I could come here every day if I can. Coffee is so good and they have the best Empanadas in town. Pastries are the best. I got people coming by to visit all the time and they love it too. Both Locations, Very Excellent �
This place is an A+. Everything is excellent, I ask for a coffee, beef empanadas & quesitos. The best place ever in East Colonial & Woodbury Rd. Thanh you guys you're the best! :)
This is a fantastic place to have a great cup of coffee and fresh pastries. The service and quality were exceptional. This will definitely be one of my places to stop for early breakfast or lunch. Go check it out. I think you will be as pleased as I was. It is right in front of Florida Hospital on Lake Underhill.
This place was amazing. Great food and kind staff. It's about time we have a good Colombian bakery on this side of town. It's a must try.
In Orlando for a visit and stopped in. The first thing I noticed is how spotlessly clean it is. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food and coffee was wonderful.
We tried the chicken pastry (delicious) and the guava chicharrone was out of this world.
People go here! You won't be sorry.
I've been meaning to try this place sooner, so glad I finally did. I treated myself to 2 pieces of cake a Mocha and a Nutella and let me say they are to die for I will be back! Staff are also amazing super friendly!
I get my nails done next door and never tried it... til today!! � loved the empanadas!! Seriously they are so delicious and come with different sauces � definitely going back!!
Went there yesterday for the 1st time to buy some Father's Day goodies! What a pleasant surprise! They have an excellent selection of pastries, everything tasted fresh and super delicious! I'm so happy there is finally a bakery on our side of town. I would definitely recommend for everyone to try them! They have other items on their menu which I can't wait to try.
Espectacularmente DELICIOSO! Fui por un café y un pan de bono a las 10:00am. El sabor fue tan impresionante que regrese a las 2:15pm, compre arepas, empanadas de carne y de pollo, mas pan de bono y uno de los pastries con guayaba. Ese día conocí la gloria y quiero regresar. El precio súper módico y el staff muy amable, servicial y simpático.

Service with a smile. Great baked goods and excellent coffee, etc. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. The owner, Edwin, always trying to accommodate his guests. It's worth the wait at what seems to be the longest light change on a school day. Check them out!

First impression? What a nice option to have. It was my first time visiting this place. I could hang out there all day, after all, you could get coffee, mimosas or wine here and a variety of meal options.!
Nestled away in a corner of the shopping center, there's plenty of parking. Huge bonus for location. You enter into a homey, comfortable spot that yearns for you to stay a while. Different types of seating is available; sofa and chairs for relaxed vibes, great for coffee and book reading or coffee and chats, window seating in small, intimate wooden booths that get lots if sunlight. Wooden tables set up throughout the open dining area for small groups or casual, relaxed seating along the wall with large pillows for your back. Well thought out space with quality displayed. Trash/condiment replenishment areas are well kept; clean.
Food options available for the pickiest person - me! From breakfast sandwiches to pastries and quick lunch items, it could easily be a comfortable lunch and early dinner location. The only con, I didn't know what some items were, and a staff member had a hard time telling me. She spoke only Spanish and didn't try to answer in English. Be sure to watch what the person in front of you does because as a first timer, you don't know to order, then move to pay along the opposite side of display cases. We thought our person just walked away from us after we ordered to get our order to bring to us. Nope. She was waiting way at the opposite end of the counter for us to pay but she didn't speak english so she didn't tell us.... Yikes.
The place was clean and inviting. Staff member came out periodically to clean tables where guests left things. I'd go here again. They show pride in their bakery.
Went to Mecatos for a quick dessert and thoroughly enjoyed my cheesecake! My friend ordered a tres leches cake, and it was a little too sweet for our tastes. The cafe is very clean and comfortable, though we were not in there long.
Loved my food and cappuccino immensely! Mildred was exceptionally helpful, as I wanted every item and needed help deciding! Definitely recommend the Empanadas with the spicy salsa and garlic sauce! The space is large and inviting comfortable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My daughter took me here for the first time. A very nice and open area. Delicious desserts and food. I saw some people on there laptops like working or studying. Very clean nice area to have a nice brunch or evening dinner.

Another Mecatos wonderful experience! First time at this location. Quality is the same high standards as the ones I've visited. It's a must for coffee lovers everywhere!
My wife and I really liked this place a lot. The coffees were amazing, and the empanadas weren't bad. The service was great and the employees were friendly. Definitely plan to return and looking forward to trying more things.
I always come to Mercatos Cafe ! Greeted and served by Jessica!! She is super friendly and kind ! Great food! I recommend the avocado toast and a cappuccino! The tropical pastry is amazing too! My boys love the empanadas!
I love meeting up with friends here and not feeling like you need to be rushed out the door.

I stepped into the lake underhill location and it was my first time , the ambience was spacious and modern. I really loved it but Jessica service made it even better for me. I'm not good with Spanish but she made sure to explain to me everything in English and I really appreciate that. The food brought out to me with a smile and it was also delicious. I really love the service and will be back . 10/10
Being a pastry chef I was very surprised to find this gem while visiting Florida. I have been to a dozen different locations and thus far Mecatos has made my top ten list. Must visit again. Great job
My wife and I literally eat here every morning. The coffee, food, service is superb.
Well I don’t drink hot coffee I find the baked goods excellent. The cheese bread is one of our favorites. The staff is nice and there is a ton of places to sit. This is a place that you can have a small business meeting, meet with friends, but have a nice quiet time.
Mecatos is a latin coffee shop with great food. The space is tight for the number & daily clientel; however if you are willing to wait, you won't regret seating over any of their food choice.
All their fresh baked/cooked stuff is insane…I wanted to go back and buy more. I felt like the lady behind the counter was being a little short with me, maybe it was just a language barrier or something, but it felt a little tense/annoyed. Seems like some of the reviews share the same issue. Very nice nonetheless, definitely gonna go back not zooted off that strong tomorrow 🙏🔥
In UCF area this is a good place for a Colombian coffee and good pastries. Also if hungry try the “cachapas”. Very friendly staff.
