Excellent service, great food, better prices, and a very clean, fun atmosphere. Best Chowder around, including on the coast. Fish & chips (rockfish) were a great deal and surprisingly filling. Can't wait to come back.

Had an anniversary lunch with my husband here after we got a gift card for this place. Great food! Was very excited to hear that they had french onion soup! My favorite soup and it was so good. Gouda mac and cheese and burger was very good as well. Will definitely be back!

Great service, awesome food, and a great location for families! The train runs just behind the restaurant. It's pretty quiet and the kids live to see the train!

Fun vibes at the train station. Didn’t order drinks but the bar is nice. Waitress was great and friendly. Food not my favorite as the chicken strips were chewy and not much flavor. Fries were ok. Friend had the patty melt and they loved it. It is in the old train station across from the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Trains do stop at the stations which is fun. Lots of outdoor seating and parking is great.

Best fried oysters I’ve ever had. The Cubano sandwich was equally amazing. The bread was so soft and the flavors blended perfectly together.

This was our first time to this establishment. The wait staff is friendly and welcoming. We went around 645 in the evening on a Saturday night. No wait time to be seated. My husband had the Reuben sandwich. He said it was good, but would of been better on rye bread. It was served on I believe a sourdough type bread. I had a bacon cheeseburger. the seasoning on the burger I was not fond of, but it was still a good burger. I also prefer a toasted bun for my burger. This one was warmed, which is still better than most places that serve a burger on a cold bun. Overall a good experience.

The food's always good. Good service. Just what you need good food quick in and out at a reasonable price. Best chicken strips around bar none. Black and blue salad also great. In the mood for a burger? I suggest the Hawaiian or the Coaster Burger. Pretty much can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Overall highly recommend.

I wish I would have taken pictures. I looked at all my girlfriend's food choices and thought every meal looks amazing. I had the special, "Grilled Salmon over a Cesar Salad." The salmon was cooked to perfection. There were nine of us gals. My friend had the Cobb Salad and she said it was delicious. Another friend had the pastrami sandwich and I swear I needed three stomachs. And if you want a homemade potato chips experience....you will not be able to resist. The service was on the spot and on point. There were nine of us gals. Our water was never empty, our food served timely and each special request was accommodated with a smile. The a atmosphere is pub-style and bar style. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

We decided to dine outside. It was starting to get a little chilly, but we thought we could do it. When asked, the waiter was more than happy to turn on the heater even though he had to find the propane. Kudos. Thanks for a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Had a delightful meal of clam chowder, rock fish and battered fries with slaw, and a house salad. The chowder was the best I've had anywhere. Do not miss this! Fish and chips were reasonably priced and yummy - just a tiny bit on the oily side - but great big portions. Easy to split between two people. Nice fresh green salad, too, and NOT iceburg. Love this place. Going back for sure.

Nothing fancy, laid back, easy going place. Great burgers and fries, fish and chips, good prices, many seafood options, strong drinks and extremely friendly outstanding service. Will go back again and explore the menu more.

03/13/2022: 4.85 out of 5 - This review is long overdue. I started coming to Coasters Crossing back in December 2021 at the suggestion of a friend of mine that said, "Coasters Crossing has the BEST chicken strips...", and honestly, who can ignore that? Not a long time, but there have been many meals since then. So, one of the nights I ran with my running group in Milwaukie, and we all agreed to try Coasters Crossing for dinner. What a surprise! There were many choices on the menu. And, on top of that, the prices were very reasonable. We've come in for dinner many times together, and separately to introduce others to Coasters Crossing. Many times upon entering, the staff were always quick to address us and get us seated. Every one of the staff were friendly, attentive and personable which obviously makes a more enjoyable experience as patrons. The establishment is kept very clean. The tables and seating are kept quite clean, as well. The bathrooms have always been seemingly clean all the times I've been there, which makes a big difference, in my opinion. And, I do often check out the vents above at every eatery I go to, which were very clean at Coasters Crossing. One of the evenings, we inquired if Coasters does breakfast. Apparently, I must have been under a rock for not asking earlier, as they do, and the running group was happy to hear because that gave us a new breakfast place to try. I'll tell you all, Coasters Crossing delivered! The breakfast is very tasty and priced very well! I usually do my "go-to" breakfast test by getting the Biscuits & Gravy with a side of sausage, and coffee. However, Coasters Crossing does it better! I can do the Country Fried Steak with Biscuits & Gravy! It was amazing! On top of that, our coffee cup was always filled on many of the breakfast excursions. Many of the "foodie" runners have returned on their own with their family and other friends, as well as myself. Not one disappointment. All were good experiences. All in all, at the end of any meal I often will ask, "Would you come back?" My answer for Coasters Crossing? Since the staff are great, the food and drinks are tasty, and the establishment doesn't partake in any form of discrimination. And, there are more menu items I want to try the next time around. So, yes, without a doubt. By the way, the chicken strips ARE AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! As I always say, if you ever get a chance, definitely try it once and decide for yourself. Enjoy! Note: Even though the masking requirements for indoor spaces have been lifted, there are establishments still requiring masks and COVID cards, it was nice to see this eatery in the greater Portland area not requiring masks or COVID cards. It's a great to see Coasters Crossing not partaking in any of the Social Discrimination Policies that some restaurant owners/management are choosing to still do.

Better than just bar food, the cubano sandwich was very good. Good drinks. Gluten free options. It's at a train station! The server even laughed at my dad joke.
