Great authentic Mexican food! The flavors take you back to the homeland. Huge portions with a fantastic, friendly service on an immaculate establishment. We tried the Pambazo - it was HUGE and tasted delicious. My wife had the cheese enchiladas and they were just as good. The only odd issue was that you’re not able to mix and match an enchilada plate - never heard of that before. But besides that, everything was on point. We will be back and recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Mexican meal.

It was a wonderful, and filling experience well worth the long drive. One of the greatest authentic Mexican restaurants I've had in a very long time. Home made is the best made true love and passion was taken in preparation Fantastic food. Been back but this time with my family it was way better the second time around, and I can't wait until the next visit.

We found this place on Yelp! and were very happy we went. Open just 8 months ago by the Gonzalez family (Stephanie, her sister & parents), this restaurant is very welcoming. A little hard to find, but when we called they gave excellent directions. It's in the Donut Star plaza between the Union hall and the Metro PCS plaza. We parked and walked in to a smiling Stephanie. We sat near the windows and were given menus and fresh made tortilla-rounds with 3 different sauces (varying degrees of heat). We ordered Corona Lights (they also had Premier, Extra & Familiar available) and perused the menu. It was Tuesday, so tacos were $0.99 each! I went to the Specialties section and went with the first choice because I'd ever seen it before, The Pambazos. My husband ordered the steak fajitas with refried beans & rice. While we were waiting we were given more chips and got to speak with Stephanie. She told us about the restaurant and different foods they made. The food....it was FANTASTIC! Stephanie explained that the Pambazos was a traditional "sandwich" everyone ate in the streets of Mexico. I akin it to a Po-Boy sandwich in New Orleans - a mixture of everything in there. It is: a Torta (oblong roll-like) lightly covered in red Enchiladas sauce (not dripping) filled with potatoes, chorizo, lettuce, queso fresco, cheese and sour cream. Yes, it was DIVINE! I added a little of each sauce to bring out more flavors, but didn't need to. The fajitas were also very good. The steak was tender and the veggies crisp. The wraps were made fresh along with the refried beans and rice. Everything was fresh and phenomenal. To make things even more so, Stephanie brought out 2 soft-shelled cochinita pibil tacos. WOW! These were also phenomenal. What is it? A traditional slow-roasted pork with shredded cheese, red onions, lettuce, tomato. Nothing here was overdone, crumbled in your hands, or was overstuffed. It was all so perfect. Then she brought out some Moles (pronounced mo-lays) - lightly fried chips covered in there black-chocolate sauce. Another wonderful taste for our tongues. We walked out with leftovers and plan to go again to try their breakfast burritos. Their website is under construction, but gives links to directions, eventual menu, and their other social media sites. A GREAT addition to the Anaheim-Orange area - just a few miles from Disneyland & the resort area. I'll submit photos once this is posted!

This is a very strong 4. The burrito was amazing with the red and green sauce, burrito bandera! They had really good micheladas as well, and the salsa was really good with the chips. The price is perfect and the portions we're just right. We went here before a hockey game, Gonzales is right down the street from Angel Stadium and Honda Center.

The tastes transport you to your native country. Huge servings and excellent, welcoming service in a spotless setting. We sampled the Pambazo, which was enormous and delicious. The cheese enchiladas that my wife had were equally as good. The only strange restriction—never heard of that before—was that you couldn't mix and match an enchilada plate. Apart from that, however, everything was spot on. We'll return and suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for a genuine Mexican meal.

Hidden Gem. It's in a small shopping center behind Donut Star. Great food! Great service! Family owned. Authentic, traditional Mexican food. Don't know why Yelp keeps taking down their reviews. I do not read anything negative about them. We'll definitely keep going back.
