasty, and the staff was super friendly. Will be coming back for more.
This place is the bomb!!! The food is great, both breakfast and lunch. Large portions, but still quality food and the service is amazing. Every waiter and waitress we've ever had has been incredible. Everyone here hustles! Whoever is doing the hiring and training of the staff here knows what they are doing! They get huge lines of people waiting on the weekends, which I normally hate and wouldn't bother waiting, but somehow, they whip through them quickly. It's usually not more than 20-30 minutes, even when it's crowded outside. If you haven't been, it's a must! You won't be disappointed.
This place is awesome. Menu is huge so it can be overwhelming at times but you cant go wrong here. Try the chicken breast and eggs, hawiian pancakes or any of the crepes.
I will say this last time I went the chicken was a bit overdone or possibly reheated...I didn't bother asking for another piece but that was my fault. Either way my experience here has always been good. Place is busy!
Went there today (Monday) and we were seated quickly. Got there around 11 am. I ordered the German Pancake, which is amazing and delish! This is baked in the oven, served with powdered sugar, lemon, and syrup. It's heavenly and I always get this dish when I eat here. The service was fantastic and everyone is very attentive here. I highly recommend this restaurant off the 55/Lincoln Ave in Orange County, California! Ciao.
Right off the freeway and has great service! We all had their omelette and they have large portions. It's in the $15-20ish range.. the omelettes were a little bit watery which was a big disappointing but besides that a great brunch place in the local area
Everything we ordered was above and beyond our expectations. The pancakes are magic, the coffee tasted better then most coffee shops and the service was excellent.
Over all great family place for breakfast!
Fantastic! Service was fast and efficient. Went for a late breakfast about 11am on Wednesday (2 days after Christmas) and it was packed. Had to wait about 10 minutes before our table of 3 was ready. Pancakes were Delicious and my spouse could not have been happier with her Mediterranean omelet with avocado added. We will be back! 5 stars!
It’s worth the wait!
Our family had a great time during brunch last Sunday at this place, first time for me and I loved it.
The server was polite, service was fast once we were on our table, food was warm made to order and delicious.
The server will come often to make sure we had everything we needed, like coffee, condiments, water.
The portions are big, you will definitely take some food home 🥰
Recommend and when you go make sure you tip the waiters good, they work really hard to please hungry customers 👍
