Some of the best BBQ I've enjoyed in awhile. Had the two meat plate with Brisket and Turkey. The brisket is sublime! Even got a little burnt end. Had fried funeral potatoes and coleslaw as sides and incredible cornbread with honey butter. My wife has the Turkey and Chicken with coleslaw and mashed taters. They subbed a huge pickle for the bread. Gluten friendly and a great selection of sauces. Friendly staff and a simple sit down atmosphere. Thank you and we'll be back.

We love us some good Texas-Style-BBQ! I came upon this place by accident as I was google searching a place to get some grilled chicken and I am so glad I came upon it. I would 10/10 recommend this place—allow me to explain. As a family who lived in Texas for nearly 4 years we know what good Texas-Style-BBQ tastes like, and this is it (if you enjoy R&R you don’t know what good food or good BBQ tastes like—R&R is trash compared to this place). When you walk in you are greeted with two easy to understand menus with classic options for BBQ. You can buy meat by the pound as a stand alone, or they have different meat plates you can buy. They also offer sandwiches, salads, or daily specials as main plates. Their sides are fantastic, to date we have tried the following: BBQ Beans, Creamy Corn, Coleslaw, and Corn Bread. They have multiple sauce options which is awesome, the ones that we have tasted so far have been a delight—we have tried: House, Sweet, Chipotle Ranch, and Alabama. I am torn between the House and Sweet being my favorite—I’ll probably always get both. I have never dined in so I cannot provide any insight there, but the food is fantastic to-go! They wrap your meats in aluminum and put it all in boxes so your food stays warm. They will also put as many sauces of your choosing in small cups so you can have them with your meal. I cannot recommend this place enough—it is likely going to become a part of my weekly routine!

If I lived closer, I'd have to buy bigger pants... I must preface with the fact that I worked here when it first opened 12ish years ago. I programmed the cash register (now updated) but honestly, that's the only real change. The menu is slightly bigger and so is the space (used to share the little white house with another business). I watched how this food was made back then and it still tastes just as amazing. Do yourself a favor and get the pork and slather it with Alabama sauce. Everything on the menu is amazing. You can't make a wrong choice here. Skip the chains and eat local!

Good bbq joint, had the pulled pork, sausage l, coleslaw, and beans. If this was in say Texas or Alabama I would say this would be a 4 star review but given that it's in Orem UT makes it a solid 5 for the area. I do recommend getting the coleslaw as the sauces tend to be a bit on the sweet side and the acidity of the dressing balance that out nicely. Overall a nice light smoke on the meat but could have used a bit more but that is not a big deal. Another because it's Utah thing I wish was different was not having a beer with my BBQ but hey it's Utah and I'm trying to get used to it so not their fault.

Don’t mess with any other meat — go straight for the brisket. Love how many sides they have, and their sauces are excellent. Also great portions. A little more pricey than I would like, but still worth a visit for special occasions
