Moved to this area and saw this dominican spot. I like Dominican food and I decided to try it. The food was good. Got some pernil and rice and yuca and the price was decent. Portion was good as well.

Idk what to say to this place honestly, just walking into it took me back to my childhood. First thing I saw was an elderly grandmother, walking a large pot of arroz con gandules. Just like my grandmothers did, all of them. The gentleman who made my mofongo clearly knew what he was doing. The flavor profile is bananas, literally. 😂 The mojito they give is straight 🔥 🔥 🔥. That juice I got next door at the Asian Sunlight Market.

Yellow rice and beans , sweet plantains and BBQ was delicious. My granddaughter said the food was really good. She ate it all. Great price on the food.

First time. I liked the store. One of those Spanish grocery that has very Spanish products you need. Even though didn't have anything to eat their food in the buffet looked very appetizing.

Consistently great and tasty food. The roast pork is one of the juiciest I have had. From the chicken soup to the tostones to the arroz con gandules, never had a bad experience here. Friendly staff and the owner is very humble and nice.

Our favorite little secret place for Dominican food (the name is kind of misleading). We carry out, but they do have tables. Big dinner for two under $15. Good flavor and good deal.

My god my god, where do I begin?! This place is a hidden gem. Where grocery store meets restaurant. Consider it the ghettos WAWA except for the fact it’s NOT ghetto! This is my go to spot when I need a quick fix and my stomach is craving for my DNA fueled food. They practically make the same things EVERY DAY. Chicken, beef stew, pork, yellow rice, white rice, fish & a few other things. That’s what makes it perfect. They have perfected their menu. Walking in you will be greeted with the sound of country Dominican music and loud talking over a screeching guitar riffs, Dominoes games and baseball talk. That’s what makes it feel like home to me. It’s the culture behind it. Owners are polite and the people are respectable. Trust me, DO YOUR BELLY THE FAVOR. :-)

Pernil / lechon, arroz con gandules, ensalada de papa, yuca, guineitos y mucho mas! Who needs to cook I say. Delicious and authentic. The best in the area by far.
