We tasted the different Hawaiian style poke and we got the "works". Everything was delicious, esp the spam masubi and the pork masubi ! We will definitely be back here again!!!

This place is way past 5 stars. The food is made with pride and you can tasted it. If it is Tuesday - you have to try the Spamarito. Sounds crazy but is maybe one of the best things I have ever had. I am a true lover of Musubi and this my friends...is the Holy Grail. Do yourself a favor and EAT HERE!I

Food was so good we can't wait to go back! My husband and I both had the bento box with 2 musubi's and poke. We both had the spicy poke which as excellent, fresh and seasoned with plenty of spice. We also had the furukaki spam musubi and katsu musubi which was bomb! Friendly service, easy parking and clean!
Sooooo good, cali-HI poke was AMAZING. The service was great and the food was excellent! We'll definitely be back!

These guys know how to do it right! Loco moco is mean with the new gravy recipe!! Don't go here thinking your gonna get the mcdonalds style food that L&L gives you. So good!

This place is amazing.
It will take a bit of time during peak hours as they grill each order as they receive it.
There is only 1 outside table for 5 people and narrow seating inside. We always get our food to go.
Amazing plate specials. Hawaiian Sun drinks are $2.25 each. Breakfast plates lean a bit oily. One time the Portuguese sausage burnt through the styrofoam. Highly recommend the Momona plate, which is generous and always delicious.

Food is really good here. Got the kalbi plate and the chicken katsu plate. They both were very good. The kailbi marinade was less sweet than most other places, and was a little more salty, but it was really good. The food is priced fairly for the amount of food you get. Food didn't take too long to come out. There are a few tables inside and one outside.
First time eating here. Won't be my last. Excellent. Chicken is great. You can't get ribs of any kind this good at any other BBQ places around here. And was very happy with the portion size.
This place is the best Hawaiian food ever. Everyone like go to ono or l and l. But brah this is the closest authentic Hawaiian food you can get here in the oc. So good their Mac salad to their fresh poke. Their bbq is also made fresh it’s so worth the wait and drive to be here. The owner is really nice and so is the staff. If you are ever in the area don’t hesitate to visit
We had 808 Local Hawaiian Grill cater our summer party and the food was a hit! We ordered trays of the chicken katsu, char siu pork, and beef ribs. First off, the food was ready exactly when we had requested to pick up, which was very nice because we have had problems with OTHER places forgetting and not having food ready when we needed it - so an extra big thank you to 808 Local Hawaii Grill for actually having everything ready to go and helping load it into my car!
All the food was great and fed all 30 guests with enough for seconds and a little bit of leftovers. I’m looking forward to trying more from the menu and will probably have them cater our next summer party!
Finally found a real "Hawaiian food" place!! Kal bi was just like being back in Hawaii. Chicken katsu and bbq plate was Ono. Kalua pork amd cabbage was amazing. Only the teriyaki pork was a let down BUT those bbq ribs made up for it. Hawaiian poke was also great just a bit pricey per at$28 per lbs. Probably try the other locations too. Parking is a bit rough. Should call in your order.
