We came in to try the pizza skulls for Halloween. We ordered take out and service was fast, efficient and friendly even on a weekday during the lunch rush. We bought two of the pepperoni and two buffalo chicken pizza skulls. They were both topped with butter after coming out of the oven and served with marinara and ranch sauce. The buffalo chicken pizza skulls was medium spicy and the pepperoni tasted like a calzone. We enjoyed both of them. I look forward to returning and trying more of the different types of pizza.

We stop by here with the whole family after hanging out at the Orlando science, center with the kids, and thankfully parking wasn’t too bad downtown that day. Upon entering the staff were very friendly and responsive, and immediately greeted us and helped us out. Our food is prepared quickly, and looked great. we each got a gigantic slice of pizza, and we also tried the Jamaican beef, patty and pizza and mozzarella stuffed things. We all enjoyed our food, and felt like the venue was really cool looking inside. They also have a bar. Overall, we felt like if you are in Orlando, you should absolutely visit as we love it here!

Spooky Skull Stuffed Garlic Knots!! 💀
I love finding fun themed food. Their skull garlic knots are stuffed with pepperoni and cheese and come in other flavors. They were actually out of pepperoni when I got there but said they could make some in 20 minutes. Worth. The. Wait!!! Highly recommend! 🙌👻

Definitely recommend everyone to stop here. This has always been my favorite (by the slice) pizza place downtown for years!! I love the atmosphere and the food is always amazing. The employees are fun and polite. I love the new mini bar addition upstairs.. and writing on the brick wall in the seating area has always been a thing for me. This was me and my husband's first date.. and the first place went to eat after getting married. Hope to never see Gitto's pizza close. I would be heartbroken. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Ordered this for delivery on uber eats. Food was good but crust was kinda dry/tasteless and the slices are huge. Solid taste overall though and loved that they included some garlic knots in the box

My wife and I needed a quick bite close to the Dr Phillips Center and this place was the perfect spot. Employees were friendly, pizza was great (I had the Bianca and wife had the margarita), and plenty of seating up stairs.
Don’t go downtown very often, but would definitely stop by for a slice again.

Edit: the manager Jorge reached out to us to personally apologize just a few minutes after I made the review. He was so kind and courteous, and obviously takes food safety very seriously. I've changed it to a 4 star review to reflect how the incident was handled; we understand that incidents happen, but what's important is that it was corrected professionally and promptly. We'll definitely be back.
Thank you, Gitto's!

We were sitting in the window above watching the guy make pizzas around 5pm on November 28. We watched him open a water bottle, open a pill bottle, and take two pills over the pizza-making station, and then he went right back to making the pizzas without changing his gloves. Several blatant major food-safety violations... We don't know what kind of medication he took, what if some of the medication got into the food? Not to mention consuming a beverage above open ingredient containers. He should have stepped off the floor to take his medication, and washed his hands and changed gloves after.
Otherwise, our experience was excellent: the food was delicious with great prices and portion sizes, the atmosphere was exquisite, and the lady who took our orders was delightful. 😊

I loved this place!!! It was a last minute decision to come here and boy oh boy am I glad I did!! It was super cute and petite without feeling too small. I only have two “bad” things to say. Truly, I wouldn’t even call them bad, just not 5 stars. One, I’m sure it was an accident!! But! Two people in my group of four asked for no ice in their drink, they had repeated it at least 4 times and they still received ice. Which really isn’t a super big deal, but also, I did ask for no ice. The one other thing was the table that we sat at was super wiggly. It was unbalanced and had a lose screw. Super easy fix and honestly didn’t bother my group at all…but something the restaurant could work on. Besides that! 10 out of 10 place! All the workers were so sweet and welcoming. Very helpful as I was unsure of what to order at first. The pizza truly was so amazing and I will be coming back!! We ordered a meat lover 22 inch and it fed us 4 plus my 16 month old and we had two pieces leftover! Honestly, it was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to take more friends here!

This is my favorite pizza place in downtown Orlando. Every time I’m visiting downtown, I stop here. It has been consistently great every time. The second floor (though it has been changed a few times) is still such a cool place to sit and eat your slice at. The prices are great, and you get a garlic knot with every slice you get. Highly recommend to anyone coming to downtown Orlando.

Delicious NYC Pizza in Central Florida!
A friend and I were looking for a place to eat before an NBA game. In the Church Street area we spotted a man and his two sons carrying a box and each munching on what looked like a perfect slice of NYC-style pepperoni. We asked where they got it and found our way to Gitto’s.
I’m a 1.5-2 hour drive away in Tampa, but now whenever I pass Orlando I have to stop and get a slice. There are SO many choices and the crust is perfection. I love watching the staff prepare the dough and crust in the front window. Everyone is always hustling in there, yet so serviceable and friendly.
My faves are the Veggie Lovers and the Chicken Caprese. I even brought a whole pie to a potluck at an Orlando home this weekend. Everyone was asking about where the amazing pizza came from!
Love the atmosphere and the upstairs bar. I’m super picky about pizza! I have standards about the crust, the sauce, the perfect amount and arrangement of toppings. Gitto’s hits ‘em all! Great job, guys! 🍕🙌😋

Keeps getting better!!! We stopped in to get a couple of slices to go - ended up with a whole pie. The man behind the counter was AMAZING!! While waiting on the pizza, I asked for an order of garlic knots. They were fresh, warm, and well seasoned! I got another order to take home. The pizza crust is light, airy, and you can taste all the ingredients. This is now our go to spot.

This place is great! A nice little hidden gem out here in Downtown Orlando. Gitto‘s is a very nostalgic pizza joint and is a great place to get food, especially after an Orlando Magic game. If you were to walk in there blindfolded without knowing which state you were in, you would think that you’re in the heart of New York City, that is how nostalgic it was and you can tell just from looking at the pictures I took as well. But nostalgia aside, the pizza is very good depending on what you get. Today I went in with my dad and got two margarita slices and a Buffalo Chicken slice, the margarita slices were great but the Buffalo chicken was okay. Other than that, their pizza is usually a big hit here in Orlando. Oh, and did I forget to mention that they throw in a garlic knot on top of your pizza?! That is so awesome on so many levels you have no idea! And let’s not forget to mention the size of the slice, which is big enough to feed two people at once. This place is definitely one worth visiting regularly and you have my word for it!

Great place to eat, the atmosphere is incredibly run down and drab. Smells a little bit going up the stairs, almost like it hasn't been deep cleaned in a while. When you get to the top of the stairs after you order, it confirms that nothing upstairs has been moved or cleaned thoroughly in years. Too bad, because the food is immaculate. Delicious pizza in the downtown Orlando area. I just wish they had as much pride in their dining room as their pizza. Would be a much more enjoyable experience.

Great for a pizza place outside of NY where I am from. Personally I wish the sauce was a little sweeter however the pizza and atmosphere were both great. Only other complaint was the music comming from the night cludlb next door. It was extremely annoying. However they do not control that so I did not negatively affect my rating.

This place reminds me of a pizzeria you would see in NY. The slices are huge and very flavorful. The upstairs sitting area is beautiful.

This pizza is the best pizza in the city of orlando. The wings are so fresh. Garlic knots are amazing. They have a vast variety of different slices for about $5 per slice. If you ever go downtown and are in the mood for a great pizza than this is a great place to try

This place it feels like going straight to a NYC pizza place. Look and feel is the same and the taste was totally there. I love pizza by the slice so this place was so great 👍 and even thought it looked very full the wait was not bad at all. The parking just as in NYC is challenging since it's in the heart of downtown Orlando if you're in downtown and you have parking else where definely try this place it will jot disappoint.
