Great place for a meal that's really fun. It's a nice break from the cookie-cutter character meals around Disney World. At Whispering Canyon Cafe, be ready for shenanigans and a good old time. Our waitress Sam was lively and kept us laughing with different gags that started with throwing a dozen straws at us after she brought the drinks and culminated with putting our 6 year old in "jail" for not cleaning his plate. The food was good but what we liked most was how entertaining the meal and the whole staff was. We made friends with the party at the next table that was celebrating a birthday and having a great time themselves. My tip if you eat here is to make sure you get a spoon, and ask for ketchup whether you want some or not. Just be ready for a good time!

As expected lots of places at Disney are pricey, but this one makes it worth it. You wouldn't come here for a small quick quiet breakfast, but if you are hungry and want to experience something very different, you have to come, especially if you are staying at the wilderness Lodge. The servers all make it a great experience and the food is actually really good. They don't have a side of the cornbread on the menu, but the server will bring it for you if you ask, and you should .. it was worth it. Also make sure to ask for ketchup. I ordered a diet Coke and you can see from the picture, they aren't stingy with their cups.. or straws... The server said it's cause they are paper so he didn't want them :p Generally a really a very fun experience and the food was excellent. If i go back I'm going with friends as the place was more about the experience for me.

A fun restaurant for meat-lovers, with a fantastic option for vegans. “All you care to eat” with a variety of options. We ordered one each of the four options and EVERYTHING was so good. The vegan meal had so many meat alternatives, including their own cornbread and butter. It was probably one of the best vegan restaurant meals I’ve had - that wasn’t just a salad or plate of veggies. Donna was a fantastic server and so nice. The atmosphere is really fun here, I’d say especially for older kids.

It's located in Great Wilderness Lodge. You could serve me burnt toast at this resort and I would love it, the atmosphere is that great. The BBQ is actually tasty and well-cooked. Not overly greasy. The cornbread is freaking amazing.

The Land & Sea, Cedar plank Salmon, Plant based- pan fired red quinoa cakes, Corn bread with cream butter ... the food we ordered as listed was top notch and lip smacking delicious. We were served a generous portion of corn bread and butter first, followed by our order. The salmon in The land & Sea + Cedar plank Salmon was 🤤 the mushroom, sweet potato and jackfruit, green beans in both non vegetarian and vegetarian skillet options were perfectly juicy and well cooked. The portions here are massive and better shared with family & friends making Whispering canyon experience all the more fun. The staff is peppy and makes sure you are comfortable and make the right choice before ordering. Do ask for ketchup 😉

So I was wandering around Disney property, doing some monorail bar hopping, and I decided to start my day with breakfast/brunch at the Whispering Canyon! Getting to the resort on the boat was a nice ride that I had never done before, actually, and then winding through the forest to get to the cafe was fun, too. So we get there, get seated, and get to the easy task of browsing the menu. The only correct choice of the AYCE Signature Skillets, one of each, was given to the server, and while I waited for them to arrive, I indulged on the sweetest sweet tea I have ever encountered. Take that as a tip, or a warning. Here are the Skillets: The Heritage (House-made Buttermilk-Cheddar Biscuits and Sausage Gravy with Scrambled Eggs, Country Potatoes, Hickory-smoked Bacon, Pork Sausage Links, Mickey-shaped Waffles). And.. The Carnivore (House-made Cornbread with Honey Butter, Maple-Chipotle Barbecued Slow-smoked Pork Ribs, Oak-smoked Beef Brisket, Barbecued Pulled Pork, Citrus-Herb Chicken, Country Potatoes, Buttered Corn, Charred Carrots). You get one plate with all of that stuff, and then you can re-order any amount of any of the components until you burst. Here are some highlights: Don't worry about the Biscuit; focus on that amazing Cornbread instead. Add some pepper to that Gravy. The Potatoes are absolutely stellar. Ask for more waffles. Ribs, ribs, ribs, very good ribs. The Brisket was an abomination to brisket. The Chicken was surprisingly good! Overall, this experience was five stars. The food was good, the service was amazing, and the view into the lobby was really cool, too. Come here. And ask for ketchup. Trust me.

This is one of my favourite places to eat. I come from halfway around the world, and when I visit this restaurant has to be on my list of places to eat. The food is great and my family had such a great time. Don't think I have seen my kids laugh so much in their lives.

Went for breakfast with a few friends loved the food! Loved the service! Love the Mamosa Flight!! Loved watching everyone else ask for the ketchup. The only thing I didn't love is the musty smell.

Wendi (aka Hickory) was excellent at breakfast! She is so much fun and on the ball as well. The coffee was the best I've had at any Disney Resort so far.

Great BBQ food in a very good setting at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. All means are excellent with dinner featured here, typified with the all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets. If you have multiple people ordering skillets then try a few different ones - the vegetables and meats will have variety of into sharing. It does get loud at times with the staff encouraging kids to shout for ketchup or other playful noise. If you like it quieter then request a seat in the back by the fireplace, it is much calmer.

We had a reservation for 3 and they called us right on time. No wait. The place is inside the hotel and the security is beautiful. Our food was great. Lee the waiter was funny and attentive. My husband ordered the Western Style Eggs Benedict that included potato wedges. Our cousin had the Belgian style waffle with bacon. And I had the vegan Jacked Up Avocado Toast. All our food was fantastic. I was surprised by the flavors of the Jackfruit on the toast. The combination of radish with pickled onions and avocado was unique and rich. There were three vegetarian options, but they can accommodate certain dishes to make them vegetarian friendly. We enjoyed walking around the gardens, the hotel and the store. Great place to have breakfast and start the day.

We LOVE Chris! This restaurant has always been a firm favourite of ours as avid Disney fans but our experience this trip was superb! Our waiter Chris was fantastic; he’s a perfect example of what being a Disney cast member is all about! He played instruments, told us jokes, got involved in the shenanigans and was overall just brilliant! The food was great, the quinoa cakes a resounding favourite. 5/5!

We had the absolute best time at breakfast on my son’s birthday. They accommodated his allergies and he was able to have waffles. The atmosphere was fun and entertaining with all of their antics and activities. My son could not stop talking about it.

What a fun experience!! Everything from the food to the waiters. We all had such a good time and the price was amazing. $26 for all you can eat. What a deal!! The food was great I can't wait to go back!!!

Food was actually good. Meat was a tiny bit dry, but not bad. But it actually had flavor, which I find hard to come by at disney. The only real downside was the price. If you are looking for a big meal and take advantage of the all you can eat aspect... then the price is not too bad. But 40 bucks a person felt like a tiny bit much when we didn't even finish the first platter. Nachos were amazingly delicious, but the chips were a tiny bit too brittle for the toppings.

We made reservations a month in advance as it’s the holidays time and you never know! We arrived at our reservation time and was told they would text me when the table was ready. We went into the gift shop and did some pin trading. I would say we waited about 15 min. We got one of the round table more towards the back and when I asked if we could have the corner table it seemed to be too much trouble so I decided to just stay. Our waiter was Martin. He was very kind and attentive. I was told about some “antics” that may go on, but the entire meal was normal and never any funny stuff or even jokes. Just a very friendly waiter. We did have a fun ride around the restaurant riding older wooden pony’s! My 6 year old absolutely loved this. Also, anytime someone was celebrating a birthday, the whole restaurant was asked to sing. So that was fun too! For meals we had the Traditional Skillet, NY Strip, House Salad and the kids had Grilled Chicken & Tenders. Oh and let’s not forget the wonderful Corn Bread! The skillet was great, and since it was just me, I did need a 2nd helping (which is complimentary as it’s all you can eat) The skillet came with Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken, Corn, Mashed & Green Beans. Everything was super yummy, and I just love their BBQ Sauce. My hub was not crazy about his NY Strip, but I tasted it and I thought it was great. The kids food was hot, fresh and yummy…except maybe the fries, they were kind of old and not very tasty. Overall I really enjoy the ambiance and food here. And for a family of 4 we paid, with tip, $131. For a Disney Restaurant in a Disney Resort, I’d say that’s decently cheaper then most! I do hope to return here some day in the future, and maybe hit the Lottery and stay in the beautiful resort it resides in 😝
