I had a lovely last lunch here before leaving Cologne. The café was small and busy for a Sunday, but the elderly gentleman who served us was very polite and friendly. And although the food took a while to arrive, I didn't mind as we weren't in any rush to go anywhere. So, considering there was one person in the kitchen and the chap who served us, they did a great job with the food and service. I had a green tea to drink, which was a bit small for what I paid (€3.20), but I could see it was a decent quality loose tea that he put in a special muslin bag. As for food I had the "Groß und Fein" (€10.90), which consisted of a selection of colds cuts of meats and cheese platter with side salad, butter, jam and a variety of breads (which was to die for!). All of the meats were tasty, and the cheeses too...so this german classic dish made for very a light and tasty lunch! So, if you like a nice bit of café breakfast/lunch food and you're in the area, then this is the place to go! Good value for money and some lovely bits of art deco interior, too. Would definitely visit here again if in Cologne. Easy 5 stars.

I found this place while I was on a morning stroll and was drawn in by the vintage music playing and the cute decor inside the shop. The waitress was very kind and the food beautifully arranged and super delicious! It was also such a big portion that I skipped lunch, definitely worth the price.

The breakfast was good, and good portion, the prices are normal, the only thing that could be improved might be the people, to be more smiley ;)

We got the tip from our friends to come for breakfast. We are happy that we listened to them because it was delicious! We had a egg with bacon, and good tasty bread. And good cappuccino. The waitresses are very nice. And there is a good and relax atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Surprisingly cozy, super friendly and cheerful. It was a cold snowy winter evening when I stumbled across this place. I was served a homemade hot chocolate drink and an Apfelkuchen. It felt like a much needed warm hug. The waiter is lively and extremely welcoming. Will surely visit again!

Cozy, sweet little café, a bit hidden in a side street. We came bc we could have a late breakfast (around 2pm). Very nice staff, reasonable prices, food selection and food itself was good and tasty and plenty. And you can pay cashless.

Small and cozy cafe with friendly staff and good quick kitchen. It is working for about 30 years and for all this time is owned by the same family. In the morning it was fully occupied by licals which is also a good sign.
