I've had empanadas in so many places because my family is from Argentina. Never have I seen the way MY MOTHER makes empanadas: beef with hard boiled eggs and raisins. Talk about authentic! And the milanesa was the exact thickness you wanted and super tasty. Go there, and try all the things.
Never been to Argentina but I love me some Empanadas and these are baked fresh and full of spices! The plain beef as well as the Arab were the winners for me but the Wife liked the spinach and sundried tomato as well. Seems like a local Argentinian or at least South American local hangout, always a good sign!
Such a cute place, I love the vibe here. I got several empanadas, beef, chicken and onions & cheese and they were excellent. I got the sausage sandwich and it was incredible! Fresh bread, delicious meat, just a great sandwich. We got the bread pudding and it was also excellent! Can't wait to come back and try the chipotle versions next. Their coffee looks great too. I'm thinking of replacing Christmas tamales with empanadas this year they were so good.
We're so glad that Patagonia is so close to our house because they are our Go-To spot for empanadas! They are delicious and Patagonia does not skimp on the filling! Our favorites are:
- chipotle beef
- chipotle pork
- spicy beef
- regular beef
And don't forget to get the chimichurri sauce - takes the empanadas to the next level! YUM!!

I have only had the empanadas but they are great. They have other choices that I need to try, including a nice assortment of desserts. If you like wine, they have a nice selection. I was surprised at the atmosphere when I walked in. Really nice and very friendly staff.
If you have not been here, you should give it a try.
Everything here looks amazing, EVERYTHING! Came for the empinatas and they were excellent, beef, chicken, tuna, couldn't pick a favorite. I was worried I didn't get enough chimichurri sauce with my take-out but no worries, these babies came packed with flavor so very little was needed. If I lived here I would be a regular. ❤️Empanadas❤️🙏🏻🙌🏼
I've been getting my empanadas and cakes at this place for a while, they have good service in exception of one time.where two employees were arguing each other, the empanadas are good and the cakes, only has too much caramel for my taste but they are good
The owners and employees use mask for me that's an A+ as they think about their safety and customer safety.
The most delicious empanadas I’ve ever had plus many yummy desserts to choose from. The chocolate alfajore is very sweet and the cheese ricotta pie is a must try.
We just moved to Orange and noticed this place while we were running errands, so we stopped in for lunch. My wife and I split a mix of 6 different empanadas, all wonderfully delisious, and she even said they reminded her of those her Chilean grandfather used to make! Oh, and the chimichurri? Some of the best I've had. We'll be back soon to try more of the menu, as I was particularly enamored with the pastry case.
Great small Argentinan Cafe/restaurant. The Empanadas are fantastic at 2.50 at price. Sandwiches are expensive but good, Mexican imported coke cola is 2.50 which is fair.
They have baked sweet treats that are very well made. Would recommend this place If looking for high quality food.

This is the best argentinean restaurant in town! Every single staff that we ordered was amazing, ( ham and cheese empanadas , the croissants,vigilantes, (pastry’s) wow !! We will come back for sure!!

Once in a long moon, I can safely say I have found a place worth it of its accolades. Patagonia Empanadas was a very nice revelation, and I can see why so many reviews were in their favor. First time ever, but wanting Empanadas, we followed the good advice, and arrived around 12 PM on a Tuesday. Met the owner and crew, at first glance they were busy. Empanadas are made to order, and I chose: 4 Beef, 4 Chicken, 4 Spinach, 2 Ham and Cheese, and 2 Shrimp from their World type.
Besides the Empanadas I picked several pastries. The bill came to around $65.
A member of our family purchased Empanadas and Pastries, as well, to the tune of almost $35. All to go, for it was imperative to beat the traffic on our way back home to Menifee, CA.
Upon arriving, after a breezy ride back, it took no time to commence enjoying our purchase. Not one item was below very good, and that certainly brought a big smile to our faces. As good as it gets mostly, and truly worth the visit, in true contrast to the abundant disappointments, were good money was spent, only to discover too late how mediocre the food was.
This is a renewal of my confidence in all the good reviews pertaining to Patagonia Empanadas. The owner is very personable, and obviously his standards surpasses expectations, and that is a good thing. In this particular case, we have been enjoying the goodies, and have plans to return. 4.5 Stars.

Simple but tasty. Great assortment of empanadas and reasonably priced. Larger than many places and made fresh and hot out of the oven. Plenty of wine and beer options.
This place has the best empanadas and chimichurri sauce! These are Argentina empanadas so they are baked. The dough is sooo tender you won't miss fried empanadas at all. They are so delicious you will keep coming back for more! The the desserts are all made fresh. I love the tiramisu.
I thought I knew what love was, what did I know? These Empanadas just changed my life. It feels like every other version has just been a cheap Hot Pocket by comparison. I could taste actual LOVE in each bite and now idk if I’ll ever be able to settle for less. Can’t wait to come back!
