Cítricos was fun! I was expecting to like it as much as I did! This review was from a couple years ago during the pandemic so the service & atmosphere was not top tier. However, the food was delicious! We have a big family so we shared a lot of different dishes. For appetizers we had the hamachi crudo, the duck tagliatelle, & the pork belly. I am a sucker for hamachi and this was delicious! It was also a good portion for a raw fish dish which made it shareable for the others at the table. One of my favorite dishes. The duck was cooked through a bit more than we would’ve liked due to the smoking but the flavors were delicious. My sister loves duck & she enjoyed this dish. To me it didn’t need the pasta but I could see why others loved it. Pork belly with almost a hash brown type sweet potato & plantain croquette & salsa verde. This is really a sleeper dish. It isn’t super large in terms of sharing but the flavors are impeccable. Definitely recommend. For entrees we had the tilefish & short rib with a side of their signature truffle Mac n cheese. I thought the tilefish with chorizo risotto was delicious. It’s always nice to see a fish dish in Florida that’s not grouper, mahi, or snapper on the menu. My husband had the short rib & he really enjoyed it. The guava sauce was too sweet for me but perfect for him. Everyone at the table enjoyed the Mac & cheese and could see why it’s a signature. In my opinion it was too much cream & needed more truffle but they liked it. For desserts we tried the torte, the flan, and the blackberry tart. I love chocolate desserts but I did not like the torte. It’s pretty but primarily hard chocolate petals that hurt your mouth and very little cake or filling. I wouldn’t get it again. My husband loved the brûléed flan & he is a flan connoisseur so that’s saying something. Don’t sleep on the blackberry tart surprisingly that was the favorite of the night! Lemon Bavarian & blackberry mousse with meringue. It’s hard to explain but the flavors complimented each other beautifully. Would get it again. They also served us some beautiful & delicious artisan chocolates for a birthday. Nice touch! Downsides were the service was not the best & the decor is outdated & plain not really any theming even though they’ve been renovated. However, we would definitely return!

Wow!!! This restaurant is everything we thought it would be, and then some. The food was extraordinary, and the restaurant itself is plush, bright and elegant. The real shining star though was our waiter, Larry. He elevated our entire experience, and helped to ensure that we had a magnificent time.

Had a great time. Date night with the wife. We started with some drinks and 2 apps which was duck breast and the wild mushroom arcncini both where fantastic. My wife got the filet and I got the tile fish for our main course. The main dishes were cooked to perfection. We also got the addons of truffel mac and cheese, green curry cauliflower, and grilled marbled potatoes. We finish dinner with a latte for the wife and a expresso for myself. We also asked for a recommendation on a dessert and the blackberry tartelette was great. Over-all it was a great night Javier was our waiter and was very good all his recommendations were great and and will be back.

There are truly no words to express the dining experience at Citrico. My husband and I celebrated my birthday and to say this restaurant was worth every penny is an understatement ! From the food literally melting in your mouth, to the delicious drinks and service from all staff.. just wonderful. Highly recommend for a date night, you can plan to watch the fireworks and then head over to dinner or vice versa ♥️

A truly amazing experience. From being greeted from the hosts who walked us to meet our server, Nadim who sat us. The sweet corn bisque was amazing. The mushroom aranchini was to die for. If you’re not vegan, don’t stray away from it because it’s vegan. It’s the best appetizer I’ve ever had. The entrees were amazing as well, my boyfriend got the short ribs & I got the (vegan) bolognese pasta! Most beautiful presentation ever. The blackberry tartlets for dessert was amazing too. Overall, the service, ambiance, and food has placed citricos as our #1 favorite (deluxe) restaurant at Disney! Thank you again Nadim for an excellent experience!

Every course was a journey. You have to get the pork belly. It's insanely good. I also got the side enhancements of Truffle Mac and Grilled potatoes.
Definitely get the Guava Short Ribs!
The chocolate tart is so-so. Go with the blackberry tartlet.

The food is top notch, service impeccable, and the remodeled interior is classy. I think I preferred the old interior, it felt more like old Florida. The new interior is nice, but doesn't evoke that sense of Florida's golden past.
I ordered the short ribs, and a side of the truffle mac and cheese to share with my date. She also ordered the short ribs. The mac and cheese was delicious, with a very present truffle taste, without being overpowering. The cheese was cheesy, although I feel like overall it was a bit too much cheese sauce and not enough pasta. The short ribs were ridiculously tender, and the guava added a hint of sweetness. The cheese grits were excellent, just the right consistency, and the sauce accompanying the meal was rich and had a nice kick.
I'd absolutely dine here again, and plan to in the near future.

This is a great place to go out for a dinner date. If you're a local I would recommend it. The steak was tender and juicy. The mash potatoes were silky smooth. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. The pork belly was good, but not sharable. The mushroom app was delicious. It is a little pricey, but well worth it.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant! David was so personable, conversational, friendly, attentive…not enough words to describe his exceptional service! Thank you for making our day the best of the whole trip! Kudos to the chef for the sinful filet mignon with bordelaise sauce, bacon jam, and potato puree!! The blackberry tartelette was not too sweet and very light. The remodel is also very beautiful. Can’t wait to come back here.

We were absolutely blown away by Citricos. I had heard decent things before but never anything to make me believe it would be in the conversation as best restaurant on Disney World property but I think it's my new favorite. Every single thing we tried was phenomenal. Even the cocktails were amazing. Spent $200 for a party of 2 but it was well worth the cost. We immediately booked another reservation to return again.

Our second visit and better than the first and the first was outstanding. Matt our server was a great attentive and friendly. The food was probably the best we have ever had and we like to eat at fine dining establishments. Definitely our new favorite Disney fine dine spot.

The food was beyond belief and the bread! Oh that bread is the kind of bread that changed my life! I’m so glad we went. Definitely a great place for date night. Wanna impress that special someone? This is the place. It’s swanky, it’s high class, it’s classical. The food is a Mediterranean Italian mix and is divine.

Last night was our second visit to Citricos. Rony, our waiter, was outstanding! My husband and I started with the cheese platter for an appetizer, which was a nice variety and very tasty, followed by the beef filet. The beef was cooked perfectly and cut like butter. We got the tropical fruit creme brûlée for dessert. We had gotten it the last time we visited and it surely didn’t disappoint. It’s huge! So leave room for it (we shared one).

Averaging our two visits over our stay at the Grand Floridian, I will have to give it 3 stars. Our first experience was lovely. Our waitress was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and truly a gem. She even gave recommendations for further Disney Dining. We had wonderful seats, the Heirloom Salad was divine, the Bell and Evans chicken was average, and the Mango Lime sorbet was incredible. The second time around was incredibly disappointing. The Heirloom salad was not like the first night, including the presentation. It seemed to be thrown onto the plate, the burrata was bland, and the accompanying vegetables were subpar. What a difference from the first night. The mango lime sorbet was again wonderful, so I very much enjoyed that. Our waiter was unenthusiastic and quite frankly could do better.
MAJOR CRITIQUE AND RECOMMENDATION: For a restaurant that requires us to pay over $100 more on top of a deluxe dining plan, it should have acceptable house tap water. Even the Grand Floridian Cafe downstairs has great house water. The establishment REALLY needs to take this to heart and invest in a proper house filter. It's by far the worst tasting tap water.... possibly a bit worse than what came from our sink in the room. For a fine dining establishment this is completely unacceptable. The inconsistency of quality and presentation was surprising and disappointing.

Me and my Fiancé went here for a nice dinner while visiting Disney. We were greeted by our waitress Ann. She was a bundle of joy, she made sure we were taken care of and always had great convos with us! She’s a keeper! Outstanding service. Me and my fiancé had the scallop risotto and the halibut with rice! Both extremely delicious. I would come back without a doubt !
