My first time at the chocolate. It was great! We got a cazookie with chocolate chip and pb cookies, which was a great combination. It’s more expensive than The Wash in Provo, but was out much quicker. The building is cute but small and parking can be hard to find. There is additional parking in the back to the left of the building.
The Chocolate serves more than just chocolate and it’s tasty. I got the oatmeal cookie sandwich and it brought back memories of whoopie pies in Maine. The buttercream filling was silky smooth with no hint of graininess. The cakes on display looked all kinds of delicious. Definitely a place to try again.
Love this place! I haven’t eaten any treat here that I didn’t like. The old house makes your experience have an interesting atmosphere. Their cake is phenomenal and their skillet cookies are a great treat to share!
This place is fine and has a lot of dessert options. It is a bit over priced. For the price, I thought the cake would be amazing, it was just so so. It was good, but not as good as I thought. It also wasn’t as moist as I thought it would be. I would still come back, they have a bunch of other desserts that are good.
Some of the best cake, cookies, pizookies or other desserts around. Did our wedding cake with them and it was stellar!!. Also have had their pizookies and hot cocoa in house and both were amazing! The pizookies especially 🔥 And then I also tried to get a cake there one time but got sick and couldn’t pick up the cake until a couple days later and they were kind enough to offer me a refund or bake another cake for me. If you’re in Utah, definitely have to check them out sometime 🙌
The Chocolate has some really great treats. I love the cakes which are moist and flavorful and the variety of cookie flavors make it hard to choose. The staff is always friendly and happy to give their thoughts when you're trying to decide! One other observation is that the owners really do care about the well-being of their customers which is not typical these days. Thank you for your shop which supplies our area with some homemade deliciousness!
My favorite dessert place. We come nearly every week 😅 it's SO GOOD. Their cakes are DIVINE and I order them for all our special occasions. Their chocolate coconut cake is the best one, in my correct opinion. Also really love the cherub. Their salted caramel pretzel cookies and the biscoff cookie are mouth watering. And the cazookie! It's never a disappointment coming here.
All the desserts in the place are fantastic. Rich, sweet, and flavorful.
Pretty cool little place! It’s in an old house, and it has seating all over if you’re wanting to make a fun date night out of it. Perfect place to go for desert after dinner. They have quite a few tasty bakery items you buy and take out for on the go. It was delicious as well! I would definitely go again!
SO much better than all of the cookie chains in the area!!! Very reasonable prices, excellent quality treats and service. Plus, it’s a cute little shop with plenty of places to sit and eat. 10/10
The staff is really warm and pleasant, and always bend over backwards to take care of you. It's a really quaint, vintage home that they turned into the cafe and so every room had a unique feel, with its own color, art, and furniture. Great place to come hang out and get delicious sweet food. The chocolate chip cazookie is my favorite dessert here, but their cakes and cookies are amazing as well.
AMAZING desert! This is a great place to hang out and eat a slice of cake, or really any desert. They have everything. On Tuesdays they give you a free scoop of ice cream or free glass of milk with your treat if you’re following them on Instagram or Facebook. You can sit upstairs or downstairs. There’s tons of seating and each table has a cute little vase of fresh flowers. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was LOUD. Groups of women like to hang out and all talk, which is fine. It just gets really loud! We also waited probably 25 minutes for our slice of cake. I’m not sure if this is normal, but maybe don’t go if you have somewhere you need to be. It would be so fun if they had board games or something since people seem to enjoy hanging out for so long. We’ll probably go here again, but I’ll make sure I’m also with a group of girls instead of wanting quiet time with my husband! Haha
If you don’t absolutely love the chocolate, you’re insane. This is a favorite date night experience. You may want to try avoiding peak hours because it can get a littler crowded, not too crazy but a less intimate experience. The warm cookies with ice cream is heaven. Don’t get too exotic though because the best one is the chocolate chip. It’s a fun, cute dessert shop.
I love The Chocolate! I've been coming here for years. Literally everything on the menu is delicious but especially the Cazookie--highly recommend! Great for a 1st date or a 50th;) Go earlier to beat the crowds on the weekends. Fun for families during the day when it's not so crowded. New management has done a fantastic job with the takeover--we only miss those yummy funfetti cookies! Such a chill, nice atmosphere! FOH staff are kind and friendly! Can't say enough good things! Also their cake orders are a breeze, we've used them several times for birthdays etc.
So normally I like this place, but I definitely recommend staying there instead of getting takeout. I ordered take out and when I checked it it was completely smashed (pic provided)
My girlfriend held it the whole way so it definitely wasn’t dropped or anything. Overall I like the place but this was just kind of disappointing knowing that they put it in there for take out so they wouldn’t have to deal with it :/
UPDATE: The owner immediately reached out to me to apologize and explain the situation. We’re sure it was just an accident, and it still tasted great after eating it 👍🏼
We loved our cake and cookies. While they are open later, they do end up running out of some of their desserts. There is some seating there, but not tons.
I love this place.
Update - I've been here almost thirty times now. I've tried many of the cakes and some of the cookies. My top three favorite cakes are the peanut butter Oreo, mint Oreo, and the cherub.
Recently, I've fallen in love with the chocolate cookie sandwich. I also always get it with ice cream.
