Food was great this time! Unfortunately the time before that the grits had dry chunks through out and the shrimp was raw. I truly wish I listened when the waitress warned me about the shrimp and grits. My biggest issue is the hostess hes rude! He could really use some job coaching. Kids eat free on Wednesday and Sunday! They have great desserts and pickles.
This restaurant is wonderful!! A must to eat when you're in the Ormond/Daytona area. It's located on Nova Rd. Generous portions and wonderful wait staff. The restaurant is very clean. There's a cozy pub when you first walk in, you can eat there or just order a beer or cocktail, or eat in the restaurant area. They have take out, delivery, curbside pickup and indoor dining.
A must go! DB pickles is a institution around here. Good value, great food & nice staff. We’ve been about 5 xs. I finally got pics. The bakery is to die for. What varieties of desserts to choose from. Large portions specially the foods . Full bar & daily specials. The owner been in front staff lately. He’s really nice. A Vet! Family owned. Support local restaurants 😀
The food was good. The wait staff is friendly. But what I would like to know for all restaurants is the tables get clean and sanitize why aren't they cleaning the chairs where people hands go on. The seats are cleaned. The price is comparable.

Amazing food, the salads and sandwiches are huge and fresh. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was free best roast beef I have ever had. My husband had the Greek isle and he couldn't finish it and he never leaves food...
Simply put a really good restaurant! The look and feel of a big city deli/ restaurant, complete with old time pictures on the walls, and an extensive bakery cooking up delicious pies, cakes, and pastries you don't find everywhere. Reminds me of a Jewish deli you'd find in New York City or Washington, DC.
Plenty of seniors frequent this place, further indication that the food is really good. The menu is sizeable and has choices for every palate. Yum!
This is an awesome restaurant! The food is delicious and the service was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Looking forward to future meals.
