Skipping right to the end: try the tiramisu for dessert, it was amazing. The whole meal was great; delicious pastas, nice wine, great service. But man that tiramisu was so good.
I ordered one of the special pasta dishes and it took much longer than expected. It was somewhat disapointing. I mentioned that to the manager and he offered me another dish but I was full. I asked for a box to take the rest of my meal home and they threw my food away, said it was missing an ingredient and gave me a dessert. I paid full price for my meal and wanted to take the rest with me even if it wasn't my favorite dish.
What an amazing night! 2nd time here and it was the best service from the hostess to our waitress. Their pasta is just so fresh, so flavorful, great combinations of protein and sauces. Their wine selection is abundant and delicious. We had the mussels and clams appetizer. They serve delicious bread of 3 types with balsamic and olive oil. We had the chocolate custard amaretto cookie dessert and it was perfect š. Definitely will be coming back to try other menu items. My squid ink tortellini with salmon and thyme was on the special me u and it was soooo delicious. The waitress was kind, informative about the color of the pasta, brought the dessert menu out on time. Great experience. Dogs allowed, preferably small so they can stick to the railing since it's a small walk way
I went with my friends and we loved our dinner! Good service! You have the option to park at Parking building for free. It is 5 minutes walking distance.
For the love of delicious Italian food. This is the place! A great place to go wine tasting as well. The atmosphere is so relaxing you really donāt want to leave. I enjoy my food, music as well as our waiter.
Discovered this place by walking by and had no idea what weād be getting ourselves into - as it turns out, no regrets there!
Service was perfect from start to finish, āprompt, prompt, and warmā just sums it straight up. We loved it.
The cocktails were very reasonably priced which encouraged taking a chance with the menuās offerings, and those too were delicious and on refreshing.
As for the food, I have too much to say so Iāll just leave it 10/10 stars! Seriously, nothing could be improved as it was truly perfect. Portions were perfect-sized and not too small, the dishes were unique and no cliches could be found.
If I had my way, I would come back again for dinner tonight but either way, Iāll go well out of my way to visit again as the experience is truly guaranteed to be memorable.
Now its your turn.
We came here for lunch on a weekend and it wasnāt too busy. Itās a small restaurant but the food is amazing!
Their menu is quite extensive though. We ordered the chicken special for the day and the pesto shrimp/scallops linguini. Both have the good portion of food and the taste is superb. Pricing is very reasonable considering it is in OC.
We will definitely come back to try other items on their menu.
Very good northern Italian food.
While shopping out in the O.C. with my FiancĆ© we had a dinner reservation at the Francoli restaurant and when we got there the waitress was pretty prompt and sat us right away. The overall seating position wasn't my favorite (I wanted to be inside) however the hospitality was great. We definitely enjoyed the food (the Peroni beer was awesome!) and the chocolate cake dessert was š„. I would come back again and try to get inside seating but overall it's a good place to have friends and family dine out and enjoy the evening
Fillet mignon is perfectly cooked. With mushrooms sauce, it added a layer of sophistication. Home made Tiramisu is excellent. Seafood pasta is good, just the pasta is little tough. We brought it home and cooked the pasta by itself again, then fold the seafood it. It is our dinner š
The food was truly outstanding the tagliatelle Al Carbonara was exquisite. Highly recommended.
Iāve been to Italy a dozen times and found this restaurant to be one of the most authentic ones in Orange County.
The food was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh and all of the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food came quickly even though every table was full.
They donāt make reservations so be prepared to wait. We came at 5pm and there was already a line, it was worth the wait though!
Francolis is a nice addition in Old Town Orange. The food is good and service is welcoming. Abby, our waitress, was happy and informative on menu items. They have a great wine selection and cocktails.
This is our neighborhood favorite. Small spot but warm, cozy and the Italian food is delicious. Tucked on the corner in Old Towne Orange, lots to see when you sit outside on the heated patio. They have a good wine selection. Come with you appetite portions are healthy in size.
The location is great, if you have to wait thereās a little park and other shops you can walk around too
If youāre a smoked salmon fan the Salmone Affumicato is the perfect appetizer to start - all of the different elements on the plate allows for the perfect combination of salty / savory and ties in perfectly with the creaminess of the salmon mousse.
The pasta was seasoned to perfection and I loved the fresh Parmesan to add an extra kick of flavor.
One of the best Italian restaurants Iāve been too!
5 stars on all categories. The food was fantastic. My date and I both thoroughly enjoyed our pasta dishes. The sauces used were truly to die for. The waitress was friendly, prompt, and attentive thru the entire experience. We ate outside. Although the weather was chilly, the outdoor heating was more than adequate to keep us comfortable. We will be back!
Love the bar, love the music, love the food!
Highly recomend it!š
Update 9/18/2022. Still a great place to dine! Loved the Cioppino and the Tiramizu!! And the service is top notch! Weāll be back!
