Have been here many times and it never disappoints. All of the food I’ve had has been excellent and the atmosphere is classy and trendy. It’s a great place to grab drinks, meet up with friends or take a date. Great selection of sushi but done exceptionally well.

We came during Orlando Magical Dining, so was very busy! This took down the atmosphere to 4 stars. That's the negative. From there everything was so Great! The menu selection was perfect and had something for everyone in the party! Definitely would come back!

Hands down this restaurant became one of my favorites. Spotted this restaurant when driving by and it sounded interesting. Menu is great and diverse. The omakase was amazing. Highly reccomnd this as it was an entire experience. Each of their sushi rolls are also top knotch as well as priced very reasonable. Servicr was also some of the best that ive witnessed. Also the server folding up the paper and making origami was pretty amazing and added a nice touch. Will definitely be back when im in the area.

Loved it. The service was thorough and constant, the food was great, and, with magical dining, the price was fantastic. The vibe wasnt quite asianish, as it were, more fine dining, but still nice. Everyone was as smiles.
We had two different managers check in with us, and 3 different people stopped by to pick up dirty plates, etc.
We had all chosen to go for the magical dining menu, but I still order edamane on the happy hour menu. Which was a great choice, since we were waiting for another.
I had gotten Miso soup, which was nice and refreshing. Chicken kanaage which was hot and cripsy. Braised short ribs, which was pull apart tender and suaced very well. And the Green tea tiramisu, which was a nice capstone. My friends had gotten crab ragoon which was amazingly cripsy. The salmon Nagiri was good. The other mains tried were the black dragon, which was fantastic as well. And the garlic crab rice, which smelt amazing. We also tried the fried cheescake, which was great. It wasnt melted inside the shell, and held up well.
9.5/10, fine dining vibes are kinda foreign feeling to me.
Timothy Joyce
This place not only had really great food, the service was fantastic! For appetizers we had one order each of Beef, Pork and Fried Shrimp Bao and an order of Maitake Mushroom Fritters. Outstanding! For dinner I had the Smoky Dragon Roll that may have been the tastiest sushi roll I ever had. Even the coffee was great. I don't get to Orlando often however this place is on my A list for a return.

Finally an excellent Japanese izakaya in the Orlando area. Truly excellent food from the sushi to the inspired fusion dishes and beyond exceptional service by the staff, our server Tung went above and beyond in taking care of us!
Kenesha Coursey
Hands down the best sushi I've ever eaten. Everything about this restaurant was perfect, from the decor to the wait staff's attention to detail.

Food, service and atmosphere are 5 star here!! The happy hour specials are great as well. Definitely recommend!!

Loved being back at Dragonfly after traveling. We miss former employees but Diego made us feel just as welcome. We were happy to see the sliders back on the menu, and the warm spinach salad is still delicious. The happy hour wine is very nice, which is unusual for this area! We will return when we are in town.
Claudine McLamb
Went here on a Friday afternoon for happy hour with some co-workers. we sat outside, and it was absolutely beautiful with the Palm trees. We were able to see the sunset. we ordered some sushi and also ordered the sliders. We requested them to be well done. Let me tell you it was more of a charcoal done. We could actually taste the burntness of the Burger we had to douse it in spicy Mayo, the only thing the waiter and/or manager at the time stated when they came by and checked on us was ..Oh, we take our well done, very seriously. Cut it out.
Rob Lewis
I loved this place so much. I went here for fathers day. It was amazing. 35 day aged Ribeye and sushi. This is the best sushi I have ever had no lie. Give this place a shot.
Ashley Dawn
I came here for the first time last night for a work meeting and we had a great experience. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was good. The server was very knowledgeable about the current menu. We tried several things, but my favorites were the short ribs, the ginger salad, the bacon-wrapped mushrooms, all the sushi/sashimi we had was wonderful (the eel was very good), and for dessert the creme brûlée. Will definitely recommend!
Vanessa Prendes
Boyfriend and I were recommended this place for dinner. We absolutely loved it. Everything we ordered was amazing. The menu is very versatile and unique. I loved the Smokey Dragon roll and the Scallop kebabs. The red bean brownie was delicious and not overly sweet. I had the S. Blossom cocktail; sweet yet refreshing. Definitely will revisit this place the next time I visit Orlando. Wish there was one in Miami Beach.

Yesterday I went dined at Dragonfly for the first time and it was amazing! My server Patrick was awesome! He was fast and professional. The staff is great, the food was fantastic! Thank you everyone for a great experience. I will definitely come back with friends in the future!
Ashley Vanderlaan
Went for our anniversary and it was delicious! We got the sushi platter which is chef selection so it was an adventure but all yummy.
Noel Villahermosa Jr.
Went for the first time ever with my fiancé. She'd found the place online months ago and decided to finally give it a go. Best decision ever. Service was great. Our food was delicious. Will definitely return!
Katie Williamson
Amazing spot for a date night! The food and service were equally wonderful. You should know that the food does not come in combos with sides. It is a la carte. The fried garlic crab rice was great and the crunch roll, black dragon roll.
Cy Vincent
Happy hour prices made this place affordable. The food was all delicious (and we tried quite a few different items). The vibe and decor made the experience even better.
Rob Myers
Attended a special chef-to-table event. I cannot rave enough about the food! Started out with fire-grilled octopus salad which was fantastic! And each course thereafter was better than the last.
The service was outstanding as well! We were well tended to all night long. If you are in the Orlando area, love Japanese cuisine or are just adventurous in your dining, it's well worth a trip to sup here.

I first went to Dragonfly in Gainesville when I went to UF. Their Orlando location is even better! They have THE BEST vegan menu that I have ever seen Please bring back your tempura ice cream/cake!!!

Amazing sushi place! Loved it so much. Las Palmeras Hilton recommended it when I asked about sushi and I'm so glad they did. Most definitely one of the BEST restaraunts I've been to. The layout was wonderful and John was completely awesome. It's a little tricky to find, but well worth finding!! Thanks so much for the great evening!

I'm visiting from PR. First time in this restaurant and I loved it. One of the owners even came to our table. Amazing food and service!! Perfect place for when I visit again!

This was top shelf Sushi! Best I've had!
I would totally recommend Dragonfly to anyone visiting the Orlando area.
The Real Foodie Of Orlando
One of my favorite restaurants in Orlando! The sushi is always amazing. Our favorite server John makes it a great time with fun suggestions and he always remembers what we loved! Sashimi, to robata to ramen! All delicious.

Quite an amazing experience! My fiancé and I had never dined at this restaurant before. They were hosting an event the night we went called the "Omakase Adventure Dinner" which had been promoted through Orlando Weekly's date night ideas. The event was open to 40 people and was a 5 course meal with dessert. Our first plate was eaten blindfolded! This was followed by 4 more plates, some shared, some individual, all delicious! All of these plates focused on traditional and unique Japanese flavors. They explained each plate that was brought out and how it was prepared. It was an extremely exceptional experience with great atmosphere, fun people and amazing food!

So originally I had planned to go on a date to another restaurant but because of my poor, poor planning skills, my partner and I found out at the law minute that I was closed. I had been wanting to try Dragonfly for a while so on a spur of the moment decision, we headed towards Dr. Phillips. And we were not disappointed!

The restaurant is beautiful inside and the service is wonderful. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was superb! We had the Pork Cheek, two of their signature rolls and their Japanese doughnut desert. I would definitely like to come back and try more of their menu!
Aaron
Great fun! The food is great. Place has a fun energy. Make a point to go every time I am in Orlando. It is a must for sushi lovers. Recommend a reservation.

A contemporary izakaya, Dragonfly in Dr. Phillips, is a modern interpretation of the Japanese pub culture. Sushi, sashimi and robatayaki (an open-fire grill) are served tapas style, with a full sake bar in a relaxed, lounge environment. A departure from your standard sushi spot, the restaurant serves up an authentic Japanese menu with fresh selections from land and sea. From sushi to decadent seafood, you’re sure to experience fresh plates and find new favorites.
KDG
Really enjoyed the sushi here. High quality.

Never Again.... I don't understand why this place has so many great reviews!? Just because you are located in the "nice" part of Sand Lake does not mean you can rip people off. Portions are a joke and everything is tapas style but entree prices. $6 for 3ozs of grilled chicken, get real. Sushi rolls were good but nothing better than Sieto or even Amura. Service was not so great either. He was very annoying actually and tried to up sell us on everything we ordered. I think his name was Cameran?? If you do not mind paying $100 for 2 people for an average Japanese dinner then go for it but it's a rip off in my opinion.

Warning: This Article May Induce Drooling !! Recently I had the delicious pleasure of tasting Dragonfly Robato Grill and Sushi Restaurant ‘s new seasonal Omakase menu. The menu, developed around the word Omakase – Japanese for “ trust ” – encourages guests to select a mood and an ingredient. Once chosen, they are asked to trust the chef and/or bartender to craft a dish or drink based on their taste profiles.

Best Rehearsal Day Ever!. I recently had our rehearsal dinner at Dragonfly. First of all I want to say our extremely happy we were with everything! The food was delicious of course but it wasn't only about that. Dragonfly's staff was so amazing they treated us like gods on our special night. They were always helpful and no questions asked. They allowed us to customize our menu and there was so much food everyone left happy and with to-go-boxes. We will definitely go again and I highly suggest Dragonfly for any occasion especially big events.

Mar 30 2015 Easter Sunday is swiftly approaching, if you don’t have plans for that family brunch yet, here are a few options. Here’s to a glorious day with family and friends! American Gymkhana: Sunday Brunch from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. $25 per person: indulge in an entrée, such as the Lamb & Eggs slow cooked lamb, green peas, masala poached egg, pao bread served with two sides and two brunch cocktails. Taverna Opa Orlando: April 5-12 (Western Easter to Greek Orthodox Easter) Receive two complimentary red Greek eggs to play a round of tsougrisma , a Greek holiday tradition where players tap each other’s eggs until they crack. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Greek wine with every purchase of a lamb dish – check out the Kleftiko, a traditional lamb dish! Dragonfly Robata: Indulge traditionally at Dragonfly Robata with Tamagoyaki. Making the tamagoyaki is a skillful yet laborious process displaying the skill level of the chef as well as representing the quality of the restaurant. It’s similar to a very thin omelet where the chef laboriously rolls each layer one by one to form a solid block of elegant layered egg. When served the egg is cut off piece by piece and rested on top of sushi rice to form a nigiri. In Japan, sushi chefs spend many years perfecting the tamagoyaki before they’re allowed to even advance to the other stations. Select from nigiri options on the Sushi A La Carte menu this Easter. Soco: Sunday Brunch – 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Enjoy dishes ranging from Truffle-Infused Steak Tartare: Quail’s Egg Yolk, Crispy Chicken Skin, Toasted Baguette and Lobster Eggs Benedict: Buttermilk Biscuits, Benton’s Ham, Lobster Hollandaise. American Q: Easter Sunday Brunch

Good but definitely not great. Very cool space. Wait staff nice & attentive. Clearly a popular place as it was busy on a Sunday night (we're from out of town). Food was...good. We sampled from all over the menu and it was kinda the same across the board - 'pretty good' but not a ton of flavor. We even ordered the waiter's go to dish and it was just good. We liked the ice cream best if that says anything...

Keep going, Dragonfly - you're not far off on the food. My two cents...
Mm1975
Small plates for what you pay. Went there the other day and was not impressed at all. The rolls were good but pricey but as far as everything else the portions are a joke! If you have someone with you expect to spend at least $40 a person to get full

Dragonfly Roll. My friend took me here for my birthday and from that day this restaurant became my fav restaurant for life. The services is friendly, helpful, and amazing. The food is no word can describe it. You have to come to this place to eat sushi. Nothing could ever goes wrong with dragonfly roll.

Disappointing service. We were at Dragonfly last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose this place mainly because of the nice ambience. Even if we know that the food portions are ridiculously small and pricey. We made a reservation and came on time. Since we are not big alcohol drinkers, I ordered a big bottle of sparkling water and my husband Corona beer. The waitress came back twice to ask if I wanted sparkling water. I thought she understood me the first time so I said yes. The sparkling water came, but no beer. We decided to wait for awhile but it never came. The appetizer and sushi rolls came, still no beer. So my husband decided not to order it anymore. Then we noticed a glass of water on my side. My husband was wondering why there was only 1 glass of water. We are two, remember? Not a big deal though. We asked for the bill and my husband saw a sprite being charged. So we looked at the glass of water and checked it, it was sprite! So we informed the waitress that we didn't order that. She didn't apologize, just took the bill back and said she will take it off. On our way out, we asked the gentleman at the reception, if the waitress speaks english well. He said yes. So I explained to him the confusion with the orders. He said he will take note but didn't seem apologetic either. On our way out we bumped into the owner himself, Mr Hiro. We explained to him what happened. He was very nice and apologized in behalf of his staff. He even offered a drink free but we were already turned off. This may not be a big deal to other people but to us it is, because it happened on our anniversary. We were there to enjoy and relax. If this happened in Japan, no matter how small the incident is, the Japanese waiter/waitress will be apologizing profusely and will try to make it up to save face. It was not our first time in Dragonfly, but it will definitely be the last.

This restaurant was recommended to a group of people I was in. The wait was LONG as we were a table of 8 but I can definitely say it was worth the wait.
Our server Ashley gave impeccable service and was right on our level. The food was diverse and amazing. My cocktail was beyond tasty.
In Orlando there are a lot of expensive restaurants that just don't deliver. Dragonfly was affordable, enjoyable, and delicious.

Then there is the fried cheesecake.....there aren't words enough to describe how tasty it was. Ashley highly recommended it and it did not disappoint! Neither did she, Ashley was an amazing example of great customer service. I was WOWed!!!!

Don't be fooled by fake reveiws!!!! Most overrated sushi in central FL. Service isn't great either. Amura and Moonfish both have much better sushi, as well as Fishbones.

The most amazing place I've been to in a while. Thanks.

Great place, great food n great service
we'll be back n tell friend how awesome this place

Absolutely Wonderful!. I have eaten here twice and have been overwhelmed by the food. It is amazing! My favorites are the bacon wrapped asparagus and the white prawns! You must try the grill items! The sushi is also some of my favorite. The other Japanese food is not an afterthought though, like at some other sushi restaurants. Try everything! We had the Ramen noodles (I know what you're thinking...) They were so good! We had the Dragon Roll, The Bomb Roll, and the Black Dragon...each one better than the next! Everyone raves about the Cucumber compulsion martini. You will have a great dinner and a wonderful evening!! We did!

Excellent risotto. It's topped with a few pieces of salmon on top but the salmon really isn't that good.

Best ever!. This place is incredible and I can't wait to go back. Our server Matthew was amazing! He explained all the best dishes, things we have never tried before but risked and was very satisfied. The ambiance is beautiful! It makes you feel relaxed and in paradise. Best item was the Cobra Kei and the Mango Tango. Best Sushi and service ever! I will be going back soon.

Amazing Sushi. This place was everything I wanted it to be. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, and it was amazing. The ginger salad was great, and the sushi was even better. It can be slightly pricey but it is all worth it. The setting is nice; very well decorated place to impress a date or for a special occasion. I recommend the "Bomb" and "Godzilla" roll. They were both delicious.

Amazing Dining Experience. We celebrated my husband's birthday at Dragonfly... Service was great, the food was delicious... overall perfect!! We (all 20 of us) loved it!! A must-try!!

Wow, truly an amazing dinner. We've been here over a dozen times & it just gets better every time. Atmosphere, service & best sushi in Orlando. It's a no brainier!

Seriously top notch Sushi. I have been eating sushi 1-2 times a week for as long as I can remember, so when in Orlando I wanted to try something really nice and unique. I was pleasantly surprised by Dragonfly. I usually eat at "traditional" japanese sushi bars so was nervous with the classy and upscale decor, but it was fabulous! I started with the scallop carpaccio and it was so good I almost ordered another one. I also had ikura nigiri and an "uni shooter" which is served with a quail egg. Both were salty and sweet and simply wonderful. The Yellowtail with Ginger-Scallion came with Shirasu, which is little microscopic baby dried anchovies. This was a great addition that I completely enjoyed. The tuna kobachi was nice but nothing special, tasting of sriracha with tuna chunks. Finally, I had the Euro Trance roll, which is a fresh roll wrapped in cucumber. Crispy and bright flavored, this roll was gone quickly. This restaurant has a "maitre d'" type position and he approached me twice during the evening. Not only did he ask me about my meal but he tried to found out a little about me and found I like to eat out-of-the-way things, so he brought me a taste of a special whelk they got in that day. The older couple next to me ordered peppers off the hot grill there and he brought them 3 types of dipping sauces that it clearly normally doesn't come with. That kind of service you don't find much anymore these days. They have a decent sake menu and I ended up drinking *ahem* $50 in sake alone. With all the above sushi I ended up with a bill around $125 for just me. So although this is not a place for 'cheap' sushi, I personally don't trust cheap sushi bars and I would try to save up all my money and eat here every chance I got if I lived closer. I was there on a Friday night at 7pm and I was the only one at the sushi bar. . .what is wrong with you Orlando? EAT THERE!

BEYOND ANY EXPECTATION. Wow, Delicious, Unique, Never Before Have I Experienced Sushi like what Dragonfly has. All of us were taken aback by the flavors and creative dishes the Waiter Chose for us. This Sushi melts in your mouth - just amazing! Already have plans to go back! Our waiter was extremely helpful and delightful to interact with. Extremely satisfied with my dining experience at Dragonfly!

GREAT EXPERIENCE. On our visit to Orlando, we knew we would have many exceptional options for dining out, but were so surprised to find one our first nght out. The atmosphere was wonderful, our server, Louis, was lovely and knowledgable of Dragonfly's menu, and was able to steer us in the right direction. The Crispy U-10 Shrimp were so amazing we ordered a second batch, the miso soup was the best any of us has ever had, and some of us tried a specialty mojito so delicous that the bar tender gave us the recipe to try to duplicate at home in Maine. Dragonfly's manager was friendly and warm-hearted, thus the whole experience enjoyable and very satisfying.

Sushi fans are a fan of Dragonfly. I organize a Dining group on Facebook named Suckers for Sushi. About twice a month we embark on new culinary adventures and were not disappointed with our first or second outings to Dragonfly. The first time we sat on the patio and enjoyed a nice casual feast of new food combinations. Most recently we returned for the holidays and had such an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived the hospitality was excellent and the food a delight. The Happy Hour food and drink menu was great quality for the price. The highlight was when the manager arranged for us to try the exquisite garlic rubbed escolar sashimi platter. Mouthwatering! Already looking forward to the next visit!

Thank you and your staff for making my wife and I feel like VIP's. The customer service (as well as the food) has made us loyal patrons. I will say that Dave may be one of the best Manager/ Host in Orlando. Its one thing to visit with the guest who frequent your restaurant often and make them feel important, but my wife and I felt like VIP's on our first visit.
We now have a standing reservation every week and usually don't wait to use it. We now enjoy taking our friends and clients out for sushi in a sophisticated, but not pretentious environment. We have tried almost everything on the menu. Some of it does not fit our taste, but it is all quality and has been worth the adventure.
Thank you for bringing stylish and affordable dining to the Dr. Phillips area in Orlando.
John Spence
Fantastic!!!!. I have eaten many times at the Dragonfly in Orlando and the one in Gainesville - they are both truly fantastic. Superb food - very fresh, deliciously prepared, elegantly presented. The service it top-notch -- wait staff is polite, attentive and knowledgeable. It can get crowded -- but that also makes for a great vibe. I would definitely put D-fly on my "top restaurants" list!!! I go there whenever I am in Orlando.
Faith Knight Hubbs
The average rolls were special and the specialty rolls were ehh, just average.. Nice atmosphere and food service.

Not what I was expecting. We went here because we were in search of dinner late at night. The kitchen is open until 11:30p on the weekend. Upon approaching the restaurant, I hear dance music playing out on the patio. I had hoped this was for the patio/bar scene and the rest of the restaurant would be quieter. Wrong. My companion and I could barely hear each other while trying to talk over dinner. I was also disappointed to find that although the food costs the same as a typical entree, it is tapas portions. The server didn't mention this until we had already ordered, in a by-the-way fashion, even after he had asked us in the beginning if it was our first time dining there. Luckily I didn't want a large meal so late at night, so it worked out. But, if I had been coming here for a regular dinner, I would have been disappointed. We ordered the garlic snow crab fried rice, and the loch duart salmon, which were both good and went well together. The sushi was good, ordered the kamacrazy and ultimate salmon, but nothing to rave about. The positives are that even though it was two of us, they sat us at a four person table, which I always appreciate for a little extra room when there are multiple plates in front of you. Also, the server was friendly. All in all, it was ok but I wouldn't go back. I will stick with my usual sushi place of Seito Sushi across the street in the future.
Love Food
You must (I repeat must) eat here!. So, I visit Dragonfly ever time I am in Orlando (on business). The sushi here is soooooo good (and fresh). They have a great happy hour (food and drinks) and is a nice (late) spot on the weekend. There is a private room in the restaurant (good for large parties, girls nights and business meetings).

Great sushi. Skip the Robata grill, it wasn't worth it.

Sushi. Ordered the Surf and Turf roll, and the Dragonfly roll. They were both amazingly delicious. Will be back.

Pretty good. We've been here three times now. First time was a disaster, and we decided not to go back until some friends of ours forced us to. Second time the food was really awesome, but too much attitude from the waitress for my liking (like the first time). Third time around I have to say the staff are still way too self-possessed - what is it with sushi restaurants that the staff think it's all about them? Same thing with all the sushi places we've been to in Orlando, the staff are "too cool for school" and seem to forget who's deciding the tip.

But anyway, the food has been really good here the last two times, and the service is OK if you can manage to get over how incredibly self-possessed the staff are. Overall I can recommend Dragonfly with the caveats already stated.

Must visit!!. Dragonfly is one of my favorite place to visit in the Sandlake area. My friends in Gainesville have always raved about the one up there so I was really excited for this one to open. I've been here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed by the food or service!

The food here is awesome! The miso yaki black cod is amazing, I really don't know how to describe it except it's warm, buttery, and just melts in your mouth. The Shari Risotto is a must try, and it's even better that it's on their happy hour everyday from 5-7PM ;) Every time someone mentions Dragonfly, I immediately recommend the risotto. I would come back just for it. Yes, I think it's that good. As for their sushi, you can't go wrong with the Dragonfly roll (their signature) or Crunch roll.

The service here is always on point. The servers are super friendly and attentive, I never felt rushed and they always made sure everything was going well. The atmosphere is great, super chic and modern from the lounge/waiting area to the outdoor patio seating. They also have this awesome fountain right outside the restaurant which makes it a perfect photo op while waiting to get seated or after dinner. This is the perfect place to go on a date or even with a group of friends. I can't wait to go back!

My Birthday Dinner. Hi there,

I really wanted to check this place out for myself. I've seen many postings about Dragonfly on facebook that I decided to have my Birthday dinner here. I must say the place is beautiful, beautiful decor, nice hostess, cool surroundings and a great location. The food was awesome, it was family-tapa style which meant more food to taste at our table as we had many different dishes. The portions were perfect for sharing and conversation.

The only negative was the service. Our waiter, Michael, was off and we had to constantly ask for things like a fork, more water, another drink, splenda, etc. All his tables were constantly waiting for him to show up with the needed items. He constantly reached over/across the table rather than walking around. The place wasn't that busy at 7pm on Sunday!

Other than that, the prices were reasonable. We ended up paying $113 for 4 people. I'd would like to come back and give it another try.
Christine
Great food and I love the tapas portions!

A large group in your party...No problem!. February 4, Fri: I was a guest here along with 16 other people, a total of 18 at our table. What an amazing experience! Our waitress and servers were absolutely top notch servers. Our party enjoyed an evening outside on the patio by candlelight. We ordered and sampled almost everything on the menu from the appetizers to the sushirolls. The servers kept our wine glasses full with the Markham Chardonnay, and Markham Cabernet which went very well with the variety of food selections.
I plan to re-visit again soon.

Dragonfly is a Winner -. We are sushi novices, but have been trying a lot as of late. Dragonfly is an upscale, trendy sushi restaurant, and has fantastic food.

Our server, Phillip, was very knowledgeable and put us onto several of his favorites, which ended up being great.

The sashimi maguro and sake were nice and fresh. Our favorite rolls (maki) were the Bahama Mama (conch), Flying Dragon (Cal. roll with eel), Fire Me Up Wasabi, Krunch, Cobra Kai, the Dragon Fly, and the Black and Bleu (steak). Needless to say, we ate and tasted a lot.

If you are a fan of a Bloody Mary, don't forget to try theirs. Dragonfly also has an extensive bar and wine list.

Both our ten and five year old loved it, and the staff was able to accomodate some pasta and fried shrimp for the youngest.

The price for a family of four was about $75 to $100 with several cocktails and a taste of lots of different things -

We will definitely be going back -

Grits and Such . . . Yum Sushi. This place was fantastic, great sushi, great service. Will be back again.

Just what orlando needed!!!. After seeing that another Japanese sushi place was opening in Orlando I thought "Just what we needed..another sushi bar. Boy was I in for a surprise. This place is EXACTLY what we need! It is far from the normal sushi restaurant. Our waiter , Michael, explained about the concept of Dragonfly and then proceeded to guide us through the menu and also suggested a wine that went perfect with our rolls. The hospitality that he and all the other servers there gave us was overwhelming. You have to try the Black Dragon and Surf and Turf when you go. The management really seemed to care alot as you could tell by their smiles and sincerity in their voices. I hope this one is around for a long long time

Dragonfly Sushi I-drive's Newest Venue. Try to imagine an experience so unique from your "traditional" Asian restaurant, you'll wish to book your next trip to Tokyo Japan, but you won't have to....Escape now to an alternative to the same old sushi bar..."Dragonfly Izakaya" on Sand Lake rd in Orlando will delight your taste buds and satisfy your craving for an edible adventure. With its contemporary atmosphere to creative line up on the menu, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the value of the "try and share concept", and you'll leave full and content. Our server Adam's suggestions were "Spot On", I truly enjoyed the "Warm spinach and shitake salad, the "Bacon-Enoli" app, and the "Surf and Turf" as well as the "Black Dragon" roll...they also offer dining with a view on the semi private patio and a full liquor bar with a splendid variety of Sake.**** Four Stars from this patron, I"ll be back often and with friends.

I had no real plan, and no destination in mind. I just knew I wanted to go somewhere that I could sit outside and enjoy the warm temperatures that I had been missing for so long in Seattle. I parked, started walking around, and pretty quickly settled on Dragonfly. There was an outside space that was covered from the elements and have a TV for watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals (a debacle for the Canuckleheadz for sure). And normally I'm pretty wary of sushi outside of the West Coast, but by the look of the place, and considering it is Orlando, I figured they would do alright.
