The eggs Benedict was amazing , I really enjoyed the tomato salad on the side, a very refreshing and classic dish. Superb staff!! Highly recommend going there even though the prices are high they match any other fine dining facility in cost but , the service supersedes in excellence.

We love the Grand Floridian cafe! Everything we have tried has been fantastic but the turkey meatloaf and fresh fried mozzarella takes the cake. They go over the top for birthdays and anniversary’s and give you the most beautiful desserts on the house! I highly recommend it!

The lobster burger is the bomb diggity. Do people still say bomb diggity? Highly recommended. Messy but delicious. Lots of lobster.

I loved this experience. The food was simple, but well prepared and delivered hot. Our kids enjoyed their Minnie Mouse pancakes with sprinkles and the service was stellar. Even after we arrived over 30 minutes late for our reservation we were seated and served quickly. I highly recommend this establishment.

The food was a 4 by itself but the thing that made this rating a 5 was the service. The service alone was 5 stars! Our waiter, Rob from MO, was fantastic! He was so attentive and on top of everything from refilling the kids drinks, bringing out new adult beverages, and meeting the needs of children with allergies. My husband who doesn’t give out compliments easily said Rob was “Top notch”. Thanks for the great experience and meal!

Javier, our wonderful server, went above and beyond in making the whole party of eight feel so special. This included giving a cup cake to the winner of the ‘ice on a straw’ game!

Delicious LUNCH great selection & server. It was our 28th wedding anniversary. I really thought we should have been given 2 cup cakes for 2 people. No only 1. Plus we ordered dessert sampler. A 3 course meal.

Grand Floridian Café is located on the first floor of the Grand Floridian Resort. The restaurant is at the back of the main building which offers views of one of the pool areas and other buildings on the grounds. It is a bright and open space with an ambiance similar to The Plaza Restaurant in The Magic Kingdom, but much larger. The service on my visit was excellent and the food was all fresh and prepared as ordered. I had the Reuben, which was great, and my daughter enjoyed the Mickey Waffle.

A bit pricey. Good food and great service from our server Mao.steak and eggs were good. Parking sucks!! If you are only dining and not a registered Guest, they make you park across the street from the hotel.

Update: We ate again July 2023- same experience as January 2023! I added additional pictures. Delicious food in a beautiful resort! I got the French onion soup which was delicious, perfect! Others in the group got the French toast, salad and Mickey waffle. Everyone loved what they ordered. Our server was friendly and clearly loves his job. Be sure to have reservations, otherwise it’s nearly impossible to be allowed in the resort. Allow time to walk around the resort afterwards to fully enjoy it… it’s gorgeous if you’ve never been there.

This cafe delivers. Service was fantastic. Prices were decent for excellent food and good portion sizes. (Compared to it's neighboring Kona cafe at Polynesian where prices are similar, I'd choose here). Salmon was fantastic. The rice was flavored and cooked well. Salmon as well was delicious and cooked just right. Had so many green beans on my plate I could have had just veggies and salmon. Excellent taste, presentation, and portion size! Chicken and waffles good portion size, price, and flavorful. Breaded just enough and crispy. Ask for extra honey siracha to dip this in!! Burger was 10 out of 10!!! Yummy with melting cheese. Not dry and soo very juicy. The fries are extra crispy. Servers all help each other!! Great service. Clean, light, and airy feel feel. Well done, we will be back. Rating: 9.5 out of 10.

On our stay at the Grand Floridian, we dropped by the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch. We tried the chicken and waffle and the reuben sandwich. The chicken and waffles were very gold. The waffle was huge. It was very thick and fluffy. The chicken was white meat, but still juicy. The breading/coating was crushed cornflakes. It also seemed to have a hot honey drizzle that wasn’t too spicy. The Reuben sandwich was also very good. The bread was nice and crispy and there was plenty of meat on the sandwich. The waffles fries were also very good. Definitely worth a try.

Delicious lunch before we headed to the parks. I ordered the chicken and waffles which were delicious!. My hubby got the avocado toast and fruit and yogurt. The only bad thing was that the avocado toast wasn't well seasoned. Not much flavor other than the tomato which was on top. The service was amazing, our waitress Olga was so polite, professional and funny. The space was beautiful but I could see the layer of dust on the curtains. Needs a little revamp as I know the hotel has renovations going on, they could honestly use a little of it in the cafe as well. Overall a good experience definitely see me and my hubby returning.

Our server Anh-Huy was wonderful. He was incredibly attentive considering he had several tables and it was a busy night because .. well .. holidays at WDW! Our food was absolutely delicious and I was so happy when I was able to get a “Worms n’ Dirt’ dessert from the Kid’s Menu!

Love love love this restaurant for breakfast or brunch! (Great for dinner too). Great and personable servers, attentive and courteous staff. Make a reservation to avoid a wait. But walk up if you decide last minute, you may have to wait 20 or 30 minutes. Won't disappoint!

Wonderful lunch. The french onion soup was amazing and so was the chicken and waffles. Nice and crunchy and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend both. Misty, my waitress, was wonderful.

Had a wonderful evening and really enjoyed my visit. The great experience began with exceptional service as May confirmed our reservation and introduced us to our server. As we did not have a reservation prior to arrival, May was very helpful in helping with quickly securing a table. While it may not be able to be accommodated due to high volume, I'd highly recommend requesting a table in the rotunda area of the restaurant. It can be a bit louder here, but the view really adds to the ambiance. Margie, the server, was also spectacular in her service tonight. She went above and beyond to make is feel welcome, understand the menu, and make sure we did not miss out on a great dining experience by overlooking some of the menu's hidden gems. As the table was splitting multiple dishes, she was always ahead of us in providing extra cutlery and plates without us having to ask. Our table ordered the onion soup, fried chicken, and pork shoulder, all of which could feed 3-4 adults. While people often expect theme park fare to be predictable and mediocre, Disney's culinary team has really worked hard over the past couple of years to revamp the menus and offer the diner a culinary experience more in line with what you would find at a nicer restaurant in a trendy part of town. Indeed, I thought the hint of citrus with the pork helped to cut some of the fat and to add a level of depth to the dish, while the bacon vinegarette added a subtle tang to the chicken. I am looking forward to a return visit!

One of the BEST places we have ate on property. Cast members go out of their way to be amazing. They have a ton of allergy options and they taste just as good as "normal" food. They even have non dairy BUTTER! Not many places have had it. Prices were not a bad as I thought they would be and that makes the experience even better. Being able to afford the dinner and not have to stress about it is the icing on the cake. Portion sizes are perfect.

The food here was incredibly solid. Simple food done right. My boyfriend and I split the French onion soup and the burger. Both were very good (especially the soup) and exactly what you’d want when ordering those 2 items. The service was also great. Really fast and our waiter was very nice and knew what he was doing. However, the ambiance is terrible. It looked and smelled exactly like my grandmas nursing home. Really unnecessary and definitely needs some sort of refresh. And keeping with typical Disney it was way over lit.
