Black Bean Deli is a great local spot that serves great Cuban cuisine for an affordable price. Their sandwiches are amazing, and the yuca fries are a must-have. They’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and come with a nice sauce to accent its flavor. Highly recommend to anyone in the area if you’re looking for a quick bite & nice atmosphere

Black Bean Deli is definitely one of my favorite lunch places in all of Orlando - this place hits the spot every time and the food is ALWAYS really good. If you’re ever craving Cuban food, this should be the first place you considering visiting! It’s got a great atmosphere, good service, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Do keep in mind this place gets pretty busy, and parking might be a little tough, so you might want to avoid coming at a peak hour!
Everything from their coffee to their homemade Cuban baked goods to their actual menu items is so, so good. I absolutely love their cold brew (I get it every time), quesitos are amazing, tres leches is to die for, and guava/cheese pastelito is super good as well! Some top entree choices are the Cuban sandwich (of course), pan con lechon, Cuban frita burger, pan con bistec, and Havana pork. I LOVE their plantains and their black beans - you’ll get to try that with any entree though, so that’s another added benefit! Moral of the story: you really can’t go wrong here! Plus, for $9 you can get a really good Cuban sandwich with black beans and rice, and I think that’s a great deal for lunch. This is a wonderful Orlando restaurant and I can’t wait to come back again very soon!
By far one of my favorite places in Orlando, you can never go wrong here. This place serves up delicious Cuban food. I come here all the time and tend to get the daily specials and if your on the run you can always get a tasty empanada to go.
2023- Tried one of new Cuban Bowls and as usual, was completely satisfied with the deliciousness of the entire bowl.
2023-10 tasted the pork special and it was flawlessly delicious.
Always an amazing experience when I come here! The customer service and attention to detail the staff provides always blows me away! Thank you so much Jade for the sauce suggestion, it was amazing with the Cuban lechón sandwich! Definitely coming back and making the drive, so worth it
The Yuca fries were incredible. They were nice and chunky, extremely airy, and had a beautiful crisp to the outside while still maintaining a fluffy inside. The sauce was also the perfect addition to my new substitute of potato fries.
The chicken noodle soup was tasty and a squeeze of fresh lime juice provided just the right amount of tang to the savory cup. I didn't order much since it was a quick stop, so I'll have to stop by to try more options. The service was very fast and friendly.
Was visiting Florida for the first time and came in on a Sunday midday. The food was great, the YUCA IS FIRE (cassava), the staff were amazingly nice even giving me recommendations, etc. the environment is chill, it’s clean, I really liked this place!
Stopped in for a late lunch due to a rather inconsistent schedule this week. Had never been here but once I was done at the customer’s site this was very close with good ratings. The friendly young man that took my order recommended the Picadillo and it was pretty good. Black beans and white rice with it were standard, a lot of juice in the cup of beans, like they served them with a ladle instead of a slotted. spoon.
Everything was good except for the plantains. They were extremely Stale. The friendliness with the customer service was so awesome! Other than the plantains everything else was healthy and delicious!!
I got the cuban and a cafe con leche.

First bite was omg this is gooood, definitely try it! I got the chicken bowl and the beef empanadas, I prefer the corn shell vs the flour but it was goood
✅ Environment & Atmosphere: An interesting triangular-shaped parking lot. Overall a chill laid-back vibe.
✅ Customer Service: You’re immediately greeted with a smile. The cashier/server was welcoming and joyful.
✅ Quality of Food: The breakfast avocado and toast were a healthy option. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I had coffee today. The beef empanada was amazing; I had to take one to go.
✅ Recommendation: Must try.
Got a bowl; rice, black beans, chicken, avocado, and the best plantains. Would definitely get again. We need this place in Texas
This place always scores! Best in town for a quick and delicious lunch. We had a sopa de pollo cup, cuban chicken bowl and a cortadito to finish up. Keep it up!
People kept telling me about this place and they weren’t wrong. The Cuban sandwich was amazing, it had a good balance of flavor. But the highlight of my visit were the empanadas. I was actually amazed how good they were. They had plenty of options, the price was right and they were sized good. The Cuban bread slices were also good, a little bit on the small side, but they were packed with flavor. The plantain was just ok, I’ve definitely had better, but it’s not bad. Parking is a little tight. There’s a little bit of wait, but I believe it’s worth it.

I always enjoy eating here. The lunch special was plenty of food and so yummy. It includes the Cuban sandwich and black beans and rice. The flavors were delicious...I just added a little hot sauce to my black beans and rice for some spice.
The Cuban sandwich here is ridiculously good! They use good bread and there is a ton of meat! We also had the chicken empanadas and my husband loved them, and he normally prefers beef empanadas. We will definitely be back!
Great Latin cuisine! The staff is friendly, the restaurant is bright, clean, and inviting. Parking can be tight, but that is par for the course in this area of town. Plenty of seating outside. Love the Ropa Vieja special on Tuesdays!
