On yelp this place had a 3.5 but we decided to try it anyway since we are staying at B Resort & Spa. I must say the service and the food quality were both excellent! The ladies at the front hostess table were very friendly and Jose S. (Our server) was exceptional and went the extra mile to #Bpersonal- which he told us was his motto! I had the skirt steak with the kitchen fries and both came out fresh! My husband had the AK grass fed burger and it was cooked to perfection along the the salad which was also very fresh. We had the earthquake chocolate cake for dessert and it was amazing. Not overly sweet but perfectly chocolatey. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, not sure why the reviews on other sites were bad. I will definitely come back!

If you recall back in 2014, I told you about American Q, which was a rodízio-style concept offering a modern take on classic barbecue. Just picture the ultimate Americana version of of Texas de Brazil or Fogo De Chao, and you get the picture. I loved American Q very much and thought it had potential, but alas it was not to be.In its place American Kitchen Bar & Grill has opened up with a more refined concept that is a is a take on traditional American dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients from local Florida farms. At American Kitchen, you can dine at communal tables or in an intimate booth with friends and family and take your taste buds down “Gin Lane” with American Kitchen’s revival on classic cocktails with a modern twist. The menu features a variety of selections such as “For the Table” or “Tidbits” from the Pantry. American Q was an all you can eat rodizio style concept with a few menu selections, but mostly in the fashion of Texas de Brazil with a never ending serving of meats with a gigantic salad bar. American Kitchen is menu options only, with a very focused menu that has something for everyone. At American Kitchen you can start with a family style Low Country Boil or the Signature Smoke Platter followed up with Pretzel Dusted Fried Okra or Brown Butter Kitchen Fries. The old Red truck at American Q was the spot for the salad bar, but American Kitchen has kept it along with much of the decor and turned it into a living garden where they harvest all of the greens and herbs used to create signature dishes. American Kitchen Bar & Grill proudly takes part in the farm to table movement with food inspired by regional American cuisine. We found the menu to be dynamic with good offerings and a good hand crafted cocktail selection that should make it worthy for you to visit.

Oktoberfest is here, and what better way to celebrate than with barbecue and pairings of beer? For the month of October, American Q is offering up a prix fixe of festival-themed fare. Join them for bites of house-made Pretzel Bread, Beer Cheese, Bratwurst and Sauerbraten, all paired up with seasonal sips of Brooklyn Brewery Octoberfest, Dogfish Head Punkin Ale and Orlando Brewing Grateful Pumpkin.

Y’all. Ten rounds of meat, hearty cocktails and whiskey. Amazing, right? Last week we were treated to so many fabulous flavors in one sitting at American Q, my heart was so happy. Located steps away from the theme park madness is a little oasis named B Resort & Spa complete with one fabulous dining spot, American Q. From the flank steak to shaved pineapple and heirloom tomatoes – everything we sampled was divine!

You don’t have to grow up in a large Italian family to become a great Chef, but it doesn’t hurt, either. Chef Justin Leo, of “American Q” Restaurant, has many fond childhood memories helping in his grandmother’s kitchen. “My grandmother was a great cook, and she always made everything from scratch. She made everything for all the family events and get-togethers, and she even started her own small catering business.” Although he worked through high school helping out in this business, he never really considered it a “real” profession. “I decided to go to college and study computer engineering, but it just didn’t hold my interest. I was unsure what to do, and then my mom suggested I study cooking.” Chef Justin was in the first class to graduate with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from his college in Buffalo, New York. “It was a great time, a great learning experience. All the instructors were locally renowned chefs, so we were really being mentored in what makes cooking an art form.”

Best service that I have had the entire week in Orlando and great food. Their buffet is similar to a Brazilian style steakhouse but with BBQ. Everything was tasty with just enough smoke flavor without overpowering. The only suggestion would be some additional sauces for the meats.

Seriously good BBQ meats and a whole lot more.... The all new American Q at the B Resort is open for business, and they may be in the running for best beef brisket in Central Florida. American Q is a rodízio-style concept offering a modern take on classic barbecue. Just picture the ultimate Americana version of of Texas de Brazil or Fogo De Chao, and you get the picture. At the helm is Executive Chef Justin Leo, who has curated a unique menu that caters to the palates of barbecue enthusiasts, highlighting the flavor profiles of more than a dozen regions throughout the United States and Latin America.

As soon as you enter, the first thing you see is the hard to miss ’51 cherry red Ford F1 pickup truck sitting front and center. Its a really cool truck, and comes loaded with its own flatbed buffet. Guests are welcomed into a completely transformed industrial country-style setting with multiple seating options that range from a communal table to booths and a semi-private dining room that seats 40. The look inside is set amidst the charm of a distressed brick smokehouse, a barn-inspired wood-clad bar and mason jar chandeliers.

For $34.95 per person (tax and gratuity additional), you can indulge in an all you can eat barbecue journey. Start with more than 20 selections from the flatbed, which highlight Florida’s fresh produce, specifically micro-greens, lettuce and tomatoes. House made specialties like the daily soup and chili and a selection of seasonal salads like a Florida tomato salad are just a few of your options. Of course nothing says Americana like a baked potato bar and a baked sweet potato bar. There are other made from scratch sides too, like spinach gratin and house apple & caraway slaw as well as a touch of the south with Gulf peel & eat shrimp.

After you visit the buffet, its time to loosen up your belt a few notches and get ready for the rodízio parade of barbecue meats and poultry. You will get an endless selection of slow smoked turkey drum, cold smoked & grilled turkey thigh with turkey chorizo stuffing, bacon wrapped boneless chicken thighs, house made sausages, smoked pork shoulder, Texas bark beef brisket, picanha of beef, Carolina style flank steak and vegetable brochette. You then have the option of having the complementary soft serve ice cream for desert, or you can order off of the ala carte menu.

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant a few times now over the past few days. The quality of the food and drinks is very high, which is nice to have close by when staying in and around the Disney Resort (without having to trek into the very busy Disney Springs). The service we have received from the staff has been excellent too; special mention for Karren who has provided GREAT service. He is very friendly and attentive. We are very happy customers!

Large restaurant inside B Resort & Spa. I visited after 2 long daya at magic kingdom and Epcot. Eric was our server and he was literally a one man show...ther than whomever is working the kitchen. He provided great service, provided he had no help! The food was delicious and was ready in a timely manner.

I hope what I’m about to say is taken seriously, and not just some over-the-top dramatized review. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my life. The food was amazing first of all. The main thing for me was your bartender. I forget his name, he’s from Armenia though. So kind and accommodating in addition to being a top notch bartender. I’m not lying when I say this, it was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. He was truly a master of his craft, and it was an absolute pleasure to be served by him.

Fantastic restaurant at the B Ocean Resort. Karren the bartender is one of the kindest, most enthusiastic, charismatic and positive energy humans you will meet! Great spot to hang with a warm and inviting vibe. Greek salad was fresh and delicious and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the lovely dinner and company!

It is usually really hard for to give a restaurant a 5 star review but this is so well deserved! First off the service was amazing! Karren was amazing! Great personality, goes above and beyond, personality was out of this world, and very knowledgeable! Now the food…..HANDS DOWN the best food I have ever had! I ordered the chicken parm and my boyfriend ordered the pork chop! Both were amazing but oh my god the pork chop! It is extremely difficult to go to a restaurant and get a pork chop that is not dry. When I tell you this pork chop was cooked perfectly it was also paired with a topping that was amazing but a sweet potato purée and full carrot and broccoli florets! Words cannot explain! If you are in the area you HAVE to go! Thank you Karren you made our trip!

Worth the trek! We were looking for a good dinner, and were frankly surprised at just how good it was! We looked at the restaurants at a Disney Springs. I’m sure there are some good ones, but we were getting tired of the prices and crowds. What we didn’t expect to find down the street was fine dining! The service was excellent. We had a gluten intolerant guest - they went out of the way to accommodate us. Hassan was an excellent waiter and the owners should be proud of how he showcases their passion for food. The food was inspired, flavourful and well executed. The portions were generous and the price was a bargain compared to what else we had enjoyed during our time at Disney. Have a look at the menu, and take the shuttle from Disney Springs or take the short walk down there - you won’t regret it.

We chose this restaurant sorely because of location and had the biggest surprise. We eat out a lot, and I can honestly say this was the best dining experience this year. The bartender, Karren, was the best ever. He made the burthday celebration with our granddaughter so special. We ate what he suggested and had the best calamari and steak we've ever eaten. The drunks were amazing. Wish we could have cloned Karren and taken him home to South Florida. Can't wait to go back.

The food was ok! Service was great! Over priced for what we ordered. We paid $61 just for a omelet and eggs breakfast. $5 for toast… but oh well!

Not too busy on a Saturday night - our table of five was quickly greeted and seated near the fully restored 1943 Pickup. The bartender was quick, polite and offered suggestions and a sample of the Orange Blossom Pilsner, which we ordered and easily finished off. The entrees were two Smokehouse Sandwiches, 1 smoked brisket with fries, a shredded pork with fries and the fish tacos. The fish tacos were excellent and the house sauce made them. All reviews of the brisket and pork were positive - the coleslaw was a perfect addition along with the pickles. Even the fries were all consumed. Great place.

Great twist on classic American cuisine. The ribs are phenomenal and the dry aged steaks melt like butter. Great service and clean restaurant. I enjoyed the rustic ambience.

The food was absolutely exquisite, some of the best American food I’ve had down in Florida! The aesthetic/mood of the entire restaurant matched exactly with the food. Great for a stop-in, or even to quickly grab something to eat! Service is really nice and kind, especially with the jokes!

So I first came across this location on IG and was immediately intrigued. Then to add chocolate sauce they were added to Magical Dining. The items offered were a good selecting, and we also went in time for happy hour that finished at 7pm. The meal was excellent, down to the desserts; that apple pie was on another level. But the star of my show was this Taco baby, I thought she was going to be a normal Taco, but baby as you can see she was not. It was delicious in every aspect of the word. I plan to return, not just for the food but the ambiance as well as the wonderful service.

We had the best dinner here. Fish tacos were delicious - light with a very tasty sauce, and the black beans were the best I’d ever tasted. Husband had salmon Caesar salad, also delicious. Nice IPA on tap, “be chill” mixed drink was good. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Caron (not sure if I’m spelling that right) was great. Will definitely go back.
