Umami Japanese Barbeque - Orem - Photo album

Umami Japanese Barbeque offers a delightful all-you-can-eat buffet experience where you become the chef at your own table. The selection of meats, including Ribeye, NY Strip, and Wagyu beef, is a carnivore's dream. The interactive grilling experience adds a fun element to the dining, and the variety
This is the closest you will get to Yakiniku in Utah. There is a good variety of meats that are well worth the price. The sauces are a bit too sweet though, in my opinion. The service could have been better, as none of our empty plates were cleared from the table and our grill was never changed. I wo
This place has definitely an experience with it. The food is very good! And if your a carnivore who eats animals as his favorite food like me then they have plenty here! My favorite is the cow meats they have! But the pigs and chickens are so good too! The grills at tables make it really fun especia
10/10 service! They had so many different kinds of meats and foods to try. Fun for the kids to cook their own food. Decent price for lunch.
First time at Umami, and I must say it was fantastic. My son and I went for Saturday lunch. On the weekend it's the dinner menu all weekend but it was worth it! Waygu, Ribeye, and short ribs are a couple of items that are exclusive to the dinner menu. The Waygu was beautifully marbled and very tasty
So much variety of meats you can choose from. They have great sides you can eat. The only thing I would say is that it’s not really roomy feels like there’s no space to eat. Other than that food taste great.
Always have great experiences here. The food is delicious and I love that it’s buffet style so you don’t have to wait to get more. Night recommend giving it a try! Only been here for lunch but I’m sure dinner is even better.
So delicious! Came here for our anniversary dinner and they have so many selections of marinated meats, veggies, fruit, brown& white rice, miso soup, curry, gyoza, and more! I loved their imported orange soda, it was delicious! Cory was a great waiter, overall worth the price! I’m stuffed!
We loved our experience here. We picked a perfect time, 3:45 pm for our meal. The timing allows for lunch rates, but access to the “dinner” premium meats that come out at 4:00 pm. Lots of meat options. All the food we had was fresh. Cooking the meat at our own table allowed for the perfect cook eve
I loved this place!! Delicious sauces and perfectly seasoned raw foods to flame grill at the table. I got the hot green tea which was a perfect match for the food. The fruits were fresh. Great service and atmosphere. It was $22 per person for all you can eat. Make sure to try the spicy pork belly an
This place was amazing. I loved the self serve and how you can call the seven only when needed. The selection of meats and others was exceptional. The only thing I would add is a little guide for cooking. How long it what to look for.
I knew as a vegan I would have limited food options. But I enjoyed my visit. I grilled my own onions, garlic, pumpkin, and mushrooms. I choice brown rice. The fruit drink I order was actually very good and not too sweet. It was a papaya guava drink. Not something I usually order. I did not see optio
You cook your own food, that you picked out raw on a buffet. Great idea. However, the meat wasn't the best cuts. But to be honest to these folks... Good meat is scarce.
Nice atmosphere. Great selection of meats. Our table grill wasn’t very hot, which affects the taste of the grilled meat. The waiter had us go to another table and grill that worked perfectly. Can’t say enough about the customer service. A little pricey.
such a fun experience! the best Japanese bbq so far. i recommend to go with a empty stomach. the attention was very nice and everything was super clean. they have different sauces in the table, and rice options. the meat have already sauces, and so many different options. however, if you are craving
This is by far one of my most favorite restaurants. I love Korean barbecue, and there aren't a lot of good places for that here so we tried Umami and it was one of the best places I've tried. I love the Japanese-Korean fusion, and there's a huge selection of meats you can grill at your table, and th
The wagyu beef was my favorite! It was super fun to cook the food on the bbq in the center of the table. Something about every bite being piping hot makes it superior to getting a steak at a restaurant. Fun environment to chat with friends that we haven’t seen for a while as we cooked together.
Really great food, so many meat options, and very well flavored! I can't even remember all the different kinds of meat we tried. The dumplings were well done and the sesame shrimp were great! I wasn't a fan of the cocktail shrimp, but I never like those. My favorite was the chicken cooked with pinea
