Mike never fails to deliver a great evening and meal! The Crawfish tonight were probably the best I’ve ever had including my own. Nice size, perfect seasoning! They always come with special sauce, extra seasoning, butter, potatoes and corn.
Mike makes it easy to keep it local, no need to drive out of town.
So, my hubby took me here on our way to coushatta. He made me try the gator bites, I usually refuse because the first time I tasted them at another restaurant it was gross greasy meat, yuck. I must say Spanky's made me change my whole mind about gator their bites were delicious and my food was awesome the onions rings are ridiculous good. For my first time there it was a great experience. I really liked my waitress she only bothered us when our food or drinks were ready, which I loved because it gave me and hubby a time to talk and enjoy the atmosphere. I will go again when I pass through Orange.
Just stopped in for dinner and it was great. My boyfriend got the flank steak burger and was very pleased. My bacon wrapped shrimp was two thumbs up. Also want to add our server Jaylon (hope I got that right) did an amazing job. Plus all the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back !!

We were meeting my sister's family at the Texas border. We wanted to visit over a meal so we stopped at Spanky's. It was everyone's first time eating there. We loved it!!! The service was excellent & the salad bar was well-stocked. We had some picky eaters with us, but the menu was diverse enough to accommodate everyone!!! Four Texans & four Louisianians give it our stamp of approval!!!
I have eaten at Spanky's twice now.The food is wonderful! I ordered the 10oz steak. It was cooked just the way I love my steak. Our waitress was so awesome. I will be back!!
Spankys is a staple in Orange Texas. I don’t usually eat crawfish at ANY restaurant, but I will eat them every time at Spankys. Great staff and great service.

Staff were friendly and despite the limited menu my food was bomb... leftovers made a great breakfast.
Haven't been there lately. But I've been there several times and I've never been disappointed. The drinks are great they keep them fresh. And any food I've had there is always been delicious

We had the best service, heck the owner even picked up our dishes when we were done and chatted with us, now that is what I call good service�, not to mention the food is excellent!
Best place in Orange Texas to eat and relax! We will for sure be back. Food was great and you will have to have a carry out box! Very friendly staff!

We really enjoyed it! Had the chicken fried steak, kids burger, fries, onion rings, boiled shrimp with tater and corn, and salad bar. Everything was very good. Any place that has a fresh salad bar with options gets our attention and business. We will return. Try it!
My 3rd visit here. And I will be back!! Got a baked potato this time and I stuffed myself. It was delicious! Boyfriend got the taco salad and he was very happy with it.. Service was great and good came out quick

The food and service here has always been above and beyond what you might expect from a typical restaurant.
If you are in Orange you should definitely come eat here.
Decent place, we all enjoyed our meals. The Fried Chicken salad was loaded with chicken. The 1/2 burger was good, and the shrimp basket, was well, a shrimp basket. Only complaint is we didn't like the cocktail sauce, it had an odd flavor we didn't like.
The food was delicious and the service was the best I've had anywhere. Appetizers: gator bites, fried mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks. I had the sirloin with loaded backed potato and bacon wrapped asparagus. I only wish I knew what everyone else tipped. I gladly gave 20 and she deserved that from everyone at the table. Thank you ma'am. If I am ever in town again I hope you are still there to make up for anyone who didn't tip your worth.
Spanky's is an institution in Orange. For many years, they have consistently served the best southeast Texas dishes, with obvious love and passion for what they do. The etouffe blackened catfish with grilled veggies is a personal favorite dish (pictured), and you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu. You have to try this place.

AMAZING! From the staff service, food, and drinks this place is on point. Our party had the mahi-mahi, bacon burger, Mac & cheese, and the 3#crawfish plate with corn and a potato. All were super impressed with their dinner. Absolutely would recommend this place.
Stopped on our way home from Louisiana. Food was full of flavor. Service was impeccable. I am not a big southern food fan, however this could covert me. We will definitely make this a stopping place on I-10 drive. It's definitely worth the few minutes off the freeway.
The food here is prepared the way you would do it yourself. The salad bar has fresh vegetables, and condiments are always stocked. The service was timely and friendly throughout the meal. I will definitely return.
Spanky's is one of the best places in Orange to eat! I always get amazing food and great service! It's also a great place for larger parties! I had them cater my wedding several years ago and they cooked the fried fish on site to give my guests the best! My guests complimented the food at our wedding for years.
Found this place on google maps and decided to try it out. Sounded good. We went for lunch and we’re very impressed with the courteous service. We had the basket with fish and shrimp. The shrimp is very tasty. My wife had the crawfish étouffée and said it was very good as well. I would highly recommend this place.
I'm from Louisiana,just out here visiting &, I thought my husband & I should give this place a try. We had gone in as soon as they opened. It was a bit dark inside but, the service was pleasant &, I found the food to be really good. I was surprised. If I come back, I'll eat here again.
This place is great and one of my favorite most of the time, I've gone a few times that nothing was ever right but that can happen to best of them. I do love that there drink prices are shown on the menu, that's a huge plus. Everything is good so find what you're in the mood for and ask the waitress or waiter, there very helpful and polite. My son absolutely loves there crawfish too...
The app made it convenient for getting on waitlist. The service staff was friendly & constant. Our table was by the bathroom & kitchen doors. My opinion it's too crowded in that area. The food was of excellent quality except the King crabs. The meat from legs were dry & shriveled. Everything else we tasted was above & beyond expectations. Can't wait to go back!
